Hotel Indigo NYC Financial District, an IHG Hotel

Staff was great, receiving us with a great smile. Room is spacious and beds super comfy. There is a mini-bar in the room, and a coffee machine which are great amenities if you want to save some money :) Hotel is real close to subway stations and to some city attractions (cruise to Statue of Liberty, Charging Bull, Battery Park, Wall Street, Trinity Church...). Bathroom space was a surprise for us, as we were expecting a small bathroom like we are used to see in NY hotels, but it is huuuge and shower was excellent!!! Room was very clean and

Minor things that did not affect our stay like coffee machine was not very clean, and disposable cups and coffee capsules were not replenished.

Staff, breakfast and location. Room was a good size given the location. Also reasonably priced too.

Lifts can take a long time especially in the morning. Also one day my hotel room was not clean and on one of the pillow cases had a tiny stain of someone's blood on it

Excellent experience. I stayed at room 3105, which was comfortable for New York City standards, quiet, bright, neatly decorated, and with good supplies of basic amenities. Bathroom was ample (handicap friendly). Staff was nice and professional, and breakfast was pretty good. The property is very well located, just in front of Rector St subway station (R and Q lines), and close to Trinity Church and Wall St. Absolutely worth it!

None! Be mindful that I traveled solo--experience might change if you travel with family/children. Rooms are still small, though for NYC standards they are OK.

The room is small but super complete and comfortable, it has everything you might need, it's perfect if you're only going to sleep, the bed is quite comfortable and wide, and the bathroom is fine. You can tell they think about the details. The restaurant food is very good. The staff is very friendly and nice. The location is perfect, at night it is calm and quiet.

The shower in the bathroom has a fixed chair which makes taking a bath uncomfortable, we assume it was a room for seniors and the bathroom in general had a strong smell of urine all the time, like it was stuck on the walls. It was clear that they cleaned every day but the smell was in the bathroom's air

The female receptionists were so kind. Very accommodating and friendly. The view from our room was incredible.

The hotel bathrooms for guests in the lobby required a key and when I asked a male staff member where it was, he rudely mentioned it was on the 2nd floor but failed to mention we required a key. Not a big deal normally, however, I was with two small children one under 2 and it was taxing having to go up and down the elevator to pick up a key the staffer could've given us in the first place. I also didn't like that this same staffer came around to seemingly push us out of the room before we were to check out. I'd inquired twice about having a late checkout and the first reception had agreed, but in the morning of checkout this staffer still knocked on our door to ask when we were leaving. The ac kept turning off and the control box turned red several times. It got so hot overnight.

A new hotel in the Financial District just behind Trinity Church, a great location to explore Lower Manhattan! Staff accomodated my special request with a late arrival (my plane was delayed and I made it to the front desk around 3AM). Everybody I met at the front desk (especially two gentlemen and one lady at check-out) was friendly and professional. The high-floor room had a nice view on the adjacent street, great noise isolation. Though not huge in size, the room was perfectly fine for a short stay, the bed was very comfortable, the attached bathroom was chic and worked perfectly. Coffee pods were provided and replaced free of charge. The wide-screen TV was also very nice. Breakfast and brunch are offered at the on-site restaurant in the lobby - I haven't tried it, but it looked very inviting. Convenience stores, eateries, several subway stations and all amenities within walking distance. All in all a perfect little spot for exploring NYC and relaxing after a day of sightseeing, I would recommend it to other travelers and would return the next time!

There was a lot of garbage on the surrounding corners, which attracted a bunch of rats around the hotel's entrance. Though this is clearly not the hotel's fault, I hope something will be done to address this concern soon.

Very comfortable and quiet rooms. Best sleep and beds ive ever had in NYC. Location was near 4 subway stops. Brand new hotel with Dutch theme was cool.

Not much in terms of food near you, but that is obvious. Elevators were having issues and took forever. Had to wait 15 minutes two times. The staff were very nice but sometimes didn't have things coordinated well. I arranged a late checkout 2 times with the front desk, but was still called 3 times in the morning asking if I am paying for another night. There was no note saying I was checking out late despite the fact that I was told twice it was there. Not a big deal, and hopefully this will be better with time.

Clean. New looking rooms, friendly staff, nice neighbourhood, reasonable price (got a good deal) for NYC. lots of amenities around including a few 24/7 convenience shops (7-11 etc) and a Whole Foods Market. 2-3 mins walk to Wall Street and the main sights of FiDi

Room on the smaller side (although probably normal for NYC at this price), restaurant fairly limited in offerings. Saw pictures of a hotel gym on the IHG website but could not find where it is (no obvious sign). Stayed for 2 days, but for some reason after our first night the housekeeper did not replenish our fresh towels or took out rubbish - only made our beds. Is this standard?

The hotel is well placed, close to WTC and there is a lot of subway stations close to it (directly at the bottom of Rector St station NRW). Our room had a beautiful view on the skyscrapers and the church bellow. The room is small but as 2 walls are with big windows there is a feeling of space. You will find classic accommodation in the room which are useful (coffee machine, iron & board). The hotel is new.

Unfortunately the breakfast was not included but it was fine without. A/C sound was noisy, but can be easily turned off.
