Sonder at One Platt

The location and size of the apartment was perfect for us. We also liked the app used for customer service.

The first night we came the apartment was not cleaned at all. There was dust on the floors, food scraps in the sink, shower curtains missing, no bed sheets or anything, no towels. Basically it would have been impossible to sleep there. And after arriving there late at night it wasn’t pleasant to arrive to such a sight. We got another room to sleep the night at and arrived at the morning to a cleaned room.

Space was good. Lots of closet storage. Easy check in and check out. Two bathrooms and the kitchen was good too. Close to a market with allergy friendly foods.

There were no instructions for the oven/microwave. It was cool, but I couldn't figure it out. Also, we requested an extra blanket and never received it. While there was one extra in the room, we had two kids sharing a bed who struggled to share a blanket, and one person on the couch. We were 5 people (which worked well) but only 3 blankets.

Big space, I like the closets to organize our things, very decorated, good location, the kitchen really good!!

Just 2 complaints: the first and most important: the sofa bed, that is so bad, seriously, if you change that or just give a better mattress, everyone will be happy. The 2º: the tv, I try to connect, but couldn't. Just do that simple, please.

Location is excellent, apartment size great, easy security.

Although the apartment was spacious it was quite tired and worn in places. They were easy fixes but did disappoint us slightly as the advertised photos make it look immaculate.

Appliances, kitchen equipment, furniture, location, staf...

It would have been better if it was cleaned and sheets/towels changed at least once during our 6 day stay.

Perfect location close to subway and food options nearby. Apartment was very clean and the beds were so comfortable I didn't want to get out of bed each morning! With a few bakeries nearby we enjoyed breakfast in the apartment kitchen. A short walk to the water for great pictures of the Brooklyn Bridge, or the One World Tower. We will definitely return to Sonder One Platt.

The size of the room ,the Location and the gym was great. We will idefinitely stay again anytime we are in New York.

The checking in process was a bit much .

There wasn’t a washing machine or a collective laundromat in the building.

I like that the area is very close to restaurants and subway stations. Brooklyn Bridge, South Street seaport Occulus, Wall Street, One Tower, Battery Park are all walking distance.

Maybe just the chromecast ;) cause we where looking for some local news to watch. But the rest are all superb experience.

heating didn’t work throughout stay - not ideal in sub-zero NY temperatures no hot water on last day lack of comfortable seating for 4 (given capacity of apartment) apartment clean, but some issues with the fabric (stained sofa, water damaged bathroom unit doors, etc)
