Courtyard New York Downtown Manhattan/Financial District

Excellent location, close to train stations, restaurants and shopping less than 5 minutes walking distance. The hotel itself is new so all the facilitites are clean. The room was small but that is to be expected in NYC. Bed was very comfortable and the bathroom size was ok. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Not sure if this is just regular customer service in NYC, but the front desk ladies were not very welcoming. They seemed to be annoyed when asked questions. There was a male receptionist at night who was very kind and helpful.

As soon as we walked in at 6AM the young man(we wrote his name down but lost it. It started with a S)was so inviting and KIND. It was refreshing from hours of traveling and my friend was a little weary of New Yorkers but the entire staff was AMAZING. It was actually my birthday and I never said it but they made me feel like it. At one point I was looking for the ice machine in the middle of the night and an employee ON BREAK took me to it. It’s the little things that make a trip and the staff at this hotel made it exceptional! Thank you all again and see you again.

Staff made the check-in process unnecessarily difficult. I called days before my visit to make sure I had what I needed to check in. I was told everything would be ok. Upon checking in I was told the opposite of what I was told on the phone the day before. I then had to spend 45 minutes trying to get what I needed to check in. Overall, the process was frustrating especially since I called ahead of time to avoid issues and was assured I had what I needed to check in.

Location was good, walking distance to Ground Zero and about 5 mins from the nearest subway station. Good restaurants within a few meters range from the hotel, both expensive and cheap options (Biryani carts, dollar slice pizzas). Bed was very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and accommodating with whatever we needed and even booked us a ride to the airport which I think was fairly priced (Lyft was about $5 cheaper but the ride booked for us was a huge Chevy Suburban!). We didn't avail of the breakfast.

I get that rooms are tiny in NYC, but this one was especially bad because of the layout of our room. It wasn't a perfect rectangle, but rather a weird shape with weird corners which made it feel like the room was way smaller than it already really is. The TV was all the way to the left in a weird viewing angle, the space beside the bed was crooked and did not fit our big luggage so we were forced to place them on top of the windowsill and on top of the tiny table where the TV was.

My stay was phenomenal. Honestly before i booked i was iffy because of the mixed reviews but i am happy I did. Upon arrival the front desk staffs were very warm and professional. Check in was pretty quick as i had already checked in the previous day via mobile all i had to do was collect my keys. I was on the ninth floor and it works for me. The place is exceptionally clean kuddos to the cleaning staff from the lobby to the rooms to the hallways etc. when i got to the room i was blown away it was vibrant and modern. The room was a little small but it works for me and my partner and of course “it’s NewYork “. The room was sound proof because I haven’t heard a single sound from next door one bit even my partner ask if we were on the floor alone 😂😂😂. We stayed for one night and will definitely be returning. I am mad at myself for not remembering the names of the wonderful staffs but they were so nice and pleasant. I remember Rudolph as we came down in the elevator together and his energy is magnetic. Great guy! Thank you all for making my stay wonderful it’s appreciated.

Staff was amazing. They helped us especially when our room lock died and we had to reach a fashion show ASAP. Maintenance got there in a flash and got it working immediately. The staff also let us store our luggage for the day since our flights landed hours before check in. Staff also was very helpful checking In and because I did not know this hotel was Credit/debit only and we brought cash to pay for the room. Since we are international and couldn't deposit cash into our bank, staff helped come to a solution!

The common areas and the reception had nice finishes and furniture. Inside the room, my bed was super comfortable. The bathroom was well equipped and water was as hot as one would like. Carpet was clean.

It is not as close to the subway as I thought it was, so I did lots of walking. Though the room was comfy, it was small. There was some noise from the construction nearby.

The time it took to check in was ridiculous. They couldn’t find my prepaid registration and charged me again and over drew my account as a result which I had fees assessed just to turn back around and realize that they made a mistake, but didn’t offer to reimburse me for everything with the insurance exception of the doublé booking.

We (4 people) stayed one night in a double bed room and it was perfect. Enough space for all our belongings and to get ready. The bathroom was very large. The bed was super comfortable and the room was clean. We walked to China town and soho from the location-about 20 minutes but it was a great walk with plenty of good shops along the way. An Uber or taxi was a short ride to other locations for about $10. We didn’t eat anywhere nearby but there were plenty of options. It’s the perfect hotel if you just need a place to shower and sleep.

Comfortable bed, huge Smart TV with cable, nice spacious bathroom, quiet and clean. Location is about 7 min walk from the nearest train/subway station but right around the corned of the Seaport Area. I walked all the way to Chinatown which was about 15-20 min walk but enjoyed it as you pass the Brooklyn bridge. There is a supermarket and Chipotle about 2 min walk away.

There was a safety deposit of $200 for my 2 nights stay which I felt was something very dated.
