Really good sized room, comfortable bed, great shower. The hotel was not too big (only 7 floors)and was not commercial. Breakfast was served from 7am to 10am so it was possible to have an early breakfast and get on with my day. Breakfast was a selection of cereals and toast, tea and coffee - no juice, fruit, yoghurt or cooked options - and was self service, although I liked that you didn't have to wait. You could get tea, coffee and water all day (no tea-making facilities in the rooms) and there was also a handy vending machine to get soft drinks and chocolate. The room had a safe, a fridge, and air con (which was much needed!). Lots of towels provided (I counted 8!), and the shampoo, conditioner, soap and moisturiser provided were really nice, and topped up throughout the stay. Brilliant location for downtown attractions, access to the Greenway, several subway stations very close by - a subway journey up to mid town on the express took no more than 30 minutes, and the local train to mid-Central Park West side did not take much longer. There are lots of places to eat and drink nearby, either as a sit down meal or for somewhere just to grab something to take away (the wraps at Garden City Deli were amazing!). The street at the back of the hotel (outside Ulysses) got busy and lively at night - I was on the 3rd floor, overlooking Ulysses, and did not find the noise to be intrusive - it was good to hear people out, having fun. Not luxury, but a really good base with all the comforts needed and away from the crowds of mid-town. All the staff I saw and spoke to were friendly and pleasant and reception ordered me a taxi to the airport when I checked out.

The room service option was not available (don't advertise it or leave cards in the room if it is not available!). The rooms needed a thorough clean (the carpet under the fridge/TV unit was very dusty) although otherwise it was a clean room. Could have done with a few more hangers in the wardrobe, or some hooks on the wall in the ante-room so coats and bags could have been hung up out of the way. Breakfast is described as continental - it isn't. It's a decent breakfast, but it should be described correctly.

The hotel was clean, incredibly comfortable in terms of room size and bed (huge, and VERY comfortable) perfectly located and all round good customer service. I didn't have breakfast, but it was available. I did take up the all day coffee station, which was much appreciated. I also valued housekeeping actially did turn down the beds, change towels etc etc, which can be patchy in hotels nowadays - many give the excuse of the pandemic, not the case in this hotel. Aircon worked perfectly. Everything was well laid out, cleaned and prepared for guests. The decor suited me too - I prefer traditional hotels rather than new/contemporary. The history of the hotel and the area it sits in adds to its character. The area is very safe, I didnt once feel unsafe walking alone by myself around the area. There are restaurants and other eateries just steps away from the hotel, Wall Street too, perfect location to all local amenities, and none of the noise - I stayed on the 2nd floor for 6 nights and not once did I hear sirens etc as you often have with hotels in mid/upper Manhattan. I wanted peace, relaxation and calm, and thats exactly what I had from staying at the Wall Street Inn. Thank you to all.

Really nothing at all to say, I enjoyed my stay there and wouldn't hesitate to stay again. One note, and this is not a criticism at all, but others have mentioned building woeks, so, to clarify - yes, be aware that there is scaffolding on the front rooms of the hotel, but this does in no way detract from the rooms. The 'view' would only be the street below, and for the age of the buildings, its totally understandable that they need upkeep. I stayed for the 6 nights and during the week, and a weekend and was never once disturbed by any building works. Don't be put off, this really is a lovely and peaceful hotel to stay in.

A very quaint old fashioned hotel. Friendly staff. Good facilities. Great location. Walking distance of many bars and eateries. Some literally behind the hotel. Others on the river. Walking distance to the 9/11 Memorial and also staten island ferry for great views of the statue of liberty. A subway ride for everything else. Loved having a fridge in the room.

A very minor issue was having to go downstairs for a coffee. Would have preferred a kettle in the room.

From the time I entered the hotel I felt welcomed. The ability to drop off your bag until check in helps as you can do other things until check in time. The check in process was easy. The room was cosy and had everything we needed. It is located near to eating places and subways. The wi-fi was good for what I needed it for which was to keep in touch with my family. The hotel was clean in general and housekeeping was very efficient.

Everything was to my liking.

Lovely stay at Wall Street Inn. Staff were helpful and the continental breakfast was perfect to get started for the day. Nice reception area where we were able to meet friends. Good for exploring downtown.

Only issue was finding the location - taxi driver from airport could not locate it due to GPS downtown being patchy.....at 1am in the morning having to get out to walk and find it was a pain. Would recommend printing a copy of map location before travelling. Not the hotel's fault though.

clean, good sized room for New York, quick check in. has a cozy family business feel. good location downtown close to WTC and Battery Park, South Street Seaport, close to many subway lines and not as hectic as midtown. beautiful historic area

Dark because scaffolding surrounds the building and has been there for years. breakfast is pretty basic

This hotel is ideally located for Battery Park to get on the Liberty Island/Ellis Island ferry, also the Staten Island and Governor's Island ferries. There are plenty of bars, restaurants and takeaways nearby. The rooms are very comfortable and you have everything you need. There is coffee and tea available in the breakfast room all day and the breakfast, although basic, is perfectly adequate. Overall we loved our stay here and would definitely come back. Hopefully next time we come the roof terrace will be accessible.

Nothing, highly recommended

The bedrooms were large and had two queen beds with a desk inbetween and TV console which housed a mini fridge and drawers. It is an old building which is what I liked and we were on the 5th floor, room 503 and my brother in law and nephew were in 506, their room was very similar to ours in size. There was not much of a view as the building had scaffolding round it but that didn't bother us as we spent most of the time out and about. The staff were great, very helpful with regards to booking transport and any other questions. The breakfast was fairly good considering it is free, there were individually wrapped croissants and pain au chocolate, bread, yogurts, cereal and make your own waffles. The hotel is close to lots of bars and we found a loveli Deli and newly opened small supermarket selling hot and cold food round the corner. I also needed cold sore cream and a pharamcy was just round the block although I would advise taking your own cold sore cream as the prices were extortionate! The 9/11 memorial and Occulus were a 10 minte walk and the Governers Island Ferry terminal was 5 mins away. We were very pleased with the hotel and I would stay there again if I go back to New York. The beds were very comfy, I normally don't sleep very well as I have problems with my neck but the cushions were lovely and squishy and different sizes and the mattress was nice and firm with no sagging which happens a lot in hotels. The cleaning staff were also very nice and helpful especially when I had trouble with my room card, one of them called the desk to tell them to get me a new one.

My sister thought the room smelt of "old feet" when we walked in but we got used to it. A few more drawers would have been handy as although there is a wardrobe set into the wall, it wasn't that big. It was a bit dark in our room but not sure if it was due to the scaffolding or the opposite tall buildings but it helped keep the room dark for sleeping. The bigger dining room looked a little untidy with chairs and other stuff piled into a corner by where we sat but apart from those little things, everything was good.

Room was very spacious by NYC standards. King size bed with two wingback chairs and a desk as well. Bathroom was huge too. Very clean, room was very quiet, bed was quite comfy. Location excellent - close to 2,3 train and lots to explore within walking distance. Even had a closet with a fold down ironing board and iron. Good toiletries provided. Service was excellent as well. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Room is a bit dark - but this is the case for the financial district in general.
