Gild Hall, a Thompson Hotel, part of Hyatt

Very nice hotel in the Financial centre. Easy to reach by subway station Fulton St. The premium deluxe king room is worth the money (room with very high ceilings, gives a feeling of space, air). The lobby is very nice with free coffee and tea between 6.30 and 11 am. The staff at the desk are very friendly and helpful. The cleaning is thorough and the cleaning ladies do a very good job. Fully recommend this hotel!

As it is in the financial disctrict there is always some noise from outside. The double glazed windows dont keep the streetnoise from airco´s completely out, but it is not very annoying (just a monotonous rushing sound which i got used to quickly). the gym is a bit very mini mini. Space also does not allow for more machines.

I like we were greeted by a Robert so warmly. and given a nice room. He wished us a happy 30th anniversary. He helped us with a few special requests like a coffee machine. Robert got to know us a little when he checked us in by engaging in conversation about our stay. The hotel has old English charm. Warm worn leather furniture. It met all our needs. The housekeeping did a great job refreshing the room up and turn down. The overnight front desk service was excellent on Monday night she called around for restaurants that were open late so we could grab a drink and meal. She really went out of her way to help. She was very knowledgeable about the surrounding area. We opted for the breakfast plan it was delicious. We had the American breakfast one morning fresh quality ingredients and the bagel sandwich the next day. They even offer avocado toast.It came with a great beverage choice. But a little bit of glitches when ordering. You have to order each breakfast in a separate compete order. The Butler delivery service was great. Angel I believe checked us out he was awesome as well. The stay was lovely. The Gild really wanted to make our stay exceptional in any way they could. There’s a great deli/grocery store called Jubilee one block away with fantastic selections including snacks,sandwiches and soup open 24/7. The gild had plenty of wet/dry snack too. Parking was $65 either valet or self park and very safe and courteous about parking the car.

The staff was welcoming (also comedic) and extremely helpful. Anytime we needed extra towels they brought them almost immediately. There is espresso coffee in the lobby in the mornings and prosecco in the evenings. The restaurant had an excellent breakfast. The location is great because it is in the middle of the financial district and really close to the Fulton stop which will take you almost anywhere by metro. The interior of the hotel is the typical, dark, masculine, modern you would expect from a Thompson hotel.

The front entry is pretty weathered so when you get out of the taxi it is a little worrisome until you walk inside and see the nice, modern interior.

From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding. The front desk employees were over accommodating, friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make sure our stay was top notch. The decor and vibes of the decor were so inviting and peaceful. A glass of Champagne added a nice touch to check-in. Room was very nice, beds sooo comfy. The shower was invigorating. Very clean. Cant say enough about the staff. Robert Pechnilbutr, guest relations manager and Jonathan Anzurez, Operations Manager went above and beyond to welcome ourselves and guest coming in the door. They were so very happy we were there and assisted to our every need. They should be commended!

There was nothing we disliked. Will be back to this property many times in the future.

Perfect location to walk everywhere in the financial district. Walk the Brooklyn Bridge, Wall Street, One World Observatory, Battery Park, Statue of Liberty, 9/11 memorial, ground zero. The room is a good size for New York, the room had hardwood floors, which was fantastic for being clean. The bathroom was a good size with great water pressure. From the room you could hear nothing outside, very quiet. Checkout at noon is also very convenient. I can't say anything negative about this hotel and the restaurant on site is one of the best, if not the best, Italian restaurants I have eaten at outside of Italy!

Nothing, the hotel really did exceed every expectation.

Location is great. The staff is very very friendly and supportive. We forgot a backpack at the lobby the day we checked out, the staff found it and called us in time. Other nice things including having breakfast at the next door resturant is great, the coffee machine, the high ceiling room etc.

The hotel is facing to Platt st which is different from the official address listed online as Gold st. It would be nice to give some advanced notice. Later, I put this address in GPS “35 Platt St”, it makes the drive to the hotel much easier.

The hotel is ideally located for visiting many of the downtown Manhattan attractions. Many with easy walking distance including the One World Trade Center. The room was extremely comfortable with much needed climate control (New York in August is hot!). The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful, working quickly to resolve problems or answers inquiries. The on-site restaurant, Felice Ristorante, made for a pleasant eating experience and the food was well prepared. There are plenty of other eating choices nearby also.

No dislikes come to mind. A minor problem with bathroom fixture was fixed expediently. It felt like the staff team would be willing to jump in and help resolve any issues.

I like the location , i a quiet location but close to subway stations. I thought the staff were excellent and friendly and always willing to help , and the free Prosecco was a nice touch.

Maybe a kettle in the room and English breakfast tea available.a small thing but for us brits a must .

Location was great easy to get to destinations I wanted to see mostly within walking distance or a short train ride. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Housekeeping was great. Loved the coffee in the morning and Prosecco in the evening was a nice touch. Overall I would definitely recommend and stay here again.

I would skip the breakfast here next time. Definitely not worth the extra money spent.

The location is fantastic! The staff is friendly and helpful. The room is soundproof. Cleaning staff so friendly.

Time to update the showers to have bulk sized toiletries with pump dispensers. Bed was a little too firm. Restaurant in the morning (Saturday) seemed understaffed. Casting to the TV did not work. The instructions to Chromcast just led to a dark screen. If this was fixed, it would make you stand out!
