The location is perfect if you want to be close to everything but not in a really busy part of the city. It’s right beside Battery Park, lots of subway stations and the ferry ports. The room was really spacious with all the amenities you could need. The bed was really comfortable and there was loads of storage space for clothes/toiletries/suitcases. It was such a brilliant base for a week. I was so glad we booked it!

Overall we didn’t find the staff very friendly/helpful (however there were two really lovely staff members on when we checked in). For example, the stopper in our sink was jammed from when we arrived and nobody fixed it/communicated with us about it despite us letting them know a couple of times over the week. The only other things is the shower wasn’t very strong pressure wise and the gym space is quite small. It is important to note that because it is an apartment there is no cleaning service and there is a charge if you request it. We didn’t need it but it’s good to know.

The pool + facilities around the pool was excellent - water fountain towels lots of loungers. The staff, particularly on the front desk, were amazing - I cannot speak of them highly enough - they were always friendly and helpful. Great location, with access to a lot of the subways so aiding navigating the city considerably. Good grocery / food options within a 30 minute round trip.

The room on arrival wasn't the cleanest - there was a long hair in the shower when I first went to use it. The bed / bedding was okay however the bottom fitted sheet was constantly coming off and started to get annoying. The air con was ridiculously noisy which meant it was either the tv or the air con as you couldn't have both on at the same time comfortably. The TV set up was annoyingly limiting - it only allowed streaming so as someone coming from overseas the only app I could use was Netflix. For the price of the room I would expect better TV options

Nice building with fitness and music room as free extra. Good firm bed. Nice view from 8th and 9th floor. We stayed in 811 and 914. Nice and helpfull staff.

Must bring earplugs for sleeping, because of ventilation system noise. The sofabed could use an upgrade to a more comfortabele one.

great location, few metro stations on just few min walking. Staton Island ferry is 3 min walking distance. spacious, modern, great roof terrace, we also had a nice view from the room. i don’t think you can find a better, more spacious, stay in Manhattan for the price Sonder offers (I did my research;) )

Cleaning services don’t pass every day, it was only once in the 5 days we stayed, and than they only brought new towels but did nothing else. So, cleaning should certainly be quite improved

Perfect location in the financial district. Easy walk to subway, Battery park, Wall Street, Southside Seaport. Keyless entry at all hours in a secure location with friendly front desk and room essentials. Fully stocked room makes it easy to prepare meals and save some $$ while traveling. Loved the sit-in window sills and big windows. Pool was open, which was awesome! There were a couple things under repair or in need of maintenance, like hot tub, that will be nice when open, but it was summer, so didn't need it.

There were a couple things advertised that are coming soon, like interactive golf game and music jam room that would have been fun for the kids, but no big deal. Some of the furniture had design flaws like the under panels on fridge and dishwasher that popped off every time you opened them, or the pull out mattress that had an extreme tilt downward, but these are minor things and probably normal wear & tear.

Felt like coming home. Great location. Loved the luggage storage.

No option to request a Cleaning. Only one request i.e extra towel per stay. The bathroom was a bit dirty and both the sheets and pillows needed to be washed or replaced because when they got wet from sweat, black spots were revealed throughout the fabric. We were told we needed to wash them ourselves, along with our towels. I would have preferred a brand new set.

Very friendly and helpful service desk. Our iron was broken, immediately replaced. Fully equipped, modern, very clean. Good location to catch MTA Rector street & Bowling green to uptown. Walking distance to WTC.

A/C didn't work properly / very loud. Even though we were on 15th floor, quite noisy from early morning to late evenings from tunnel road just in front of building

Great location with very convenient subway connections. Nice spacious bathroom. Great storage space. Lovely rooftop. We got very lucky with a view of Hudson river from our room. Washer, dryer and kitchenette were a pleasant bonus.

The vent inside of the room was very loud and couldn't be turned off at all times- quite disturbing when you try to sleep! Cleaning service only before check-in, which is absolutely fine if you stay for a short period of time, but definitely not acceptable for longer stays. No ceiling lighting in the bedroom - it gets quite dark in the evening. Bedside lighting was too far away from the bed. No sockets near the bed and no bedside table on one side of the bed. A couple of dingy details around the room (scratches on the wall and the floor, broken cupboard door).

We enjoyed the calm location even if before the stay we were a bit worried that we will be staying far from everything. It was perfect!

I was not happy with some kind of air conditioning in the room which was constantly on and too loud for me to sleep. I asked the staff, they told me it cannot be switched off, so they at least ordered cleaning which improved it a bit but I still had to buy ear plugs to sleep well.

Location was very good. Central for subway, world trade centre, restaurants etc. Lovely view from hotel room/rooftop. Fabulous room and facilities - very spacious with cooker, dishwasher, cooker, microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer. Massive, comfortable bed. Lots of storage and super clean. Lovely bathroom with lots of storage/mirrors, bath and shower.

We weren’t able to use the swimming pool but this wasn’t the hotel’s fault as state laws say that swimming pools have to close on 5 September. Our dishwasher didn’t work for the duration of our stay but this wasn’t too much of a problem for us.
