Old hotel with renovated common parts. Enormous size rooms for Japan! Nice and clean Onsen with a peaceful outdoor area. Walking distance to a few local restaurants.

The bathrooms are still original, charming but very tired. In the morning you can hear the music that plays in the corridors very clearly, they start playing it around 6-6:30, for a resort it would be better to keep it quiet till at least 8 AM.

Excellent hotel, stayed in the family room - lobby was absolutely amazing and the staff were so friendly. Onsen was beautiful, well kept and maintained. Really enjoyed my stay here. It's a shame we didn't get to stay long enough to enjoy the onsen more. There's a family mart literally outside the hotel so you can always grab supplies there and get it to your room. Roomy was excellent (family room) can't speak about the other rooms. I loved it so much I wish i could have stayed longer with a lot more of family. There was a lot of guests who kept the environment very enjoyable. Very children friendly !!

I do wish the room had a microwave though; some of the light switches were not working as expected but didn't deferr from the overall experience.

We enjoyed the big, onsen baths. staff are friendly and take time to explain our questions. Breakfast is amazing. I never had a Japanese buffet breakfast this great. we stayed only 1 night and expected Onsen and breakfast, so we are satisfied guests!

we arrived at Hakone yumoto station at 3 pm and took a Tozan train to Gora Station, which is the nearest station from the hotel ( according tourist information staff ) But there are no buses and tax at Gora Station to hotel and I called the hotel for asking how to get there. staff said just wait or call taxi company, so we did, and we were waiting for taxi about 1 hour. It was difficult and tough to get to the hotel without a car. ( even I'm Japanese, and could call 3 taxi companies). also, only 1 local restaurant nearby was open on Wednesday at 7 pm.

The property was clean and the room was spacious.

It is really far from the train station.

The breakfast buffet was delicious and we liked how many different food options was provided. We feel the wide variety of food that was prepared provided an opportunity to satisfy all patrons who attended the breakfast buffet. We felt the water used for the hot springs was hot and relaxing and it was nice to also have the opportunity to use a sauna at the hotel as well. From the amenities provide on site, we feel this hotel provided a wide range of things for people to do to enhance their stay, like the arcade available and the access to massage service.

Just a suggestion: The access into the bathroom might be difficult for people with mobility issues. By having a small step at the entrance this could create certain problems for people with mobility issues trying to get in and out of the bathroom.

Location , support, connectivity And staff I would like to mention about yashini and Helpdesk person support they helped us regarding wifi resolution and book my ticket regarding cruise

Food. As I am vegetarian. So we should have some food categories for vegetarians too. Except fruits I took dinner package for one night and me and my lovely wife got very disappointed when we look at food option . But there was one person who help us to get fry’s . But as your reputation is quite good so you guys should keep vegetarian food too .

Breakfast was great, rooms were clean comfortable and quiet. Onsen area was fantastic. Used laundry facilities as well. Delicious breakfast with many options highly recommend.

A little out of the way from Hakone Yamato station/odwara station and we made the mistake of leaving our bags at check out, I recommend either sending them to the station or your next location but that is our mistake not the property’s the staff were fantastic.

Very pretty hotel. Lovely rooms, LOVED that we got to wear traditional yukatas and slippers. Onsen was free and nice also.

You have to go naked in the onsen … but that is culturally accepted. Just a warning.

Dinner is amazing, especially the crab. Most of the staff are friendly

Beautiful onsen resort. Big family room, lots of space with 2 western beds+2/3 tatami beds. The onsen bath is amazing. Nice staff and comfy lobby. Breakfast buffet was also great, with both western and japanese options. Plenty of parking spots for guests
