We had an incredible view of the bay from our room and balcony--watching the sunset was beautiful. The room was huge, spotless and well furnished. The whole hotel seemed to have been recently decorated and furnished and very attractive. Breakfast was excellent and the one evening meal we had was very good. There is a little coffee bar open all day and if no staff around can tell reception what you had. It is an pleasant walk through the garden to the beach though as it is on a hill may be more difficult for anyone with walking difficulties. Best of all-the lovely staff group, everyone friendly, helpful and kind. So lucky to have found it.

Only comment--bed was firmer than we like, but that is personal choice.

THE VIEW IS BREATHTAKING, SLEEPING WITH THE SOUND OF THE WAVES IS PRICELESS

BREAKFAST NEEDS A PROPER MANAGER TO RUN IT, THE TEAM IS VERY KIND BUT CLEARLY THERE IS AN ABSENCE OF GUIDANCE. REFILLING THE BUFFET, CLEARING AND RELAYING NEED A DIFFERENT GEAR. BUFFET IS QUITE DECENT, NOT IN LINE WITH THE ISLAND, WITH THE PLACE, WITH THE HOTEL. NOT HAVING A FRESH BREWED COFFEE/CAPPUCCINO, BUT JUST A MACHINE, MOVE THIS BREAKFAST TO A BUDGET HOTEL RATHER THAN A PRICELESS VIEW BOUTIQUE ONE.

The hotel was stunning with stunning views. The staff couldn’t have been anymore helpful and welcoming, the food was very good too. Our room (S1A) was fantastic with the most amazing view over the St Brelades bay. Everything was exceptionally clean, and the beds were made daily with new towels and tea/coffee etc replenished everyday. Jason (the manager), the restaurant manager and all the staff are a huge credit

The view across the bay was very lovely. The hotel was quiet with direct access to the beach and a small coffee & cake kiosk. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The carvery was excellent. Good breakfast. Very comfortable bed and an excellent shower.

Whilst breakfast was fine, the coffee tended to be on the weak side.

Great location. View is extraordinary. The staff was very helpful especially Anar the receptionist who went beyond and above to help and advised since we arrived until we left. I will definitely recommend this hotel.

Nothing negative to say about the hotel.

The hotel has really great views of St Brelade’s Bay from the balcony rooms, terrace and dining room. A superb vista of the whole sweeping beach, cliffs and other hotels in the distance. The room was large and very comfortable with good beds, towels and linens. Our top floor room was lovely and quiet (no traffic noise). The dual shower heads were nice and powerful with a very spacious walk-in shower, (no problems at all with water pressure). We had a small fridge which was an unexpected and welcome bonus. It was good value for money, especially in Jersey which can be expensive. You can walk directly to the beach without having to go on any roads but there are a lot of steps. The bus stop is opposite the car park and is a good alternative to using a car to see St Helier and the southern part of the island. There was a well-presented selection of cereal and fruit at breakfast. The full English breakfast was very well cooked to order. There was great unlimited, serve yourself coffee, tea and toast. Thank you to Jason the lovely manager who allowed me to play the lovely grand piano one afternoon. I enjoyed it very much. We also enjoyed listening to the visiting piano player with a complementary glass of wine one evening. We had a lovely relaxing stay and would love to return to the hotel when the impending refurbishment is completed (assuming the roof is properly insulated). The staff were very helpful and everything was immaculate. Overall – a great holiday.

Our top floor room had a flat roof which got very hot in the heatwave we had during our stay. This made it difficult to sleep due to the heat even with the windows open. We found having 2 fans on, one to blow hot air out and the other to blow cool air in at floor level worked quite well but we had to wear eye masks to block out the light and earplugs to block out seagull noise once it got light as the windows and balcony door were open. On cooler days it was fine though.

The view was fabulous - the staff could not have done more to make our stay as we had hoped. Breakfast was exceptionally good - fresh fruit salads, grapefruits, peaches, different flavour yogurts, pain au chocolates, croissants, various jams, marmalades, lots of cereals, different milks available - oat, almond etc - endless cups of good quality coffee or tea (all different varieties) fruit juices, and then an excellent choice of hot breakfasts, full English, Porridge,( Omelettes with your choice of fillings£1.25 extra) different types of bread to toast - butter etc..... 5 star breakfast and very obliging staff!

We didn't like the "office like " plasticky vertical blinds in our first room - they had a rather unpleasant smell. We were able to change rooms and had very nice black out curtains at both windows and a super terrace and view. The terrace also had a nice round table and two chairs to relax on.

I love the Biarritz hotel and have stayed there many times over the last 15 years. Being a single traveller I always found the hotel very friendly and have made many friends over the years who I meet there regularly during the season. The food in the restaurant is of excellent quality. The choices this year were somewhat less than previous years and it would have been nice to have had some more choices of desserts e.g. apple pie, cheesecake etc. The service for my main course was a little slow on a couple of nights but worth waiting for. The specials board was good, but again perhaps different choices each day over a week's stay. The manager and staff are great and nothing is too much trouble. Always very pleasant and ready to help. I would particularly like a special thank you to Sue who helped me so much when I lost my bankers card. I had a very enjoyable stay and look forward to my next visit. A big thank you to you all.

Bright airy rooms and public areas. Lovely staff. Beautiful views. We had room service twice and the food was very good and was good value for a hotel. Drinks from the bar were also reasonable compared to other places we have visited.

I messaged ahead to check what toiletries were offered as we were travelling with hand luggage only. I as advised they have shampoo, conditioner, but no shower gel. They only had shower get. They did kindly get me some shampoo. Apparently only the premium rooms have it. We were in a Sea View with balcony. The breakfast has a lot of supplements on the menu. I can understand smoked salmon, but charging a supplement for porridge I thought was a bit steep. Not ideal location if you have walking difficulties. On the hill to come from the beach, but then you wouldn't get those views. Our balcony overlooked the terrace, so not very private.

Closeness to the beach. Fantastic view Comfy rooms and good breakfast

The fact that I emailed ahead to ask for soya milk but had to go to waitrose and purchase myself. I'm coeliac and dairy intolerant and think staff need to understand a little better
