Location was great for beach and swimming while also not being far from main town - bus service runs from right outside hotel which made it easy to get about. Breakfast was lovely and staff all friendly. We will absolutely be back again and stay at this hotel.

For what we paid everything was as expected i.e small pool good for kids but sea is across the road so nothing to criticise. Only thing that could of been handy was a small fridge in room and we had to borrow the iron from the hotel for a linen shirt and it was arguably the worst iron iv ever used 🤣 but not really that big an issue!

The location is excellent. Near to the beach and buses to town within walking distance. Other eating places nearby. The room had a comfy bed, plenty of storage and great sea view. Bathroom small but adequate. It is on a busy road which may bother some people. Breakfast had a good choice, well cooked. The continental was a little sparse and some items, such as the preserves and fruit option, could have been of a better quality. Restaurant food good with varied choice. Sandwiches also available at the bar. Perhaps think about USB sockets. No problem with wi-fi.

There was no full length mirror in the room and the only mirror on the wall was very small and positioned wrongly. Not very female friendly. Nowhere to put shower gels or hair products in the shower…had to put them on the floor. I realise the weather was extreme but air-con is needed if only in the bars and restaurants. Saying that the room kept cool with a fan.

Lovely hotel with extremely friendly staff and good facilities. We arrived quite late with our family and were made to feel extremely welcome right away by the helpful staff, and they managed to sneak us in for dinner just before the kitchen closed. The room was spacious and well set up for a family. The hotel's restaurant is really excellent and we enjoyed a few meals there, and the breakfast is also great with a good selection of options. The hotel is right beside the beach which has a lido area and small cafe, and it's only about 10 minutes walk into the town centre which has a lot of really nice restaurants and shopping. Would recommend the Friday evening buffet at the hotel - we really enjoyed it. Excellent hotel for families and would stay again.

Nothing we really enjoyed our stay!

Conveniently located a short bus ride away from the centre of St Helier on the coast overlooking the sea-bathing pool and lido. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The included self-service breakfast was excellent with a good choice of food. Our double room was spacious and very comfortable. Situated at the back of the hotel it was quiet which we preferred over a sea view next to the main road. Several different styles of restaurant/pub within a short walk if not on a half-board basis at the hotel.

There was no lift to the upper floor. However, a staff member quickly offered to take our large suitcase upstairs which we much appreciated.

Our L-shaped family room had pleasant decor and was plenty spacious with a large comfortable double bed and a single bed at the other end. Our view was of the swimming pool and up Cleveland Rd - perfectly fine. The bathroom was large, modern build and boasted substantial sink and bath/shower; we had everything we would need. Breakfast was buffet style; each morning of consistent good quality items to choose from cereals, fruits and expected continental items to cooked full English bacon & eggs plus a number of coffees and fresh juices for self-service.

For the first 2 mornings we were also able to order an omelette to the table, however this service was retracted during the last 2 sittings, apparently due to such orders taking too long to fulfil by the kitchen, yet offered scrambled egg or poached egg alternatives.

Beds were incredibly comfortable, rooms were great with private bathroom and TV. Kept very clean, including bathroom towels and bedding. Lovely facilities, breakfast was fab and came with lots of options. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly at all times. Superb location, not far from main town of St. Helier with a beach right on your doorstep. Great value for money. Would definitely stay again in the near future.

The window view wasn't great as just got part of the hotel dining hall skylight, but booked quite late into our stay with only budget rooms available, so was expected. Faced a little trouble with the temperature setting in the shower, as would only run rather hot and couldn't change it to a cooler temperature. Other than that, no complaints whatsoever.

Hotel was clean most staff friendly and food good

It is very pricy for a 3 Star hotel The Head Waiter/Restaurant Mamager requires a personality course We had not booked dinner for the last night and was told they were too busy to fit us in. There was a group of approx 24 in the room who were being served plus 1 other couple If this is busy I don't know how you would cope with a large crowd Maybe it was due to the fact that we did not drink alcohol and there is no profit in a jug of water. Turned out he did us a favour. We went 100 yards down the street and another 20 yards up Roseville Street there is an excellent restaurant Roseville Bistro. Excellent food and staff the most pleasant we met all holiday. Couldn't do enough for you. Customer Service of the highest degree

We liked the fact it was a heritage hotel . Quirky but it appealed to us. The food was good staff were very helpful. Clean and rooms serviced regularly

Our room ( number 1) was problematic . Located on the side of the hotel with only a view of a walkway roof. No air con (not expected ) and warm weather. Kitchen industrial extractor fan was adjacent to window it was on and off all night noisy when window open. Hotel gave us a fan but inability open window to avoid the noise made the room hot and airless even with the fan. We were unable to move as hotel was full. We only paid for double budget but would advise visitors to upgrade. This room (No1) although clean well kept etc was in a poor location & disappointing for the reasons stated above. Despite this Overall we did like the hotel very much despite the room issues tand had a pleasant stay.

Location opposite the beach and near to city centre. Several rooms/ lounge areas to sit or dine, looking over the sea.

The outdoor pool was small and the many steps and ledges on its interior made it difficult to do many strokes - but it was good for a splash and as a children’s pool. Air conditioning in the room would have been good, as I was reluctant to leave windows open during the night when located on the ground floor.
