Breakfast was very good. Bed was comfortable. View was amazing. Bar area was lovely. Most of the staff had great attitudes. Bath towels were a great size.

No fridge in the room. The bathroom room 115 had a faint smell of drains. The Sunday roast was very poor - the meat was excellent but the veg looked like they had been cooked earlier in the day and had been reheated. They weren’t hot and the Yorkshire puddings were inedible. We asked for new ones but the second lot were the same. Again looked like they had been reheated. Perhaps eating at 630 pm was not such a good idea.

we had 3 balcony rooms with exceptional views of St Aubin Bay but it’s the staff are what make this hotel. Everyone we met was enthusiastic, genuinely cared about guest satisfaction and made our experience so memorable, particularly Victoria, Gina, Ben and Dave who we spoke with the most during our 2 night stay.

We disliked nothing but a few comments of constructive criticism- 1) the restaurant food could have been hotter, flavour was delicious though 2) not enough serving utensils with continental breakfast- using the same tongs for cheese and cold meats is not acceptable and 3) the bathroom ventilation is rather unique as on a central timer which the hotel controls, sometimes not on when took a shower which means an awful lot of condensation in the bathroom.

it’s position overlooking the bay and beach was spectacular. It was a little out of St Helier but there were plenty of buses going all over the island.

If you didn’t have a car, the only way to get to street level and back was via a great deal of steps. From street level to our room on the second floor was 97 steps. We did not know that and my sister is 82 and struggled with the situation. However, we managed. No elevator, just more stairs. The hotel was was lovely but a little dated. No fridge in the room. No a/c or fans. Our room got full afternoon sun and was hot and stuffy.

Our family (6 people/ 4 rooms) were all given a free upgrade to sea view accommodation with a balcony, which was unexpected and very much appreciated. It was a great view and the bay is lit at night. The breakfasts were wonderful with continental choices and full cooked options. We found all the staff very helpful and they smiled and had time for us! if eating lunch or dinner in the restaurant the choice was good, albeit the meals were not the cheapest but the food was quality and well presented. Bar meals were also available.

The drive up the hill to the hotel has a very sharp 'u' turn onto the hotel road and conversely onto the main road, near a corner going out if going down the hill which felt hazardous; it is possible to drive straight onto the main road and up the hill which was easier, if that was the direction of travel..

Fantastic views from our room and dining areas

The very steep hill and steps from the beach to the hotel

Hotel Cristina is set on a hill with a beautiful view of the St Aubin's Bay which was lovely to wake up and be able to see from outside the window. There is also an outdoor pool which we wish was heated because it was cold. The food was exceptional and priced well, for dinner we tried the fish and chips which you could tell it was freshly caught that day. The breakfast had a wide range of selection including drinks such as apple and orange juice, you could also request hot drinks. The hotel also has a back pathway for pedestrians to be able to walk down to the main road and access public transport or the beach and other activities which was thoughtful as it wouldn't be safe to walk the path cars travel to come up to the hotel.

The room was cosy and the arrangement was put together nicely, my only issue was the bathroom which we felt needed some extra TLC.

First return visit for a few years, but the hotel was as wonderful as ever. The situation and views are amazing and the staff simply couldn't be friendlier, even those that are not 'customer facing' such as the cleaners. We ate in the restaurant every evening and the meals were, without exception, attractive and tasty.

The only damp squib was the shower..... It was under powered, no matter how much you fiddled with the controls.

The views are spectacular from the terrace on a sunny day! We were fortunate to get views from our rooms as well. Staff are warm welcoming and friendly. The rooms are adequate my only negative is they are on the small side and they have crammed too much furniture in them.

Negatives - No AC in the rooms and also there is no lift!

A beautiful hotel set above the bay with panoramic sea views from the terrace, bar and dining room. Most rooms also benefit from a view of the sea, over the rooftops and trees. Parking is close to the hotel and there is a path down to the coast road and thence the beach (a little steep in places). What made the hotel for us was the staff. Reception, dining room, bar and maid service, all benefited from professional happy staff that made it clear that you should enjoy the hotel experience. There were many small touches to illustrate that customers were valued and appreciated. Well done team!

Our room safe did not work. The wedding party music 'bass notes' on Saturday night were a little intrusive after 11pm

Staff were all extraordinarily helpful and seemed to genuinely enjoy their jobs. Excellent view from the dining area. Tasty and reasonably priced afternoon tea.

This property doesn’t have air conditioning. At this time of year that wasn’t an issue but it could be a problem for some during summer.
