Excellent location, close to the bus station and harbour. Extremely quiet room overlooking the very small atrium with good comfortable beds, and bathroom with separate shower and bath. Friendly helpful staff throughout. Swift room service with excellent food from Cafe Zephyr, one of the hotel’s restaurants. Good choice at breakfast buffet.

Little details could have been better. For example, when we arrived some of the toiletries in our room were already half-used by the previous guests. At breakfast, staff hovered a lot and cleared away our plates almost as we were taking our last bite (same with juice glasses etc); made us feel rushed. No wine or champagne in mini bar so we had to go down to one of the bars, buy it there, then transport it back up to the room. Not a huge deal but a little bit annoying.

Room was spacious & clean. shower was fantastic, very powerful spray, but leaked under door, so had to put towels down, but had plenty.

For me who doesnt eat fry up's ever, i was surprised when i asked the chef do they have porridge, he apologised & said no, i said ok any oats you have, i can make it myself, said didnt have any oats in the hotel!! so after couple of mornings with eggs & toast, found somewhere that did porridge. The chef / Hotel need to see whats trending, as Porridge is very popular now, if you dont eat fry up's!!! i can even get it in 4/5* hotels abroad. Thanks.

Staff excellent - nice welcome, we were early, but they held onto our luggage, gave us a realistic time when te room would be free, and our luggage was in the room when we returned. Breakfast was excellent too, and staff extremely polite and attentive. Very comfortable bed. Location is excellent, especially as Jersey bus service only really works for you if you are in St Helier. Spa very nice, and uncrowded.

The bathroom was probably a bit tired and small, and the aircon wasn't working (there was a temporary one in the room, but we didn't need it). Bigger room would have been much more expensive. No treatment slots available.

The location was fantastic. Breakfast was very good. The rooms were nice and quiet despite being right above the outdoor restaurant/bar. I am sure that in high season the hotel has great facilities

The dining staff were sullen and rude. cleaning for a four star hotel was below par - we had to ask each day for cleaning and then our sheets were not changed and towels were only changed when asked - the sink/ toilet etc was not cleaned. Rooms were a little dated and I was surprised that only 1 coffee pod per person was supplied - extra cost $2.50 for each pod!! - not the usually 4 star amenities. Most of the restaurants/ bars advertised on the website were shut!!

Location excellent. Breakfast good but I have stayed in places with more selection especially if looking for alternative to fry. Staff were friendly and very helpful. There was a good atmosphere in the hotel and the on street bar and restaurant lent itself to this as it was well patronised by residents and non residents alike.

Room was small and dark for 4 star price. Problem with one of the rooms adjacent to mine as I could hear the TV from that room but not from room on other side.. I had to ask the hotel to intervene on more than one occasion. Bathroom was impeccably clean but so small that I knocked phone off wall almost every time I turned around near sink and WC. Otherwise a very pleasant stay.

Fab staff great breakfast very clean and comfortable spa was great 👍

First room we booked was a small silver room and for nearly £200a night was not up to standard tiny stuffy room you could see the stuffing inside the back of the chair and there were loose wires hanging out of the phone in the bathroom this was room 432 tiny little window facing a wall my heart just sank however I went to reception and asked to be moved at an extra cost was moved to a gold deluxe which was a million times better and worth paying the extra for I would recommend this hotel but only stay in the new part the old bit is awful 😖

The accommodation is very central. The rooms large & comfortable

After check-in at the airport, our flight was cancelled, same day, a few hours before arrival. We promptly advised the Hotel, advising the circumstances. We made a new booking & asked that our pre-paid amount be credited to a new booking, the next day. The Hotel refused and we had to pay twice. We thought this was unreasonable & shortsighted. We understand that in February it is very common for flights to be cancelled due to bad weather.

Restaurant and bar service is very good although a little expensive! However the hotel is in a central location and is extremely popular with locals. Always busy throughout the year when I’ve stayed there on numerous occasions.

Breakfast was typical hot buffet which I’m not so keen on. I would prefer table service and cooked to order as it is in St Brelade Bay Hotel. Also we were asked to leave the breakfast room immediately after 10am despite still drinking our tea. I would have appreciated being left alone a little longer whilst they cleared the other tables as they had plenty to do. I felt this was unnecessary.

The hotel staff are just great. Nothing is too much trouble. Simple things, like opening doors for you, something many hotels have forgotten about. Great breakfast, sets you up for the whole day!

We were in the 'old' building where the rooms overlook a side street with junk food shops open till 2 am, with associated noise. Also the room was quite tight and the double bed the most 'compact' double bed I've slept in. On a previous stay we had a room in the new building and will request a room there next time, even if it costs more.

The location is excellent, central town and near the bus station, the good indoor/outside bar/restaurant vibe, the breakfast room and the egg man. All good The lunch was excellent, Thai crab cakes and roast cauliflower in almond salsa very tasty

The service was a average. For instance they couldn't warm oat milk for the coffee at breakfast, then someone could. The same happened at lunch outside on the terrace, "we can warm cows milk but not oat milk" We gave up. The service outside was also quite frustrating, after our main course at lunch, it took 15 minutes or so to find out if we wanted anything else. And that took some hand waving. They need to train their staff a bit better. The grill room was very noisy with a night club opening onto the salon. We had booked a table for 2 and they gave us a table opposite the night club. We found out after that there was a quiet part of the restaurant round the corner in the "cabin". Both in our 70s, that would have been a little more thoughtful.
