The room was very comfortable and the room facilities excellent. The breakfast was excellent value.

The location is quite a way out of town. Buy a local - not tourist - bus pass and take the no.77 into town. Easy and runs often. Quite a hill if walking back.

The room was excellent, the staff superb and breakfast left nothing to be desired.

We should have stayed longer.

Fancy looking Hotel with giant rooms which make you wanna go there. Yet, it has major flaws which make me never wanna go back. Euro millons blown on this project as you will see in the advertising pictures. Fancy as it gets, but it was zero money on soundproofing.

It is one thing that the Hotel far from the major attractions, and defenetly need to take public transportations to the center. I can live with that. However, I do not wanna in this type of fancy hotel hear if my neighbours taking shover, flushing the toilet nor if they fart. But I did. I guess most people would like that. All these noise issues were brought up, yet all they said they were awere of that. How cool answer! :-D

Spacious rooms, very comfortable beds and pillows in our triple family room. Very friendly staff and really great food for evening and for breakfast - in the evening we had Poke and it was excellent with some really good desserts - really yummy and not just the usual chocolate brownie fare! Breakfast was buffet and really very varied and great quality. Good location on a hill with a walk down into the centre (less than 1 km), easy to find the hotel with very spacious underground parking and also dog friendly.

Only 1 criticism. The wifi in our room didn't work at all and you had to go to reception area to get connected. I have found this in a few hotels, where reception staff look surprised that wifi doesn't work in your room and then show you how it works in the reception area. In this age, not enabling people to get connected in their room is short sighted in my view and certainly not encouraging for business travellers.

We arrived on an early flight from the UK and got to the hotel around 11am on a Sunday morning. Our early arrival wasn't a problem for the excellent staff on reception. They were able to offer us one room immediately so we could leave our luggage. They also gave us a map, explained the buses and trams, told us where to find the old town (15 minutes walk) and the Guggenheim Museum, and other useful information. The hotel is fairly new and modern. Our room on the third floor was large and with a view over the valley.

We tried the hotel's breakfast on our second day and it wasn't the best we had had. Guests seemed to be having lots of problems with the coffee machines, not a problem for me because I drink tea in the morning. It can seem to be a long way to walk to get into the city (and walking back to the hotel is uphill!) but then there are some good places to have breakfast on the way. A hotel closer to all the action would have cost us a lot more.

Rooms were airy and spacious with a generous sized bed and great air conditioning. we stayed on the top floor so had an amazing view of the mountains. Great access to the 77 bus outside the hotel which takes you to the centre. Breakfast was pretty special, with lots of choice to cater for all and the variety meant you could mix it up a bit each day! Staff were warm, welcoming and helpful, we’d love to come back!

the only issue would be the location being up a hill which could be an accessibility problem for people travelling by foot or if the bus was to be missed, the reception of the hotel is very warm, it would be more comfortable with AC

This hotel exceeded our expectations. Parking was available (at a daily cost) and there was a bus into the centre of Bilbao from in front of the hotel. We had a lovely bedroom with a lovely view and the buffet breakfast was one of the best we have ever seen with a wide range of both hot and cold food being replenished regularly. In the entrance hall complimentary cold drinks and fruit were available. What however made the hotel ultra-special was that they had noted my husband's date of birth from his passport on arrival. Unexpectedly on his birthday staff arrived during breakfast with a birthday cake and candle accompanied by the singing of Happy Birthday. A wonderful hotel with wonderful staff.

Nothing. In our opinion everything was above perfect.

Beautiful property, great secure parking. Walking distance of old town. Lovely Decor.

Long wait to check in. Despite completing all the pre-check in tasks and downloading the app for the room key, if other guests have not done this you have to wait for every member in their group to do this. I got stuck 2 behind family’s of 4 and had to wait 15 minutes to check in. They should have one check in area for people who have completed the pre-check in tasks and another for those who haven’t.

Absolutely best breakfast I can remember, even including in the comparison 5-star hotels. Even had honeycomb! Large multilevel garage conveniently located under the hotel with optical recognition of the plate that opens the passage automatically. Not at the absolute center of town, still near the roads with easy access out. Bus stop at the door, else if you walk out and to the left, you'll be at the Old Center (Casco Viejo) in 7-10 minutes, depending on your pace. 30-40 minutes to the Guggenheim Museum. Places for kids to play at lobby and at the restaurant.

We paid a small extra for a better room because we arrived early and ours was not available yet. But even in this superior room we did not have a customary and very welcomed amenity: a courtesy bottle of water on arrival! Air conditioning control did not show set temperature, only "hotter" or "cooler". Shower container of shampoo was practically exhausted and was not refilled next day. TV control was beautifully designed for minimum buttons and in consequence I felt I would need a course on how to use it- I never cared to learn and used the TV mostly for YouTube. Still, the hotel was so good that these minor displeasures did not entail a lesser rating.

- The staff was amazing and really helpful, providing information not only about the hotel, but also about sightseeing in the area and public transport system. - Room was spacious and the bed was perfectly comfy and big. - Gym was ok, had all the basic equipment. - I have never seen such a wide buffet choice at breakfast, there was just so much variety plus a lot of healthy options which is quite unusual and highly appreciated! - Checkout time is 12pm - The hotel is located just a brisk 15 minute walk from Casco Viejo, so it has a good location for when you don’t have a car. A bus stop is also right in front of the hotel. -Overall a decent experience
