Great location!! Right on the water and right in the middle of all the action. Most of the shops and restaurants that aren't right outside the door are just a short walk away. Roof-top bar is spectacular!

Roof-top bar was not open for sunset. I was glad I had an ocean -view room. Nightly entertainment was quite loud and directly below my balcony. It was nice to listen to but no one is going to bed early.

The hotel is beautiful, our room had lateral views of the sea. The room was spacious and airy, nicely decorated, small balcony on the side. Breakfast is absolutelly excellent, good selection and service. The rooftop swimming pool is worth visiting. Nice staff.

In the room, the beds and pillows were uncomfortable. The hotel is right on the promenade, lots of bars with very loud music. The hotel also has a nice large side terrace with sun lounges and beds-which is always empty, as the very loud music from the nearby bar makes it impossible to relax.

The beds were not very comfortable. Possibly plastic covering on the mattress was noisy , The pillows were too soft and because the beds were on wheels the pillows kept falling down the back of the bed. I asked for and received more pillows but no one resolved the wheels. I didnt get much sleep. And the beautifully prepared food ,both at breakfast and dinner was mostly cold .

The position of the hotel, the breakfast, the view and the pool view was amazing,

No Cava in the room was a disappointment. We we a party of 5 with two rooms and were given a voucher for free drinks for 3 people ( a bit tight I thought) charged for using the safe for one night! And the pool closing at 6pm was far too early when the sun doesn't set till 7 30pm. The attendant was so enthusiastic to get people out for 6pm everyone was trying to dry as they were being herded like sheep out of the pool area to drip water all over the lifts and hotel. Plus no signs to say it closed at 6pm so was a shock to everyone swimming.

Nice hotel in an amazing location by the ocean. Great service, lovely rooftop pool, lots of places to eat around. Maybe it was seasonal thing, but all other guests were senior age. I think it’s important to understand when choosing the hotel.

Some of the staff (specifically on reception) were having difficulties speaking English.

Breakfast was huge. Very good, too much choice. 😃 With view on the ocean, so beautiful. And super kind and enthusiastic staff. The staff everywhere was simply awesome. The room, the view, pool area, all just great! Whomever wants to visit Tenerife, should book at the hotel Vallemar.

The only thing I can imagine that would not be practical for everyone is the beds on wheels. For me personally it was hilarious, but not everyone might think so..

Great location, close to nice restaurant and shopping areas, with a view over the Atlantic. The rooftop area is very nice, with lots of seating areas and shade to enjoy the pool. The staff are wonderful - very helpful and accommodating, despite a number of last minute changes to our booking. especially the reception staff were deserving of praise.

The decor is a bit dated.

The room was good only down side was the absence of British TV channels BBC or Sky would have been good to watch Breakfast food was excellent as was dinner and the pool area was very clean and tidy and they had a lifeguard on duty too. All in all, a very nice hotel to stay at. Only one other small complaint I required a PC to fill in my locator form and print it off and the hotel has no guest PC but they did kindly arrange for me to use the vegas hotel next door.

This hotel is in the perfect location right on the boardwalk. walking distance to everything. Rooms were nice but on the smaller side. hotel has a lot of amenities and staff was super helpful with everything. even helping us get setup for COVID tests to travel out. also has a parking garage which there is not much parking in the area

hard to find initially as there is no road directly to the front of the hotel. you have to walk down the boardwalk but they do let u pull up the small street to drop your bags. bathrooms were very small, could barely turn around in the shower. parking garage was also very tight. do not recommend a big car there

The hotel's location and roof top pool are fabulous! Although we only had a standard room it was very spacious with an excellent balcony.

Car parking facilities although to be fair it's good that an hotel in Puerto de la Cruz has any access to parking!
