Nice location, not far from the beach and shopping. We picked this hotel as our second stay after spending some time in the south, keeping busy with all kinds of activities. Our main goal in Puerto de la Cruz was really to kick back and relax and I feel like this hotel was a great choice to do this. We were happy with the food. My niece had a great time swimming and jumping in the pool. We had a big room with a balcony, with a nice view of the ocean.

We were aware of the 12:00pm check-out time and were prepared to leave on time. There was no need for the cleaning lady to start banging on the door at 9:30 to let us know about it, and when we didn't answer after a few knocks, to let herself into the room. I was half-naked, in the middle of getting dressed and could not answer the door right away. I had a very good impression of the staff up until this point. If you want to make sure your guests know about the check-out time, maybe try using the phone or make it clear upon checking in. (As I said, we were aware - at 9:30 though, we still had plenty of time to leave the room.)

The location is excellent for everything you might plan for North/West Tenerife. Even in town, everything is close - supermarkets, the old town, the beach, restaurants, parking. Friendly and kind staff, clean rooms and restaurant, fresh food.

I don’t know if this is how it works, or if there was an issue, but the elevators were working very very bad. The waiting time is huge and only one out of three was working most of the time. Luckily, we were staying at the 4th floor, so we could easily use the stairs. Also, there is no fridge on the room, or any other place where you could keep your drinks cold. It would have been very helpful, considering that we were hiking or traveling mostly every day, so we really needed cold water.

The fire alarm went off at 04.30 in the morning Our nearest escape route was down the fire escape on the outside of the building, to our horror it was in darkness ( extremely dangerous) after we had traveled down three floors the alarm stopped,I banged on a door and lucky a kind lady let us in. There wasn't one member of staff around to update guests as to what was happening,we were left to think that it had been a false alarm! No information from any member of staff,very disappointing for a large hotel. I was left wondering what health and safety rules if any are in place.

Location was great. Room was a very good size I'd you go for the superior room. Staff were helpful and friendly. Rooms were cleaned everyday. Fresh made pancakes or eggs or omelette were really good at breakfast.

Room key randomly stopped working so had to go to reception a couple of times to sort out. Apparently, if you put it in your bag and it's near your mobile device, it loses sync or something like that. Breakfast was just "OK" but I recommend going for pancake or fried egg or an omelette.

Great staff from the Spa to Reception. We had a great room overlooking the sea. It was my birthday and they gave me a surprise bottle of Champagne and Chocolates along with a lovely hand written note. Location is great and there is a great casual restaurant/Bar accross the road

Bar service was slow even though it wasn't busy. We were left waiting one night so we evevtually left as I felt I was being ignored and we went to a Cafe/Bar accross the road. The Barman should have acknowleged us and not dissappeared.

We were on a holiday treat for my kid's 16th birthday and the hotel were lovely and organised for us to have a great view and left some chocolates and drinks in our room on arrival. Really nice touch. Although the rooms are a little tired they are spotlessly clean, the location is unbeatable and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. Excellent buffet breakfast, happy to help with travel recommendations, very good value.

The evening dinner buffet was definitely lacking for vegetarians.

Staff was extremely friendly, fast and always helpful. Breakfast and dinner buffet offered a wide variety of different Spanish dishes. The location of the hotel is great: in the middle of Puerto de la Cruz with walking distance to public transportation.

Considering a 4-star hotel, the rooms would need some refurbishement, but rooms are very clean.

The breakfast was perfect couldn't have asked for more. The staff and the food were amazing! The location was ideal across from playa martianez and the room was very comfortable.

The lifts weren't always working properly. We had to climb 14 flights of stairs each day. But I suppose it did us good after a big breakfast!

Nice hotel, good location, beautiful ocean view from our room, good breakfast.

We've stayed for two nights and came by the car, but at the reception said that they were fully booked and they haven't a parkplace. To reserve a parkplace there is no possible. Around hotel to find a parkplace is mission impossible. So we parked at the shopping mall parking near hotel, but it was expensive 1.5€ for 1 hour.
