We were upgraded from a Studio to a One Bedroom Apartment. Very pleased with the size and outlook from the balcony. King bed was extremely comfortable. Good sound insulation, didn't hear any adjoining noises. The apartment was absolutely spotless and the full kitchen had everything that we could need. Liked the basement carparking for security. Above all I liked that there was always someone on Reception. They always greeted us as we went through the lobby and were very helpful. Not always found lately in Australian hotels.

Adina is very well located - surrounded by bars, restaurants & cafes. Its always my “go to” accom when visiting Wollongong & have had multiple stays here. Staff are friendly & helpful. We were given a free upgrade to a 1 bedroom apartment (paid for studio) which was greatly appreciated & the room was well equipped.

Queen rather than King bed - We always have difficulty sleeping in a queen bed. There is a loud exhaust fan that continually runs in bathroom- when lights are turned on in bathroom, it gets louder. We could block sound with bathroom door shut. This is not accom where you walk in & think wow this is beautiful. They are older but refurbished, and comfortable.

We have stayed at this location at least twice before - so obviously like the property. The staff is excellent and very helpful. Also one of the few properties offering daily servicing. Cannot beat the location. A short walk to the beachfront and equally short walk to shopping and a variety of restaurants.

The parking is somewhat limited (we always found a spot but sometimes it was the only spot). Also, be very careful driving in and out of the parking as it is easy to mangle your vehicle. The room is spacious but a bit tired.

The hotel is centrally located and only a short walk to the beach so it’s easy to have the best of all possible worlds. L over leaving the car behind and walking to restaurants, to shops, massages, hairdressers and bars. we even had a morning at the art gallery. Wollongong had a surprising amount of fun things going on. We had a great time.

The rooms are a bit tired and what is sold as a 2 bedroom apartment is really just interconnected rooms. Needs a refresh.

Staff were friendly. Carpark directly underneath handy. Room was a good size, bed was comfy.

Not sure if all rooms are able to be interconnecting, but ours had the door to do so (on level 3). There was not enough insulation/sound proofing. We could hear the television most of night, as well as the guest making phone calls at all hours, one particularly intense one at 4.10am. I'm all for people doing their own thing, I would just prefer not to hear about it.

Was nice, clean and had a lot of functionality in the room. Because it was soo late at night after a event my parents and kids stayed the night in a studio and we managed to all fit due to the functionality of the room.

There was a guy staff working the sat morning and he seemed rude. Also I expected pool towels at the swimming pool but there was none unlike other Adina hotels I’ve stayed at.

spacious for a studio apartment. There was a nice little balcony too. The location was good. Close to beach and shops. The bed was nice and comfortable. Staff at checkin were lovely.

having to pay for parking, and having no alternative if unavailable was disconcerting after a long drive. You could also hear the footsteps of the people upstairs through the ceiling. No handrails in the bath/shower to support those with mobility/balance issues.

Location is good and staffs are friendly!

1. I booked two one bed apartments because there was no two bedrooms apartment available. But when I check in, they gave me one one bedroom apartment and one two bedrooms apartment. And only told me after I paid. I hope they told me before I paid so I can save some money. 2. I hope two apartments are close but I got one at level 1 and another one at level 5. 3. The extra laundry power costed $3.

The apartment was perfect for our three day visit and had everything close by so walking distance to cafes and restaurants which we took full advantage of, same goes for the sauna and pool.

wasn't a major issue but there weren't any towels readily available for the pool area , and perhaps having raw sugar as a substitute for white but that is purely my own personal preference.

as part of cleaning and preparing for the next customers, more checks on batteries should be undertaken the remotes batteries has died and the battery in the fire alarm was low and beeping whilst staff removed the battery it was never replaced so perhaps battery checking should form part of the regular checks
