I loved the location. It wasn’t in the heart of Carmel’s downtown but right around the corner which eliminated parking issues. It was clean and quiet with very little other activity around us. I loved that we had our own designated parking spot. And very good rates for the area. Absolutely would stay there again! All around a great place to stay.

I would say that the only reason I wouldn’t give it a 10/10 is just that it’s a little dated in decor/interior.

I was frustrated by the contact with the staff about parking my car on the lot before check in time, so I didn't need to drive after my wine tasting in town. They were neither helpful or friendly, nor accommodating. There might have a good reason why I could park earlier, but it definitely couldn't have been because previous guest had not checked out, brcaus I arrived long after check out time. I was more frustrated about the communication about this than the fact I couldn't park. I

Rooms are in separate tiny houses, with their own parking space. Our room was on the lower end of the resort, therefore very calm. In the room it was spacious enough, equipped with all the extras you may need during your stay (iron, heater, ventillator etc). It was clean, check in & check out easy and fast. Staff was helpful. Locationwise is a good choice, restaurants/bars are in walking distance, as well as the beach - however, be prepared for steep walks! 😉

We were satisfied with everything. Extra mirror in the room (not only in bathroom) would be nice to have!

Jay was very helpful in giving me directions and recommendations. It is a good walk down into the center of town and a hike back up. , but is managed by driving partway and parking on a side street to lessen the walk back. The rooms are individual cabin with parking places right next to each. Very clean, comfortable, quiet and nice location with trees within the premises. My passport was left behind and Jay went above and beyond to send it on to me. I would stay there again.

I enjoyed that all of the accomodation options are essentially separate little cottages, and was impressed with the number of options on the property. Also, the price is unbeatable for a hotel in carmel. The distance/time to Ocean Avenue is great for the price you pay.

The only thing I would ask the staff to look at is the security of the front door on the room I stayed in. Both of the locks were functional, however the door seemed to "move" too much while locked.

Cottage room was spacious. Bed was comfortable. It was really in a really quiet neighborhood. Front desk was friendly and helpful. Parking was right next to the room. Easy access to downtown but too far to walk. Our cottage had it's own outdoor fire pit. That was pretty cool.

The cottage needed paint upgrade inside and out. Didn't like the orange bathroom in a small space. Could have been brighter. The only two pictures on the walls were the same. Pretty boring, especially in such a nice setting.

Very spacious rooms close to downtown! We stayed with our son and he had plenty of room to crawl around. We also liked not being attached to other rooms since our son woke up a few times at night. This way we didn't have to worry as much about waking the neighbors.

Could have been a bit cleaner! The manager was also parked in the spot in front of our room which was confusing. Our card also didn't work at first, but this was quickly taken care of.

This property is in Carmel and is very affordable. The bed was comfortable and the room was reasonably sized. The wifi worked. It was nice not to have anyone over top of us in our room. They are dog friendly for a reasonable rate.

The walls were extremely thin and the parking situation was daunting. All of the spots are parallel and oddly stacked in. If the hotel was full, it could be difficult to get in or out of your spot. Rooms were not exactly stylish if that's important to you (it wasn't to us).

This place was amazing, I would definitely stay here again. the bed was super comfortable, the little cabin has its own dedicated driveway (you could probably fit 2 cars length wise at least for cabin 121 where we stayed) and we had a fireplace!!!! the thermostat for the heater was behind the TV (not obvious). it’s a half mile walk to Carmel plaza so very convenient for the Big Sur marathon pickup. staff was nice even though we checked in right before they closed the office.
