I liked being able to just go straight into my room after check in, and staff being friendly and knowledge of what the hotel offered, a sign in the bathroom informing that they carry a number of items like combs, shaving foam etc in case it was forgotten.

The breakfast was only served until 9.30, I came on a short break and felt this was too early to finish especially if someone wanted a lay in, fortunately there is a McDonald's next door which ment I didn't leave without options of food, the lay out for the bathroom is a little strange as the door used to close to prevent steam in the room is the same door to close the toilet off

I’ve never stayed in a holiday inn express but I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms were spacious & clean. We needed somewhere that was dog friendly & again this was catered for. Also, we requested 2 rooms close together which we were given. The breakfasts were really good , there was ample parking & the staff coped well during a very busy holiday weekend, nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely stay there again.

If I had one criticism, it would be that the dining area is on the small side for the size of the hotel so queuing was inevitable, however it was a bank holiday weekend so maybe not an issue normally.

Stayed for one night over the Easter weekend to visit Warwick castle and Stratford upon Avon. Prompt check in with very welcoming and efficient staff. It was well located and a comfortable room for myself and partner and teenage son. Excellent price for the location and time of the year. Breakfast was really busy however it was later on in the morning when we went and the place was fully booked so I totally understand that it was super busy. The staff handled it like pros and were organised and were really busy providing seating for everyone. Quickly cleaning up after guests so that the next guests could be seated and replenishing the breakfast items. The chap who checked us in the night before was even there in the morning dressed up as an Easter bunny which I thought was a nice touch for the little ones. I travel a lot for business so I would definitely visit again if needed accommodation in that area or I would book this hotel again with my family.

The young man we met at check in was fantastic. Very friendly, helpful and considerate of our needs and situation. I couldn't remember if I had booked breakfast, and he was happy to let us know it was complementary. When we went down for breakfast the staff were on the ball and everything was lovely. The one teeny tiny markdown from the little ones was no nutella😅 The room was spotless, shower and toilet. with free WiFi and a TV, !and 2 double beds (one of which was a pullout). For the price for 2 adults and 2 children we couldn't be happier. A note in the toilet saying if we'd forgotten toiletries they'd be happy to provide absolutely won! I've never used the Holiday Inn chain before, but this experience has made sure I do again.

The only thing we'd like on future Holiday Inn stays is a bath. I haven't yet checked to see if this is something that's available.

The guy on the desk that checked us in was brilliant (Andy I think) He sussed I was frazzled with kids and travel and even gave me a voucher for a complimentary drink! I wasn’t aware of any noise throughout the night which was nice considering it was fully booked. Food choices for breakfast were good and plentiful.

The room was very small and cramped and the beds were small. (normal double and double sofa bed which was more of a wider single bed size. The breakfast staff were not very helpful. I asked for a high chair for my two year old and pretty much got ignored.

Great room with double bed, small settee (bed settee), nice large TV, desk, and an open wardrobe. It was quiet and clean. We had free WiFi and breakfast. The staff are very lovely especially to my little boy when we checked in and at breakfast. Would stay again without a doubt if visiting Stratford upon Avon, we used it as a break in our long journey from north to south..

The only thing that happened is that the bathroom sink was a bit smelly when we ran the tap, It didn't spoil anything but may be a good idea to get some industrial stuff popped down to refresh it, they did have a deodoriser spray next to it so it helped a bit, still a great stay, thank you.

Hotel was clean. Staff on check in were very friendly though there was a bit of a queue to do so. This may just have been due to the time we arrived. The ambience was welcoming, breakfast even though we and a few others arrived about 30 minutes prior to closing, was hot and what was not available could be ordered. Good way to economise on waste.

They may have been short staffed on the morning we checked out. There was one person on the front desk who was also covering breaksfast general queries and checking people out. On leaving there was someone else and there was no line. This did not impact the overall stay.

The staff went above and beyond. Very friendly and helpful, they made us feel very welcome as soon as we walked through the door. The lady who checked us in was very friendly and bubbly, and we could just tell she loved her job, she very kindly offered us a complimentary drink. The staff were always smiling and laughing, which is a very nice thing to see now a days. Rooms were clean and fresh, and well equipped. Breakfast was lovely, with a good choice of food and drinks. Lack of car park spaces if you are arriving later in the evening. Having to pay for over night parking.

Staff were outstanding, we travel a lot and have stayed in many more expensive hotels but none where the staff were more helpful. We stayed early in the New Year so the hotel wasn’t busy but everywhere was clean, tidy and well kept. I imagine it would get crowded at say breakfast if the hotel was busy but we had no problems. It was certainly good value for money…..but see negatives.

Parking. It is disgraceful to charge for parking in a semi rural hotel which is almost inaccessible without a car. It only serves to conceal the true price of staying which of course is the intent.

Everything was great for us. We were very busy ourselves as we were at an event with the children and we were in and out of hotel numerous times during our stay. The rooms were close together which help a lot. The staff were very helpful with directions as we didn't know the area and even though the competition was only 20 minutes from hotel we had a lot of back and fort. Breakfast was great, rooms very comfortable and quite.

Car parking some evening wasn't available so we parked at McDonalds.
