Very nice boutique hotel with a lot of charm. Our room was large and looked onto the main Plaza which was beautiful. The room had everything we needed, the bed is very comfortable, the shower is great (note that it takes a VERY long time to get hot water, so plan to switch on the water on at least 5-10 minutes before you take your shower so it has time to heat up) and the high ceilings made the room very spacious and airy. Delicious breakfast on the rooftop.

2 things which will be useful for others to know: - There is a rooftop bar/restaurant and most nights a band plays live music there. The music was great and we really enjoyed it, but our room was right below and we could hear the music almost as loud as if we were upstairs. They stopped playing around 11pm when we were there so we were able to sleep ok, but that's definitely something to be aware of if you want more peace and quiet. - We had booked the room with a terrace/balcony. However, it's not actually a space you can hang out at let alone sit at. It's essentially the window that opens out onto the square which has a small landing - you can barely stand there. It's still nice but definitely not what we expected.

The rooftop is amazing They have free breakfast for guests staying in the hotel, and its really good. Loved the suit with the balcony with the view of the domingo santo plaza. The staff is super friendly.! :)

They have bands and events every now and then at the rooftop (roughly til 2 am, and the music is quite load). If you are light sleeper, this might be a problem The bathrooms are open and kind of the same room as your bedroom. So you really have no privacy when travelling with someone. I didn't particular liked the area and in particular during the night it might get a bit shady. If I would go again, I'd probably would go la Roma o Juarez.

Everything was great. Perfect location, beautiful, comfortable, and spacious rooms (very clean also), and wonderful breakfasts. The terrace at the top of the hotel is amazing. On the day of departure (because of the early flight), they kindly prepared breakfast for us outside the schedule - they served us breakfast in the room. That was very attentive. Keep up the good work!

Just a small suggestion to offer something else besides eggs (in different ways) at breakfast (e.g. butter, jam, toast, yogurt, cereal,...).

The staff was the best! From check in to when we checked out they were friendly, helpful, and very caring. My wife became sick the last couple of days of our stay and they went over and beyond in helping to find a doctor and checking in on us. The staff at the hotel restaurant was excellent as well. The breakfasts was very good with your choice of coffee, juices, pastries, a plate of delicious fruits, and your choice of eggs and meats. The location was good for the center of the city - near the Plaza Mayor and other attractions nearby. Overall the staff is what makes this hotel a hit.

While everything else about the hotel was great, the major drawback was the loud music almost every night we were there (7 days). The music went on for hours and there was no possibility of sleep while the bands played. Yes, we realized after our booking that this is a hotel that provides these nightly parties. We should have read more carefully prior to booking. Regardless, we dreaded the times between about 5-11 pm because we knew we’d be unable to rest after a long day of sight-seeing lovely Mexico City. The loud music was our only real complaint about the hotel.

I loved the location! The room I was in was great Staff was friendly..Room cost includes a really great breakfast on the rooftop restaurant overlooking Plaza Santa Domingo. I wish I could give it 5 stars, but unfortunately I had no hot water during my stay. I get why, the hot water in these old buildings start at the roof. Since I was on the first floor, all of the hot water turned cold as it got to me. Took a really cold shower the day I left. I would still highly recommend this place. but on a room above the first floor!

no hot water, after asking if I could get some. They said the “thought” they fixed it, but still had to take a cold shower before going to bed, and also in the morning before breakfast. I SO want to spend nights in this hotel, but no hot water kinda sucks. If you consider this hotel, it’s great, but be warned by me that the you’ll be taking some COLD showers. lol

Very central, close to amazing restaurants, very walkable part of CDMX, the breakfast at the hotel was amazing, nice view from balcony as well. Museums, art and shopping everywhere nearby. Oxxo attached downstairs for snacks and beer, decently access from airport. The room was very open, bright and clean with high ceilings. Very modern and well maintained. King bed 10/10 comfort. Smart TV and A/C also. The staff was very polite and helpful.

Laundry service was a disaster. Not directly the hotels fault at all, but the place they send it just covered our clothes in overpowering perfume and returned everything still covered in actual dirt... and they kept our unused soap pods. Clothes were unwearable and needed to be rewashed elsewhere. Thankfully the hotel reimbursed us, but maybe avoid this service.

We had a pleasant stay at the Santo Domingo. The bed was comfortable, shower hot, room clean. The location is just a few blocks from the central square, making it easy to get around yet a little quieter than some nearby blocks. The best part of the deal is the included breakfast upstairs. The restaurant is lovely and served as a great start to our days.

Music from the restaurant upstairs was definitely audible in our room, as others have reported. The festivities ended at a decent hour and the in-room AC did a nice job of muting the sound, however. Even as light sleepers we slept fine.

Bad was very comfortable, location wasn't that bad - about three long blocks from the Louvre in fact. Staff was super helpful and accommodating.

The rooms are a lot smaller than the pictures. and the room we were offered at first had the tightest shower I have ever seen! An overweight/ obese person would never pass through the door! Sami was super kind and offered to change our room straight away. (luckily it was available)

The staff were great. Front reception were all incredibly helpful. The staff in the restaurant (breakfast and dinner) were lovely. I wish we had noted more names but Cesar was really lovely. The breakfasts were good. We only ate in the restaurant for dinner on our last night, but that was outstanding - if we had managed to get to the restaurant before closing (8pm) earlier in the week, it would have been hard to go anywhere else! The entertainment in the restaurant was also great - there was a band on Sunday at breakfast, and the same band with a very different set on the Thursday. Both fab!

we chose to be upstairs and we’re warned it had no external windows and looked out internally, however our room was still darker than expected.

Terrace restaurant at the top! Food there is amazing (we tried breakfast and dinner), and the staff is very profesional and friendly. Very spacious and nice room on 2F.

Everyday there’s live music at the terrace bar so it gets extremely noisy. Specially our first night when we were tired and wanted to rest there was some karaoke music on after 12.00 am. It literally feel like we had the band inside our room. Also because it’s and old building windows are not insulated so you hear all the noise of vendors etc from the plaza in the morning.
