Hotel Villa Condesa

Charming courtyard, great staff, good breakfasts, small hotel. Great location

Room 9 was ok during the first part of our visit. Room 10 was smaller--shower only, cant put two people in the bathroom at the same time. Safe in Room 10 does not work. The main issue with the rooms is that they are very stuffy. Super tall ceilings, average size rooms but very limited air flow. There is a fan which is good. Air conditioning is controlled by the office-- you have to ask. Windows open but at night risk of insects and noise if you leave them open.

Casa Condesa is perfectly located in La Condesa/Roma Norte neighborhood. it is safe and rooms are clean and nicely decorated. There is a small and nice resto in place.I like they have small niches with sofa/chairs to have a drink or read. Staff was very polite and accommodating. I enjoyed my stay!

I recommend not staying in any of the rooms close to the reception and the main entry. I got one in my first night and it was impossible to sleep with the noise at people entering and checking in and out. the bathroom was so small it was extremely difficult to enter the shower. i needed an upgrade to move rooms. they were really nice in doing for a small amount. Though, it should be specified in booking the location of the room.

We had a very pleasant stay at the Hotel Boutique Villa Condesa. There is nothing we can really fault. All the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The location suited us perfectly and we were able to walk to most of our destinations, not one moment did we feel unsafe, day or night. Breakfast was delicious, fresh and options to choose from. Our room had all the facilities we've needed, comfortable bed, AC, lovely spacious bathroom with shower. If we stay in Mexico City again, we will definitely stay here again.

There is nothing to complain about.

It was a very comfortable stay, the staff are very helpful, walking distance to great restaurants, safe area, clean space, our room was huge and comfortable. They arranged a wonderful private tour for us. I definitely recommend this boutique hotel.

I love taking showers but the water pressure in our bathroom would have been nicer if it was stronger. I could hear the “chopping and chatter” below us (our suite is above the kitchen) but it’s not really a big deal since we could also smell the delicious savory scent of the dishes they were cooking. :)

I absolutely loved and enjoyed my stay at Hotel Villa Condesa. I stayed at one other hotel in the neighborhood while in Mexico City and Hotel Villa Condesa was by far my favorite. I felt looked after and I loved how clean everything was - including my room. I loved the natural light throughout the hotel, the garden and plants. I enjoyed the daily breakfasts. I recommend the guava jam (which I learned guests can purchase from the front desk.) I appreciated the front desk staff and all their help. A big thank you to KAYLEIGH, who gave detailed directions to my Uber driver (because my Spanish was very weak) on where I wanted to be dropped on my trip to Xochimilco. I also felt very safe staying here - traveling solo - and the neighborhood was excellent. It was close to the parks, dinning options and etc. It was a quiet stay for me as well. I specifically requested a quiet room. If I am ever back in Mexico City, I would certainly look to stay at Hotel Villa Condesa. I hope you will too.

I only wish the hotel was not full booked, when I was there, so I could have stayed there longer. I didn't want to leave to go to my next hotel.

good location, though preferred to be slightly closer to Parque Mexico as I liked the vibe of that area better. still, it’s a great location, very walkable. breakfast was excellent, but restaurant for other meals was less set up for meals. people worked very hard but the set up is not prepared for meals outside of breakfast would’ve loved to be able to make tea or coffee in our room

Outstanding breakfast, cheerful helpful staff, charming ambience with many cozy plant-filled nooks, comfortable king bed, quiet residential area near good restaurants and Chapultepec Park. Would definitely come again.

But, there are some shortcomings in the building. They weren't serious enough to dim our enthusiasm, but could be important to some people. No elevator, no handrail on the winding stairs. Very creaky floors in our second floor room - we were always on tiptoe and still feeling sorry for the guests below us. Small dysfunctional desk, just one extra chair, and very tight bathroom.

Beautiful hotel in an excellent location for exploring Condesa / Roma. Our room (room 12) was lovely with a little terrace. The bed was so comfy! Breakfast was good too and the breakfast service was great.

Most of the staff were great but we found one particular staff member (who we seemed to interact with the most) to be quite aloof and unhelpful. The hotel wouldn't let us check in early even by just an hour or two despite there only being a couple of other guests there. It is an old house and all the rooms open into a communal central area meaning that it can be quite noisy as you hear other guests coming and going.

Great location on peaceful street but within an easy walk of cafes, bars and restaurants. The breakfast was excellent and cooked to order. Good use was made of the available outdoor space.

It’s a shame that the style of property means there is no space even for a small plunge pool. The age of the property also means the rooms and bathrooms are quite varied in style and size-for example we had a private terrace but the bathroom was tiny. Not a problem for us but may not suit people looking for a more consistent experience.

it was super chilled and relaxing. very peaceful and nicely laid out. felt like a unique space. the food was good. nice coffee, good cocktails, authentic breakfast that kept me fuelled for a long day of walking around. staff were super nice without being too in your face.

I had what I would guess was the smallest room. it was small (no view or terrace) but had everything I needed. the bigger rooms looked more grand.
