Casa Decu

Casa Decu is a very sympathetic hotel in the most beautiful corner of Condesa near the amazing Parque Mexico. We loved our suite, which had two bathrooms - perfect when you travel with a teenager. You step out of the door and are smack in the middle of one of the best areas in CDMX in terms of restaurants, bars and shopping. The area feels safe and is quiet at night. We also very much enjoyed breakfast on the rooftop terrace. Staff was very helpful, sweet and professional. We would stay here again.

Only minor things: The hotel could provide more generous amounts of water. They could upgrade the gym with some additional equipment like heavier dumbbells. (5kg is not enough, guys) It would be perfect if the rooftop terrace would turn into a little bar at night.

Great, modern property in an awesome spot in Mexico City! Staff were super friendly and helpful. Security guard there 24/7 which was nice lovely rooftop terrace, and nice facilities! Breakfast was nice, good range of options, fresh fruit and juices as well! Laundry service was available which is awesome for long term travelers. lots of amazing cafes, restaurants and bars nearby! perfect spot for your stay to Mexico City

Bottled water only provided on the first day, no refills provided after this - think this is important for guests to have at least one refill per day. Relatively small double bed. Our room was close to door and people came in quite late which was a bit noisy. Don’t believe this would be case for all rooms

Great style—I loved the decor of Casa Decu. It was very clean and well appointed with amenities. The staff was lovely—very kind and helpful. The roof deck is beautiful, and good coffee available in the morning is a really nice treat. Our duplex suite was spacious. The location is wonderful. I’d stay again!

The shower grout was a bit moldy and could use some refreshing, but water pressure was great and hot water plentiful. A few of our light switches/bulbs flickered on and off rapidly for about 30 seconds every time you turned them on.

Beautiful property that was very well decorated. The location was excellent. As a solo traveller it was great being in a location where I felt no qualms about walking around during the evening alone. Additionally, the staff was lovely. I had only a few interactions, they were always nice and polite. Finally, although the room wasn’t heated, the was a space heater, which was sufficient.

Although the room was clean, the floor could have been better maintained. There seemed to be a lot of hair and dust. But overall clean enough. The shower was my biggest pet peeve of my entire stay. The shower curtain was way too short, so every time I took a shower the entire bathroom floor became flooded with water that had to be wiped up.

The location was fantastic, very easy to walk to incredible food and shops. Being near Parque Mexico was a highlight of our stay. We would come back without any issue. The free breakfast was great, loved having fresh fruit, fresh squeezed juice and coffee every morning.

The only small thing was that we could hear other guests fairly easily, which only meant that they could probably hear us as well. Some better soundproofing would probably help!

Great location, well maintained and always clean. It’s in a very safe and central location, easy to walk to most of the Condesa and Roma Norte locations from here. The building itself is gorgeous and there’s a nice rooftop area where you can enjoy great views.

There’s not much, but just a word of caution for people with mobility issues - this an original Art Deco building and doesn’t have an elevator. The staff at the door are all really lovely and will take your luggage up for you, but coming and going during your stay, it’s something to be mindful of. Also, the reception staff could really do with some training on professionalism and good customer service. Often feels like you’re conducting business with kids.

24/7 reception was super helpful, and the staff very friendly. Rooftop breakfast was included and exceeded my expectations (freshly made juices, fruits, cereals, artisanal jams, bread, pastries, etc.). I loved my room too, super nicely decorated and lots of thoughtful details. I even used the gym which is small but had everything I needed (elliptical, bike, yoga ball, yoga mat and small weights).

nothing, I loved everything. There's no elevator but they carried my suitcases to my room and there's only 5 floors total so it wasn't an issue.

Historic boutique hotel in a great safe and convenient location with modern clean rooms. The bed was extremely comfortable. Great shower pressure! Staff were all very pleasant and helpful with answering any questions or providing recommendations. You must have coffee and / or breakfast on the lovely rooftop terrace.

Nothing. If anyone comments negatively about the lack of ac, heat and elevator , or thin walls, then you didn't read the property description or the hundreds of reviews.. If these things are important to you, then consider a stay at a big-name high-rise chain hotel on the Reforma or in Planaco.

The room is big and clean and the staff is nice and helpful. The rooftop terrace is beautiful. The location is amazing, close to everything in Condesa and Roma Norte.

The room was a bit dark because it was on the ground floor with no exterior windows (the windows were only on courtyards). All the rooms' windows have views of other room windows through the interior courtyards so you have to remember to draw the shades.

Gorgeous boutique hotel in a fantastic location. Great roof terrace for morning or evening relaxation, including a happy hour some evenings. Room was huge and very comfortable, with a huge bed and lots of nicely designed features. Good shower with nice toiletries. Hotel was sociable on the roof and quiet in the rooms. Location was super safe and convenient. Nice gym on the rooftop too.

Staff were super slow, confused and a bit useless, even though there were 4 of them behind the desk. Bar / breakfast staff were much more helpful, with nice local recommendations.
