We Hotel Aeropuerto

We recently stayed at the We Hotel Aeropuerto in Mexico City. The hotel is adjacent to terminal 1and very convenient to travelers. You could either walk there or take the shuttle. The room was large, clean, and had a nice bed. It has all the amenities one can ask for at a reasonable rate. The jacuzzi was of nice size. The shower has 2 separate shower heads which is nice when you are showering with your wife, spouse, or significant other. The room has a safe, nice sofa, and desk to work at. The wifi is strong. There are 2 restaurants in the hotel. We ate at both and the food was exceptional. This hotel use to be the Ramada and the quality is good. Check in is at 2pm and check out is at 1pm.

The drawback to this hotel is the neighborhood is kinda sketchy so if you are afraid of your own shadow it is best to stay in at night. The staff speaks limited English so be patient if you are not fluent in Spanish. The last drawback is there is no elevator to the lobby from the underground garage. The pluses way outweigh the negatives and we will definitely stay here again.

The hotel is very clean and very comfortable. The staff is professional - not necessarily friendly.

We would like them to have flexable check in times!!! We had a lay over of 12 hours. We went to the hotel at 08:30 and was told we can only check in @ 14:00. After I said we are willing to pay more, only then, suddenly, they granted permission to check in earlier. We checked out that afternoon at 16:00 so we only used there facilities for 7 and a half hours and also forfeit breakfast the following morning. I really feel the extra payment was unnecessary because the hotel wasn’t fully booked and they could make exceptions for travellers as they are located near the airport.

They can save your luggage if your room isn’t ready yet, they got a coffee maker, iron for clothes, the rooms are quiet, there is place to save your stuff and for clothing and a comfy chair and the street view was relaxing, the toilet was clean, water was nice, it didn’t lack anything for a hotel, so kind and they got enough towels and amenities like tissues, soap, shampoo and body cream

I didn’t like that there were just two lamps for the room, next to night drawer and not in the ceilings, there’s no thermometer for the room, the lobby is a bit lower compared to the rooms and the check in was a bit slow

I was really sincerely pleased, grateful even to stay at this hotel! The staff was incredibly attentive and kind, (even at 1 am) the room was very clean and comfortable. Lots of hot water with great water pressure , excellent WiFi, quiet, extra blankets, coffee maker in room, plentiful towels and toiletries, free shuttle to the airport leaves every 1/2 hour. I arrived very late but was so comfortable I slept very soundly and thankful for the opportunity to rest after a brutal day of air travel with multiple delays and cancellations of my flights. 🙏

The hotel is nice and the room comfy with working wifi.

The shuttle is the worst bit. You arrive at the meeting point for the 4 p.m, shuttle having been specifically told you DO NOT need to book it as it is is there every 30 minutes, but you wait and wait and wait then try to call the hotel which is difficult as it's mega noisy outside the airport and you can hardly hear the receptionist. After many attempts, you hear her say she will SEND the shuttle. That means they simply don't bother until you ask them to. It's a really nasty start to the stay when you're exhausted after travelling. I only booked this hotel as they allegedly had a shuttle.

The restaurant in the hotel is superb. Nothing fancy, just a couple of tables and a buzzing tv, but all dishes i tried were delicious. The hotel is close to the airport and offers free shuttle. My room had a very large double bed. A nespresso coffee machine in the room made up for the bad filter coffee served downstairs. In general the hotel is not nice but serves its purpose for a one night transit in mexico city and flying in the morning

The hotel needs some serious refurbishing. It is old and outdated. In the rooms the pillows are too large and round-curved one cannot use these to sleep without ending up with a neck twist in the morning ! The filter coffee served is not good

This hotel is excellent for an overnight stay when arriving at CDMX at a late hour. It is very close to the airport and it is perfectly possible to walk from the airport to the hotel. (Exiting at gate 7 is just a 5 minute walk. The night area can feel unsafe because there is little lighting, but it is quite busy). The facilities are very welcoming and the entire staff is very friendly. The bed is very comfortable and the room has good areas.

The shower has low pressure and is fixed to the wall — something we've noticed that is quite common throughout Mexico, so it's not an isolated case. Breakfast is not included — which is also common in most hotels in Mexico — but the restaurant is quite good, and for newcomers it's a great introduction to Mexican food ;)

The location was fine given that it is a airport hotel, but I did not see any stores or supermarket nearby (I may be wrong as i didn't fully explore the surroundings). The hotel however has a restaurant which stayed open until late. The staff were very polite and helpful. The room was large and clean and quite soundproof, and the beds comfy. The bathroom large also with a good shower.

The pillows were too big. I would only recommend to have smaller pillows, or both to cater for different tastes.

We had a one night layover while flying in / out of Mexico City airport. The huge bonus is that this hotel offers a complementary airport shuttle which we used in both directions. This was incredibly helpful and reduced stress. So for this reason, I would recommend this hotel.

The accommodation is basic. There was very little light in our room - which was fine as we were only there overnight, but I wouldn't stay any longer.

we had a layover. came in late and left early so we didn’t get to explore much but it was great for our needs. Clean, close to the airport and easy access back and forth.

Nothing. It was perfect for our needs. Beds were ok. The place was clean and the staff were friendly small complaint. the restaurant didn’t open until 7am. I would have liked to have a coffee and a light breakfast before we left.
