Hotel Estrella de Oriente

I met a beautiful person and that is Martha / Maria in the reception. She is very accommodating, kind and friendly. She let us check in early. When she knew that we are from Philippines, she was amazed and welcomed us with open arms. Ive never been welcomed like that with anyone in the reception. She is just so lovely. I will never forget her. Apart from that, the rooms are very clean and modern minimalist. Didnt expect how clean it is and fresh. The beds are comfortable as well. The hot water is so refreshing. I love everything in the room!

Reception should be renovated as it looks very old. This is very important because this is the 1st impression guest would notice when they step inside. Also, I wish they have a coffee/ snack bar so it's convenient to stay inside the hotel .

The staff was incredibly nice and efficient—- great people. The hotel is also spotlessly clean. It is only 3 blocks from the Agricola Oriente metro station and there are food vendors, super markets, and a Banco Azteca located nearby. I loved this hotel and I am definitely staying here next time I visit Mexico City (I have been there 3 times now and there is always so much more to see and do). Hot water showers, elevator, located on a great neighborhood — get out and walk — so many wonderful locally owned shops and restaurants. And very safe! Hotel Estrella Oriente is an incredible value — you get so much for your money here!

I liked everything about the property.

The room is big and safe with a good locker. The bathroom has hot water. The bed is big, clean and cosy. Very good value for money. They have baby cot so my baby had a good night and rested well. The staff is lovely and available. There is an elevator, the access is easy.

As the hotel is located near the airport, there is a lot of traffic and it is noisy outside.

Modern, clean and friendly. Not the tourist part of town, but it's the best value near the airport.

Some highway road noise. Maybe take a taxi or Uber in the neighborhood, not really a walkable area of you're not from here. But safe and nice hotel tucked away next to the airport, I do recommend it.

We stayed here for the price and proximity to the airport. It's a basic stay but has everything you need/expect.

Needed some air flow in the room - a fan would be great.

great location for travellers with an early morning flight (however i wouldn’t hang around the area for leisure). it was very clean and check in was very simple. additionally the hotel allowed us to store our baggage before check in when we got in from our red eye flight.

Needed a simple place to sleep for a night, which is near the airport to catch an early flight. Given the price, the place was extremely comfortable and clean. All the basic necessities were there.

It's rather darkly lit; sounds from the street can be heard, but nothing too drastic.

the room is super lovely, clean and comfortable!:) I could rest good and enjoyed the big bed. The owner is super friendly even we didnt talked the same language he tried to helped me! I appreciate that a lot🙏🏼 also the room is near the airport and you can take the train to there✨

Good wifi, clean and remodeled room, nice stuff. Plenty of local restaurants and fruit stores near by. Close to the Metro.

Noisy, since the place is by highway, room is not that spacious, wifi would not work for someone who works remotely, since its up and down all the time, but for regular use its ok.

The staff at the hotel was super awesome, they went the extra mile to understood what I was saying and would print on a paper in English so I’d understand the conversation we had at check in. Rooms are super comfortable and clean, peaceful and safe. The location is about 2 train stops from Burger King & Walmart but the metro was a fun experience. I totally recommend ❤️
