The hotel is positioned at a 3 minutes walking distance from the London City Airport. It comes with what you would expect: ease of access to the busses, trains and even planes. I expected it to have a decent sound isolation and it did. The planes did not bother me a lot, with most of them remaining unnoticed. The same went for most of the cars and even trains. The exceptions were probably the busses or trains that passed at somewhat higher speeds and somehow managed to trigger a short vibration within the building. I must add, however that as a fine hearing person, I adapted quickly and could easily sleep without ear plugs or any such things. The staff is friendly and helpful. I enjoyed conversing with them and felt welcome there. They serve a quality food in their restaurant on the ground floor. Although the choice is not very diverse, everything was well prepared and tasty. My honest compliments. I advice you to try a full English breakfast and their chicken soup. The rooms have a nice calm design with a touch of positive energy coming from the artwork on the wall. I managed to see 2 rooms and I suspect most of them share this pleasant trait. The beds are comfy and have a good size. Rooms are clean and the only missing part would be a nice recliner or a deep chair, where you can sit relaxedly and read or do something on the smartphone. As for the rest of the reviews: they are true. Internet is good and there was also a smart tv in the room. All in all, I was happy with my accomodation. Thank you!

A recliner or a deep chair for reading would be a great addition =) Maybe add one which can be pulled down/expanded from the wall.

Lovely little hotel, room perfect size for a solo traveller. On an extremely hot weekend in London, the AC in the room was an absolute godsend. For anyone worried about noise being so close to the airport, I heard very little. Across from my room, there was a tube line, and it wasn't noisy at all, more a dull hum every now and then. The staff was friendly and helpful staff. I wish I had been up to venturing down for breakfast in the morning, as it smelled delicious. I would have loved to have had the time to visit the bar too, as it was a lovely seating area. Only reason I didn't was due to my health, no other reasons. I had a very nice weekend at this hotel.

Location is great for the London stadium and the O2. It's comfortable and the breakfast was really good. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

The shower took a bit of fiddling around with to get it hot. My tip is to turn on the hand held shower first to get hot then change to the overhead one. The breakfast was really good but there were never more than 4 plates, cups and glasses for everyone eating so you have to keep asking for things that aren't there. The staff are so friendly, it's no trouble for them, I just thought if there was more choice then the staff needn't be bothered with requests.

Clean spacious functional room - perfect low-cost flop stop for an early morning flight. Polite and helpful staff, handy car parking underneath the hotel - allowed me to check out in the morning and leave all of my belongings in the boot in a secure place and simply have a folio case for the day's business meetings, meaning I could travel light and fly through the airport's security procedures.

Breakfast available from 7am but had to leave by 7.20 to catch flight, sadly they only started cooking at 7.05 and mine was the fourth breakfast order so had to leave without eating...staff were polite and apologetic - this was my first (but unlikely to be my last) stay here - so it might have been a one-off late start for the Chef.

My original flight was cancelled and I needed a quick, emergency solution near to City Airport. LCY Hotel looked close to the airport for my re-scheduled flight first thing in the morning and this is why I picked it. It seemed almost brand new, with helpful and attentive night staff (I arrived just after midnight). Very well appointed and felt very modern. Super clean. Early next morning, I was literally through security at the airport 15 minutes after I got up from bed. This is absoutely my hotel of choice next time at City airport.

It was a super short stay and everything was fine.

A surprisingly spacious room. Very comfortable with the usual tea, coffee and other such amenities like a hairdryer and television. At only a 2 minute walk from the terminal of London City Airport LCY, it’s a perfect transit hotel. Whilst the hotel is further out of the city centre, it is easily connect with the DLR taking you to Canning Town station were you can easily connect further into central London via the Jubilee Line.

The room in which I had was at the rear of the property which backed onto a busy railway line. While this didn’t bother myself much, it may be a slight inconvenience as there were trains passing every few minutes. Another thing to note is that the key cards for the rooms do not have numbers on them which caught me out a couple of times.

Checking was not so good I Informed them that I come 13.00 hrs. And they send me a reply thank you But they Kept me till 14.00hrs Anyway this can happen..

It really is a 3min walk from Airport to the hotel when you know where it is. This is a small hotel with friendly helpful staff..The menu is basic but food is cheap and some of the best value good meals I ate in the whole weeks away. Great masseuse. Again very good rates. I had a full body massage and went back for a facial. Both were excellent. The room was a good size. Good shower. And contrary to where I am now at the Radisson at LHR at the LCY airport hotel the TV worked.

A couple more options on the menu been good.

1st impression from outside we thought looked small and shabby. However it was beautiful inside. Staff were very friendly and attentive especially the young girl serving breakfast. Our room was small and compact but bed was very comfortable, free Wi-Fi, and air conditioning was brilliant. Thought we were going to have continental breakfast as advertised but surprised and happy we were offered a full English. It was so lovely. Hotel also offered underground car parking.

The area is run down and our view was of the Tate and Lyle sugar factory

The hotel was super convenient to London city airport, and had a small cafe that served bar type food on the ground floor. The hotel room had good climate control and the hotel has a lift to reach the upper floors. There was a decent selection of breakfast items and a cooked English breakfast was available. The staff was very polite.

The walking path from the airport to the hotel is a zigzag path downhill through an overgrown area which would have been impossible to find at night had I not found someone else heading that way. The bed sat very low to the ground and was not particularly comfortable. The kitchen service is very slow at breakfast, so factor that into your plans if you plan to have a hot breakfast there.
