Liked all the decor and the car parking facilities. Staff were great, everything was spotlessly clean. Would stay again.

The price was expensive, particularly considering it did not include breakfast. The bar was excellent but slightly more expensive than we would like and as a result we chose to go elsewhere. Studio 1 was great, however the skylight above the bed could do with a blackout blind as the light streams in and could cause issues with sleeping, particularly in summer months. Screen in the shower needs resealed and drain needs to be unclogged but this is something that the staff would undoubtedly deal with if they were made aware.

Good value. Booked day of due to a last minute change to our plans. Located in the heart of the town on a busy road (must be much busier during peak season). We were situated at the front of the building so if the windows were open it could be a bit noisy at times but did quiet down significantly on the overnight hours. There wasn’t much of a view so I would consider asking for a hotel that faces the backside. The room was generously sized and the bathroom was quite nice. Everything was clean. Lots of restaurants in town. Breakfast for 10 pounds was convenient but just ok in my opinion. Go down the block to Coasters and have a better breakfast with a view. Free parking for 18 cars first come first serve.

The place was newly renovated about 2 years ago so the rooms were very tastefully decorated and impeccably clean. Originally an old building it still had a lot of style. The location was walkable to everything and having a bar on site gave us a nice place to hang out in the evening. The new American host was delightful to talk to and fun to watching experimenting making new drinks.

We received emails ahead of time saying sorry but there's only room for 18 vehicles in the parking spot. We didn't know how big the hotel was, so we didn't know if that was almost enough or only 10% of rooms, turns out that would cover most rooms with 1 vehicle each, however more disappointingly and surprisingly it didn't tell us what to do if there wasn't parking available. It didn't turn out to be an issue for us, but it was on my mind heading into the town and caused debates as to whether to make stops or not in order to get to the hotel in time to get a parking spot. A recommendation on where to park had we not been able to get a space would have been nice.

The room was a really great size compared to other hotels we looked at in Oban. It was so comfy and modern with a huge bed. Bathroom was lovely and modern too. The shower was great. Loved that bottled water and Tunnocks were provided daily :) Parking was really easy and secure. Would definitely stay again!

The room faced the main road so if the windows were open (necessary with the heat - not that I am complaining about that :)) it was very loud. However, they have got effective soundproofing if the windows are closed. No lift but only two floors in the hotel so not too far to lift the cases. Breakfast was a bit too expensive. We opted to have breakfast elsewhere in Oban.

beautiful hotel, very modern. bed was massive a super king size! room was immaculate with beautiful toiletries in bathroom sink and shower. Bath towels are huge , fluffy and luxurious! Good tea/coffee facilities in room with complimentary bottle of water. perfect location for everything. lovely & quiet at night. lovely bar area. breakfast was very tasty but I’d say overpriced. staff really friendly and even arranged to put birthday things in my room for me arriving as a surprise for my sister which I paid when I arrived. parking was great also at back of hotel

nothing I cannot fault this hotel at all except at £14.99 per person for breakfast we thought was expensive especially if your not a big eater and only fancy a smaller breakfast and having a cooked breakfast is a treat whilst away to a hotel but thought over priced with no option to purchase just a breakfast roll perhaps

Lovely, small and well apportioned hotel right in the heart of Oban. Delicious breakfast, comfortable beds. Cute and relaxing.

No meals available other than breakfast, and I heard the staff taking another guest that they may not eat or drink anything in the lobby that wasn’t purchased at the hotel. I thought this was an unreasonable policy given that the restaurant only sold drinks outside of breakfast. Also be aware that there is no lift and all rooms are up at least one flight of stairs.

Lovely clean room with a very comfy bed, even had cappuccino sachets and tunnocks tea cakes. The young lady on reception (I think her name was Sharon) was very friendly and made us feel so welcome from the minute you walked through the door. We will definitely stay here again if we are back in Oban. Very nice breakfast in the morning and nice to relax in front of the fire with a Gin & Tonic in the evening. The free parking at the back was great. First class.

The only thing that would have been better for me, would be a lift, as we were on the top floor and I suffer with a painful leg.

location of the hotel is excellent, on the high street in Oban and a 2 minutes walk to the harbour front. easy to find and loads of secure parking space at the rear of the hotel. The hotel is very clean and seems newly renovated, rooms are very comfortable and spacious. The staff we met were very friendly and gave us a nice Highlang welcome. we were there at Christmas time so it was very quiet, but I would love to stay there in the summer time. wonderful location to explore not only Oban and the mainland locations such as Glencoe and the nearby Lochs but also for trips to the Hebridean Islands via local ferries.

we had no problems at all but “big luggage” travellers should note that there is no elevator but if you have big heavy cases the staff will help you take them up if needed.

comfy large bed, great shower, friendly staff

I plugged in a fan I found in wardrobe which blew the electrical circuit for the whole floor! We were not offered a replacement. Also we previously stayed in same room about 9 months prior when we complained that the fan in bathroom did not work and this was still the case on our return visit!! Also did not like that they were charging an additional £15 per head for breakfast when the room cost at £140 per night should have included breakfast.

Lovely clean rooms, comfy big bed- quiet room at the back beside car park. Great location - so close to everything- come out hotel and you’re on the Main Street . Would definitely book here again! Great value for money Brilliant friendly staff, all of them were great but in particular one male (possibly Spanish?) was very helpful and chatty/welcoming. Nice downstairs area - bar and seating area, but a shame not busier as bar is hardly open!

Hotel bar closed at 11pm (at weekend) even when it was quite busy with guests, you’d think they would stay open longer - both guests and the hotel would benefit 🤷🏽‍♀️
