Placemakr Wall Street

All the staff was super helpful, kind, and responsive. The room is spacious and pleasant to stay in. It has a nice view of the river and is well equipped with kitchenettes. There are free facilities such as laundry machines, community kitchens, table tennis, etc. The coffee shop and restaurant on the first floor were convenient and served nice coffee and meal. Strongly recommended for guests who will stay relatively long in New York.

I stayed in Studio Murphy room and had to sleep in murphy bed. The murphy bed was not that comfortable and the legs of the bed were not fixed. If you prefer a comfortable bed, you should choose another type of room.

Everything is very well thought out, and the studio plus was perfectly big enough for the 4 of us. Beds are extremely comfortable, and the kitchen is functional. We were lucky enough to have a community kitchen down the hall and we made smoothies in the blender every day (with our own groceries). We found the City Acres Market around the corner, with great options for quick food as well as groceries, and the Duane Reade pharmacy for other essentials is a very quick walk. Great staff!

The bathroom could benefit from an exhaust fan, but that's really it.

The location is awesome, next to the wall street coast area with view to Brooklyn bridge for 5 min walk. 2 min walk to subway Line 2&3 which can access to major attractions in Midtown Manhattan. Grocery stores near by and Walgreens 1 min close by. The location area is safe and we felt safe too when went back to hotel at night from subway station! Laundry room is great for travelers around 5-6 days , so that we can have laundry without any worries. Enough washing machines and dryers and no need to wait and all for free! Gym room and game room (same in Laundry room) is nice so we had some nice family time there too! Staff are nice and responsive to text messages for any requests like extra blanket and towels so quickly. For two beds room, one is Queen size murphy bed (hanging on the wall in day time and flip down at night) and another is a full alcove bed alongside the bookshelf. The full bed is perfect for 1-2 kids, which my daughter of 9 yrs old so happy to stay on her bed and reading with curtain closed with her own space privacy. The Queen murphy bed is enough for 2 adults and we found the bed is comfy. My husband loves the stove and all kitchen appliances and pans available, and we cooked our breakfast and some meals like at home. It is really comfy room choice for family travelers!

Heater/AC is little louder, but considering most Heater/AC in NYC has same issue, it's fine. If you are really sensitive for sound, may be bring along with ear plugs will be sufficient.

Convenience of checking in/out, clean rooms

Location is good and bad^^ it was good for my purpose but for tour purpose would be little out of the way

Perfect place. My new home in NYC. Quiet neighbour, felt very relaxing after the hubbub of the City to step out of the subway at Wall Street and take a quiet stroll back to my pad. Waking up early the next day to grab hot breakfast and coffee from a nearby street cart and enjoy it whilst watching the sun rise over the East River and the Brooklyn Bridge was a definitive highlight of my stay.

A reading lamp! Need to mention though that I was provided with one as soon as I mentioned this point. I love to read in bed too, what can I say?

The best place for long stay in NYC! Perfect location with both subway and ferry very close. The air-conditioned room is spacious and practically designed. A great advantage of the hotel is the laundry room, where you can wash and dry your clothes for free, while playing billiards or ping pong. We had our own kitchen in the room, but the hotel also has three large equipped kitchens where you can cook or bake anything. We also used the hotel's terrace, where you can dine and grill. The fitness center is open 24/7. We were extremely satisfied, highly recommend and will definitely return to Wall Street!

We have stayed in this beautiful place for 7 nights in a deluxe apartment. It is conveniently located a few minutes walk from the subway - 2 train, in a very neat and uncrowded part of the city. There are convenience stores nearby for practical shopping. The staff has been really friendly and helpful with all requests we have asked them. Toiletry items were available in the room like shampoo and shower gel but we instead used our own. Very much liked the 8th floor for free laundry machines and also for the arcade games. Apple TV and Bose speakers were fun to play with. It will surely book again for our next visit.

It would be great if there was a coffee machine in the room, I agree that there are many opportunities nearby to get coffee but imagine, you wake up and have to dress up to get coffee. Would be nice if we had a coffee machine in the room, just saying. Housekeeping is every 10 days, that means if you stay less than 10 days you get no cleaning. But they do provide towels upon request, but the sheets are not changed frequently like in a hotel.

A good size apartment in a very good location for a large family looking to stay in NY. Very handy to have washing facilities available, as well as a fitness centre in the building. We also appreciated 24/7 reception staff on hand if required, as well as a barista in the lobby!

A larger table in the apartment with enough chairs to seat the whole family at once would have been handy.

We had a wonderful stay ! The place is 5 mn from the subway. The room was really nice and cosy with a very good bed and a kitchen corner well equiped. The bathroom was big and the shower warm with a lot of pressure so : very pleasant. The room also had a great TV with an Apple TV (for your netflix, prime, etc.) and a BOSE sound system (beware it require cables). We had to work during the day and the room was very comfortable. Rob and Nate at the lobby desk were amazing and very kind, they helped us during all our stay and it wouldn't have been the same without them. One of the best team we had since a long time :) We are looking forward to come back.

The wifi was sometime a bit slow but 4G was working well

We really liked the modern and "cool" look and feel of this place. The community kitchen and washing room were very useful features that were designed much nicer than at other places, too.

Our stove did not work and could not get fixed during our stay even though maintenance tried to take care of it twice by just unplugging and plugging the device again which only helped for a minute. The staff at the reception did not really seem to care too much. They called maintenance but other than that did not try to compensate us for that unfomfortable circumstance. We had booked the Placemakr to have a kitchen and to be able to fix ourselves breakfast at our room. We ended up having to go to the community kitchen (in our PJ) to cook water for our morning tea and porridge.
