Hotel Indigo NYC Downtown - Wall Street, an IHG Hotel

We loved our stay! Can’t wait to come back. Staff is super friendly! Thanks Lester and everyone from the breakfast crew. Always so friendly. Rooms were small but had everything you needed! Super comfortable beds and almost no noise from the street. Location great, we felt super safe and easy access to rest of the city by bike or subway. Would recommend!

A little bit more closet space would be nice but only if I had to say something

We spent 6 nights in this hotel and we were completely satisfied with it. We are a couple who explored Manhattan for the first time and for this purpose this hotel was a great starting point. You can pick up a great coffee, water and some snacks for free and the red metro station is just as far as you can drink your morning coffee. It's a clean business area, completely safe and quiet on NY terms. There are shops and restaurants around, the river is just a few steps away with great Brooklyn view. Yes, the room is small, but as a European I found the sizes completely fine. What is more important is that the hotel is new and very clean. Please note that there is no room service everyday, you need to request it, which was fine for us. If you close the windows you can hear nothing from the outside noises which was great and we could hear only a few things from the neighbour room. It's not cheap but in Manhattan it's on a good price. Also, on the last day we could leave our luggages in the hotel to explore even more from New York.

During the check in they couldn't find our booking which was worrying at first, but the very kind receptionist made everything to get a room for us, which was also an upgraded room if I'm not mistaken with great street view. Also, the bed was a little bit too soft for me but these are minor things compared to the goods. I would choose this hotel again for sure and would recommend it!

The property was really nice and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Everything was new. On the first floor was a fridge where you could grab bottles of water for free which was a nice touch.

The room were a little small for 2 people once our bags were opened but we made it work. I was charged twice by the hotel. While checking out I brought this to the staffs attention, they said that it was very common for this to happen but my bank statement would b updated in a few days. If it is a common reoccurrence the hotel should definitely do something about this

Breakfast was good, we only ate at hotel one day. Location wasn't ideal, as most of our activities were further uptown, so we had to factor that in. Due to holiday weekend, midtown was booked up. An unexpected benefit was that financial district/Wall Street area feels relatively safe and clean for NYC. There are also enough businesses in surrounding blocks for convenience and food, while not very congested. Walk to SoHo was nice, so the location is definitely doable.

The room was clean and just luxurious enough. It was missing same basic conveniences like a dresser with drawers and a folding luggage rack.

The hotel was a great location - not too far from a train stop and Wall Street. Overall the hotel was in good repair and clean. The staff were very helpful as well.

The cleaning of our room was not the best. It appears they only replace towels, empty the trash and make the beds. I didn't take any photos of it, but there was some muck in the corner of the shower when we arrived. Just a good deep cleaning is all they need. I have stayed a lot of places in NYC and this is by far one of the cleanest.

I LIKED THAT THE BREAKFAST WAS MADE FRESH IN THE KITCHEN & TASTED REALLY GOOD. THE STAFF FROM THE FRONT DESK TO THE RESTAURANTS WERE AMAZING, VERY PROFESSIONAL BUT FRIENDLY AT THE SAME TIME. ALL MY REQUESTS AND NEEDS WERE ADDRESSED RIGHT AWAY. I GIVE THE HOTEL STAFF A PERFECT. THE BED WAS SUPER COMFY AND THE PILLOWS HAD JUST THE RIGHT FIRMNESS FOR A RESTFUL SLEEP. TOWELS WERE FLUFFY AND SUPER ABSORBENT. I LOVE HOW EVERYTHING FELT NEW AND CLEAN!

THE ROOM WAS WELL DESIGNED BUT RATHER SMALL, BEST FOR SOLO TRAVELER WITH SMALLER SUITCASES. THE GYM WAS WAY TOO SMALL & WITH FEW EQUIPMENTS (NO MATS!) AND DID NOT HAVE ANY PROVISION FOR AIR TO CIRCULATE PROPERLY. GOOD FOR ONE PERSON TO WORKOUT AT A TIME, NO MORE.

+ Very friendly and helpful staff + Located in the Financial District of Manhattan, therefore close to all attractions and very safe area. + Room was cleaned every day. + The rooms are very new, I think the hotel just opened one year ago.

We had a room with balcony and unfortunately no one is taking care of it. No furniture to sit on the balcony and it was also not cleaned. This is the only point for improvement, everything else was really perfect.

The coziness of the rooms..

This is a non smoking property ..Yet the floor we were on wreaked of marijuana…And not even a good smelling marijuana…It smell like it was mixed with doodoo ..It was horrible ..My entire room smell of funky weed.. ..I voiced my concerns to the front desk representative the first time …Of course nothing was done because I was awaken by the smell of it again the morning we were scheduled to leave ..I didn’t get any sleep that night & had to be up at 4am..And the night Auditor was rude …

The rooms were on the smaller side, but very modern and new! The bed was very comfortable and you had everything you needed for your trip. The bathroom was small, but had very nice finishes and was very clean. Breakfast was delicious, but the service was slow. That will get better with time I am sure. All and all I would stay here again.

The shower unfortunately leaked on to the bathroom floor because the glass shower door did not seal properly. We had to use several towels every morning to dry up the mess. We had one unpleasant sever at breakfast on our last day, but the kitchen made up for it with a extra meal as they saw we waited for awhile for our food. Again the food was delicious.
