Brand new hotel, connected to the terminal at Wellington airport so moving from the terminal to the hotel is very convenient. Despite the proximity to runways, etc, there was zero noise from the aircraft that could be heard (there was actual more sound to be heard from the corridor, so the exterior soundproofing is amazing). Room was very comfortable, perfect for a single traveler or couple. Bathroom was spotlessly clean. Room entertainment choices via the internal movie channels were very good. Easy access to their gym and restaurant/Cafe. Bed was exceptionally comfortable and the room temp was perfect.

I recently had the opportunity to stay at the Rydges Wellington Airport hotel and I must say, it was a pleasant surprise. One of the standout features of this hotel is its location, right within the airport terminal in the check-in area. The convenience of having a hotel located within the airport itself was truly remarkable. After a long flight, it was a relief to know that I didn't have to go through the hassle of finding transportation or wasting time traveling to a hotel. Instead, I was able to simply walk from the arrivals gate to the hotel reception, which made my stay incredibly convenient and stress-free. The hotel itself was well-appointed and comfortable. The rooms were spacious, clean, and had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The staff was friendly and accommodating, ensuring that all my needs were met. The hotel's design and decor were modern and stylish, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Despite being located in the airport, I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet the rooms were. I didn't experience any disturbances from the airport noise, allowing me to have a restful night's sleep. The soundproofing was excellent, which was an added bonus. In addition to the convenient location, the hotel also offered a variety of dining options. Whether I wanted a quick bite or a more formal meal, there were several restaurants and cafes to choose from. The food was delicious and the service was prompt and friendly. Overall, I was highly impressed with my stay at the Rydges Wellington Airport hotel. The convenience of its location within the airport terminal, the comfortable rooms, and the excellent dining options all contributed to a wonderful experience. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable stay at Wellington Airport.

Location is convenient directly inside Wellington airport - many rooms have great views overlooking the starting or landing strip. You nevertheless barely hear the planes as the windows are isolated.

The breakfast could be better - not many options and the offer lacked creativity and passion. Way too expensive for that! Room was nice but some details could have been better for that price - some furniture was damaged, often dusty which made me feel like the carpet maybe is dusty as well … bathroom nice and clean though!

An amazing location. There is no accommodation in a better, more efficient location for all flights in and out of Wellington Airport, even if you have a flight that doesn't leave super late or early because they will store the bags between check-in.

I wish they'd serve food 24/7, even just a stripped-down menu of chips and a burger. Our flight arrived at 10pm and it was very difficult to find a place in Miramar to have dinner that late; the only option you can do is convince a Taxi to drive you through Burger Kings Drive-Thru. It also means that on flights that leave before the Breakfast opens, you could get something before that flight.

The bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable.

The information sheet handed to guests at reception annoyed me. The code printed on it to scan to find the room service menu doesn’t align with the restaurant’s menu. The person taking my order by phone had to correct me to use the menu displayed on the in room tv. Secondly as a person with impaired abilities being handed a further piece of paper to juggle with room key and various bags was discombobulating. None of the information was important to have before reaching the room.

The location is amazing. It saved us so many hassles of transport being that the motel is literally in the airport. I wasn’t aware when we booked. Beautiful space.

We did strike a waiter at the Peloton Bar who was quite terse. Being told “Menu” and point at it and then repeated when we tried to say we didn’t need the menu. Also strangely he charged us and then said he didn’t have what we wanted. He did however source it so no harm done. Just maybe he said out loud what should’ve been in his head.

It is a beautiful hotel, and was very easy to access and enjoy. Even though it is connected to the airport, we didn't hear a single aeroplane. The staff were exceptional and incredibly helpful with any enquiry. I am a little disappointed in myself that we weren't there at times to enjoy the restaurant and bar that looked stunning, next time though.

The only thing I wasn't the most pleased about, was the sheets on the bed looked, they looked as if someone mat have previously had a small cut, or a minor nose bleed. I could tell they had been cleaned so it wasn't fresh

Loved the location. It made for a easy wake up to catch a flight and saved a lot of time travelling at that hour of the morning to get to the airport!

Room service. We ordered our meals at 4.30 to be delivered at 5.30 (keeping in mind the restaurant didn’t even open until 5pm) so there was plenty of notice. We rung at 5.40 to see how long it was going to take, the person who answered said it was a big order (5 people and an hours notice) and it wouldn’t be long. The food arrived at 6pm cold. Rather disappointing given how expensive it was too! I would definitely recommend Uber eats if you’re going to eat whilst staying here.

Comfortable room and bed, huge shower (thank you). The ease of moving from airport to hotel and vice versa. The welcoming smile from the lady on desk duty (who was due to finish at 7am). She was a cheerful and very pleasant way to close off a long days travel (2 buses, a train, 2 aircraft and 2 wheel chairs in 12 hours)

The price, but I suppose I got what I paid for. I would have preferred to pay my bill in cash as opposed to a credit card which attracted a surcharge.

Access to hotel was a little difficult as there was no concierge or little signage but once outside hotel, getting to the Lobby and Reception was quite a simple process. Room was very fresh and tidy, all amenties provided. The bed was super comfortable and the pillows the best we have encountered in our travels. Our room was to the north but still a lovely view of the golf course and surrounding hills.

Maybe more signage at front of hotel as we were being driven by family who were unfamiliar with airport roads.
