I had very low expectations for this hotel, since I paid very little but needed to be near SRE for a morning appointment. I was given room 1312, with a spectacular view of the Alameda Central and northern Mexico City - it was lovely. The room was plain and the appurtenances were clearly older, but it was clean, large, comfortable and there was plenty of hot water. There's a cafeteria in the lobby where I had delicious tacos the night I arrived, and breakfast was available but I had plans to go elsewhere. Highly recommend if you need to be near the Alameda Central!

location right in the centre. nice staff and both typical and American breakfast options.
the pillows and thin blankets in January, no central heating. but we did get an extra blanket for the last night. no wifi in the room until the morning of our departure.

The location. It's literally in the very center of the city. Lots of places around to eat, and the view is amazing.
It's not a big deal, but the bathroom is too small and the shower is a bit uncomfortable for two people. Other than that, my experience was awesome.

The english speaking gentleman at the front desk were extremely helpful booking tours and assisting with uber when we could not get a taxi due to protests closing streets.

Everybody was friendly, they clean the room every day.
The tv channels. Most of then are in Spanish from local stations, bad quality. The staff did not speak English.
