Excellent location, great vibe and staff is wonderful. also very handy they give a USD30/day bonus to use as you like, so we used for breakfast - which is excellent. The bed is extremely comfortable - and shower is great. Bowery is also great, full of bars and steps away from Little Italy and ChinaTown. Highly recommend.

Because its a “party like” hotel, guests can be very noisy - so we had people in our floor doing karaoke by 00h (but staff promptly came and they stopped), and people coming and going until early mornings. The noise insulation in the rooms are not great - you can hear all doors and voices in the corridors, which is not great if you’re a light sleeper.

The Moxy Lower East Side is easily accessible to get to Brooklyn, which was our main reason for choosing this location. The hotel is clean and trendy. The front desk was extremely helpful when they got us checked in before our check-in time since we needed to be at an event that afternoon.

The rooms are very small, which is expected being in Manhattan, to be fair. Just a heads up, I wouldn't share the room with someone you aren't extremely comfortable having zero privacy from. The shower and toilet are in separate compartments of the room, but not a separate room you could easily shower and then get dressed in, for example.

Location is great. I like that there is always someone available at the door, desk or bar in case you arrive late night. They have an option of 2 beds which is rare in NY. Facilities are very clean. They also have a supply closet in case you forgot to bring a toothbrush or razor. The morning coffee cafe has good coffee and breakfast food to grab & go or eat in.

This is my second stay at the hotel. I chose a room without a view because it was as short trip and I didn’t think anything of it. I ended up on a lower floor with a view of the roof and interior shaft (which is a large area but because of the low floor not a lot of light) Not a deal breaker but good to know. On Saturday night I could hear the faint music of the nightclub below which went late.

Hotel was clean, modern and in a great location - just around the corner from Grand St. and Bowery subway stations. A short walk to Mulberry Street with lots of nice cafés and restaurants and close to Broadway for high street shopping too. It felt safe walking home in the evenings too, Bowery is a busy street. The staff were friendly and helpful and the doormen always greeted you upon arrival/exit. Fresh towels and housekeeping daily too and rooms were quiet at night (6th Floor Room) despite the hotel being busy.

The room was small but worked for me as a solo traveller - you would not have space to store two large suitcases in the room. There was space under the bed for one, and for 2 small suitcases on each side of the bed (4 in total). I'd recommend choosing a larger room for your stay if you're travelling with more than 1 person!

The hotel was extremely clean and the room was perfect for my weeklong work trip in NYC. Room service brought fresh towels and tidied up everyday. I appreciated the hotel amenities such as shampoo, conditioner, a steamer(!), and hairdryer. The location was perfectly located between Soho, LES, and Chinatown, with a subway stop steps away from the hotel.

I was disappointed there was not coffee, tea, or complimentary water in the room. Two large carafes of Stumptown coffee were placed in the lobby each morning but both ran out after ~8:30am and were not refilled. This meant I often had to resort to purchasing coffee from hotel cafe which was less than excellent.

New and modern, nice design. Comfortable bed. Several bars/restaurants in the hotel which was nice but didn't use all of them. Seems to be a good concept hotel but rooms on the small size. Would stay again if the price was good. Staff were super helpful and friendly, room and hotel exceptionally clean and maintained. Location is good and 'up and coming' lets say but within easy walk of the main area of the LES as well as Mulberry St, Spring etc. Subway close by.

Room was very compact with limited and sort of weird storage for clothes. Suppose the design is to cram in as much as possible in a smaller space. The aesthetic is really very cool, young and modern but even with a 'King room' it would feel cramped with two people. Not keen on the bathroom set up but it functions, privacy would be an issue with two friends sharing. Booked a partial view room and it was VERY partial but OK.

Great location: Right next to SoHo, East Village, China town, multiple decent restaurants, and very close subway station. The neighborhood is a little dirty, but not terrible. The hotel looks great and has some amazing amenities. The lobby feels pleasant and is a nice place to work. The bar and coffee shop are nice. There is a 24/7 gym which is not very crowded. The rooftop bar had a nice view. There is a club near the entrance with a nice decor and live music every night. The room was a little pricier than similar hotels, but they also give a $30 credit per day per room that you can spend for drinks, coffee, and pastries which doesn't hurt. This place has a lot of staff, which was interesting. Most of the staff is pretty friendly.

Best bang for your buck! This was an amazing stay, very comfortable king bed, plenty of space to move around (usually not the case for NYC hotels) and we had an amazing view of One World Trade. Location is key, as the hotel was close to a bunch of restaurants and shops in LES. We also loved that the hotel gave us a $30 credit to use towards drinks at the bar or for breakfast at the cafe the next morning. Definitely loved the decor and layout as well. Would definitely stay again!

The only thing negative about this hotel was the line and wait time when checking in. There was only one working computer to check in, so the process took a lot longer than expected. However, the staff was so accommodating and we were upgraded to an Executive King room!

Wonderful location, close to all the trending spots in the city. Small rooms but you don't feel it as they're designed so well and are kept very clean and modern. Would recommend!

The staff at the front desk sometimes weren't too helpful with some questions, for instance I asked how do I get to a place by bus and she answered me that she doesn't know because she only drives (but as a front desk you should find out for the customer). Otherwise very nice!

The staff were courteous, friendly, and professional. It's not very often that you see someone holding the door to the hotel at all hours of the day! All staff personnel greeted us with a smile. We felt at home.

The elevator coding was atrocious. It seemed like everyone we met was having difficulty with the elevator. We did eventually learn how to use it and we think it is in the interests of everyones safety that the elevators are the way that they are.
