Be careful : You may get charged twice for "facility service charge". Once by Booking.com or during check-in (as it should be) and another time during \ after check-out. In my case , my card was charged after leaving hotel \ after check-out -> while we were in taxi. Finally money has been returned back.

King Room Small, quaint, quiet and well appointed, comfortable bed, nice shower! Fridge was a bonus. Bed was really comfortable! Lots of pillows. Lots of closet and storage space.

The website advertises Robes for use during the stay. There weren't any robes available. And the website pictures show water for the room, there were no waters or any coffee/tea. Could not find the ice maker, but the room offered an ice bucket and glasses.

This is a comfortable and pleasant hotel in an EXCELLENT location. It is entirely possible to walk to Greenwich Village and it is also possible to walk to Central Park. Meanwhile, the hotel is very close to all of the sites in midtown. There is a subway entrance very close to the front door, as well. The room was small but cheerful. The bathroom had a bath. I thought it was good value. For a four star hotel in an excellent NYC location, this is about as reasonable as it gets. It also has a cafe downstairs and a rooftop bar. We didn't visit either but they were very popular. The lobby has comfy chairs too. Wifi works very well.

It's a bit impersonal. The desk is on the other side of the elevators so after we checked in, we never saw another staff member. It's not a big deal but it seemed a bit odd. We were there for a week.

Location is good. Close to Korean town. A lot of restaurants near by. Big gym next door.

Room is small and room windows are hard to open. The restaurant breakfast was too light for me. Some frontdesk is very helpful while some are not.

Really handy to tourist locations. The hotel was quirky with a bit of old world charm and we enjoyed it. Staff were excellent especially Sam.

We stayed in the King Delux room which says it has a courtyard view but it really just looks into the centre of the building. In saying that we did not spend that much time in our room as we went to New York to see the sites up close not from our hotel windows. Our opinion is that this is a hotel for a short stay 2-3 nights. With no microwave or kettle in the room it makes it hard to just have a night in and have something to eat so you can catch your breath and just rest.

This property is close to many attractions and you can walk everywhere or ride public transport. I liked the ambiance of the lobby and the art displays. the bed was comfortable and pillows are really nice.

This hotel is old so expect slow elevators. The room was small and there’s not much room to move around but it perfect for a couple or one person stay. It smelled a little like “wet towel” smell in the room and in the hallways but it wasn’t unbearable.

The room was good, the bathroom was well appointed and honestly we were so happy to see a real door not a glass door for a change. Also they had the bathroom light on a dimmer switch so you could use it as a nightlight - very useful. The bed was comfy and air conditioning was great without sounding like a jet engine. Made for a great stay.

It would have been nice to have some hooks on the walls- hotels never give enough hangers and the closet space and drawer space is always tiny so hooks or pegs on the wall would have been great. Also there was no coffee maker or hot water kettle so it meant going out to grab a coffee each day. Lastly blackout curtains would have been nice but the shades were ok.

it is a beautiful hotel, great location and staff is very nice. for New York rooms have a very decent size, nice and very clean and they are super quiet! no street noise and because they are dark you can sleep deeply which was on of our main goals. we felt at home.

we noticed it doesn’t have many services or amenities. for example, we were unable to buy coffee in the morning after 11 am . they only have a small bar, no restaurant. even something as simple as wanting to buy a bottle of water at night to bring to the room, not possible, the front desk staff help us with tap water in disposable cups. after that, we had to make sure to buy water at a cvs before going back to the hotel. not a big deal though

The location was great and I felt safe staying here as a solo traveller. I love the design of the rooms, the bed was really comfy, and the shower was powerful. Would definitely return here - it was a great place to stay.

Unfortunately, there were some building works going on during my stay so I couldn’t appreciate the full beauty of the building and the works also made it a little noisier. Plus, the bathroom did rattle quite a bit with the subway below, but nothing that stopped me sleeping. The TV also wouldn’t connect to the antennae but this wasn’t a big issue as I was out and about most of the time.
