Park South Hotel, part of JdV by Hyatt

From the moment we were greeted at the curb until we left, everything was amazing. The room was cozy and quiet, and every staff person we encountered was friendly and helpful. There were several great options for food within walking distance and valeting the car eliminated the hassle of navigating NYC parking. Kids fell in love with the place and didn't want to leave! I believe the exact quote was "All I want for Christmas is to stay at this hotel again." The bell hop even gave my son a big hug to try and cheer him up as we were checking out. =)

The location was perfect! so close to a transit line, and being so close to everything. Very clean rooms with good A/C. One of the best hotels we have booked in a long time.

My only complaint would be that the bed we had wasn't very good on my back. i could feel the spring when i laid down.

We always stay at Park South when we go to NY. Great location, excellent staff (Barbara at the front desk is amazing!) and the rooms are spacious and clean. The Front desk is also very helpful when it comes to reservations, recommendations, and any kind of support. There is also a great roof top bar and a very nice restaurant in the same building. I highly recommend this hotel!

Great service, convenient loccation, no breakfast in hotel but great bagel place next door ( very reasonable & delicious food) close to foid shops, bars, subway & midway to all the city attractions. Very clean & lovely friendly staff

Room small & bathroom small for 4 people, but as we were only there to sleep it was fine. It's NYC, But would be better if room was a bit bigger

The property is located in a very central location, with easy access to all parts of the city. It is a very safe location. The room is cosy, staff is friendly and helpful.

Breakfast options could be expanded to included freshly made eggs, some cheese, cold cuts, toast. The current options are rather limited.

Location. Comfortable beds, nice sz room. I’ve stayed here half a dozen times, so familiar with the hotel and the area. Rooftop nice in good weather.

If you buy a drink inside the hotel you can’t bring it (or your complimentary glass of wine) up to the rooftop. Front desk says you can, but bouncer will Not let you go up in the elevator. Rooftop bar is very expensive.

The size of the room was bigger than most rooms in NYC. The staff was nice and accommodating. It was clean and quiet. We hardly heard neighbors. I love the little library area!

However the bathroom was tiny and hardly any room for toiletries. Although the location was convenient with subway close by, I still prefer staying uptown where crowd is a bit thinner.

Everything. The rooms are really big the beds were comfortable. The staff was great. The rooms are very lovingly appointed. It's in a fabulous location.

I was in a room that was the very very last room in the hotel on my floor away from the elevator but it backed up to a street and the garbage trucks were out all night long and it was incredibly noisy the second night we were there. But that was my only problem other than that the hotel is absolutely beautiful. The rooms are really good size and it was absolutely a perfect location.

The staff were exceptional and made a wonderful stay even better. Their kindness and attention to detail made the hotel feel like a warm cozy home in the middle of a crazy, bustling NYC. The location was in a quiet area full of wonderful restaurants and a short walk to all the tourist attractions. The hotel food was amazing and the rooms were small, but very functional and clean.

I was so pleasantly surprised by this hotel! The staff was wonderfully attentive and thoughtful, the rooms were clean and efficient, and the bed was so comfortable (I spelt great)! Great location, too! Very comfortable, great shower, especially coming in after a late fun night. Very relaxing and private.
