Mondrian Park Avenue

Friendly welcome. The team are great. The communal areas need more regular cleaning and TLC Room with balcony was lovely but water temperature cool and no bedside table or desk space to work. Bar was lovely and views great but again needs a refurb. The breakfast box is okay - water, apple, yoghurt and a cereal bar. The Murray Hill Diner a few minutes away is a good option. Good location.

Great location, checked me in early and accommodated a paid upgrade.

The room shown in pictures, on the website while booking, was not the one in person, much smaller. As such had to upgrade, since stayed for almost a week. Unfortunately the breakfast room was not functional yet and credits to a coffee shop, a block away, bit hard to get to in the cold mornings of NYC. Please do consider putting in a coffee machine like a Nespresso in the room and perhaps a music speaker system and/or a radio. The hotel is great on design and one would have expected these basic in room amenities from the Mondrian.

I hope they open the rest of the hotel facilities soon. closed due to covid

Fancy, location and environment

The hotel doesn’t have breakfast at the hotel and lack of Amenities. One of the elevators were out of order and had to wait long lines to get to the room The bedroom didn’t have coffee maker

The Mondrian feels like a really solid 4 start Hotel. The property is clean, well maintained and the rooms (do yourself a favor and pick the Premier King) spacious and well equipped. The location is fantastic and the vouchers they give you for a breakfast and Blank Slate will cover most of your breakfast expenses. Make sure to check out the Rooftop bar - the views are great and the drinks pretty cheap.

The only let down of this hotel are the lack of a doorman, more proactive front desk employees (no greeting when you get it) and ability to have breakfast or a proper meal in the hotel.

I really love the room, it was comfortable, with lot of space, modern look and the bed was the best !!! with space to put the luggage and a wardrobe. very Chic and modern. I would prefer wood floor instead of carpet but that’s my opinion. pets are allowed. Nice view, we were on the 9th floor. breakfast was included and that was a plus but the quality can be improved. The room was cleaned everyday, with nice smell. the sheets were amazing. the bathroom also was spacious and luminous. Mondrian Park it’s a great choice for the hotel and the location.

the breakfast was not great, pastries or bread weren’t fresh, I would change that for something else. although it was an overall great experience at Mondrian

Everything! it’s truly a 4 star hotel, but I would rate it 5 star if they have a gym in the hotel. it’s a super chic hotel with amazing staff. The beds and pillows were comfortable. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was bigger than standard New York size and they even brought an extra bed free of charge! since the restaurants in the hotel were still under renovation, they gave us $20 voucher per person every day for breakfast for 8 days! the coffee shop was just behind the hotel and they had really good food and numerous options.

just the Wi-Fi connection. it was super slow, so we were using our phones.

Rooms are big for NYC standards for a couple to stay. Rooms were clean with nice bathrooms, though carpet could use refreshing. Convenient location in terms of getting uptown, downtown, and Westside.

Breakfast was an afterthought that was not worth eating. Unfair to charge a facilities fee for the lack of selection and quality. Facilities are lacking overall. The first floor restaurant & bar are closed. Terrace is accessible at night but no bar service & only used as space to serve awful breakfast. Seems like they've been under new management for long enough to get this worked out by now.
