this will sound really fussy, but two small things: I loved that you thought of putting a magnifying mirror into the bathrooms . . . but I am 5ft 3in and shortsighted without glasses, it was too far away to lean over the bathroom bench to see. Maybe put in on the wall on an extendable arm so it can also be lowered or raised to suit? Second thing: would have loved another tea choice - peppermint tea please! Would have also loved to be able to select just a bedside light on rather than having to use the Master and get all lights. But these are tiny things . . .!

The location of this hotel is amazing. Right next to Hyde Park. If you’ve booked a room with a view of the park you’re in luck. The metrostation St. James is directly opposite the hotel, so only a 1 min walk with suitcases and the metro takes you straight to/from the airport, both domestic an international terminals. De breakfast buffet is amazing, so much choice, also for celiacs (plenty of gluten free options). The staff at the breakfast buffet is amazing too, especially Vincent. He helped us out with shopping suggestions. The pool on the 18th floor is amazing too. The hotel is right next to all amazing shopping Sydney has to offer such as Myers, David Jones department store, Mecca Maxima, etc. Next time we’re in Sydney we’re definitely staying here again. Oh and there IS free wifi contrary what the hotel website claims. Both in the lobby as in the rooms.

The rooms are wonderful. Large, stylish, and very comfortable. The hotel is always of a very high standard and i always enjoy staying there. Service is good and location is excellent. Very easy by train or taxi.

Checkin is typically quite slow often with one demanding guest hogging the attention. There should be some form of manager to take these guests to one side as its generally a weekly experience of mine. Also there is some construction on castlereagh street that can be noisy at night time. I had to move rooms once as the noise was too loud to sleep. The hotel should be across this as when i called reception to complain they didnt seem aware of the nearby construction site.

The room was very spacious and felt luxurious. It had a large bed and a sitting area, as well as an office desk. There was a walk in closet to store you luggage so that it wasn't in the way. The bathroom was also very spacious and felt luxurious, with both a bath and a shower. The hotel was well situated with just a short walk to shops, as well as the rocks.

The options were park view of city view when booking the rooms so we paid for a park view room. Upon arrival we noted that it wasn't really park view but rather partial park view as most of the view looked into other rooms of the hotel. I would recommend the hotel update its room categories to include 'partial park view rooms'. I don't think it value for money to spend the same as someone who is going to get a full view of the park.

- The room was spacious, with a king bed and a desk. I was able to work and sleep in it comfortably - Everything was clean - Location is great within the CBD, easy access to virtually everything - Breakfeast food was good, I enjoyed the variety

- The prices of the minibar in the room are just absurdly expensive - The bar/breakfeast area was not enticing at all. Compared to the Fullerton for example, this one is a bit sad really - I got a voucher for a free drink at the bar (nice), but only awful wines were available (bad). To the point where I regretted picking the white, i'd rather get nothing than that... Awkward for a "5 stars".

What an experience! There are hotel groups you can never go wrong like Sheraton. When you think customer service and facilities are not to expect in Sydney, Sheraton can restore your trust. From classy floor tiles and walls, welcome drinks, lovely shower heads.... I think there is a standard customer service every staff should keep up - no single grumpy staff met!Well done to the Management! Heated pool, spa, breakfast spread..... Did I say location is perfect for shopping, restaurants and access to public transport? Small details like a cake slice for my daughter celebrating her birthday during our stay topped it all!! Big thank you, will definitely come back soon. Highly recommended.

The location of the hotel is fantastic, and I was thrilled to find that it was situated in close proximity to all of the major tourist attractions. This made exploring the city an effortless and enjoyable experience. Furthermore, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made me feel right at home. They were always helpful and available whenever I needed them, and they went the extra mile to ensure all my needs were met during my stay. The cleanliness of the room and hotel in general was impressive, and the housekeeping staff were efficient in ensuring that my room was always in pristine condition. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at your hotel, and I can confidently say that it was one of the best hotels I have stayed in. I would highly recommend your hotel to anyone visiting Sydney and will definitely consider staying with you again on my next visit.

the breakfast can be improved.

It is the best located hotel we have stayed in so far. With the park on one side and shopping area on the other what more can anyone ask for??? It also catered well especially for family activities during the Easter season we stayed there. Would like to be able to pay excessive compliments to the hotel manager especially, NAUMAN HASAN, who seem to do an excellent job in managing the place - from the hotel staff, the facilities. We were particulary impressed at how well he managed huge crowds at the dining area. Your staff are very well trained and impressive.

The foyer is a welcoming site especially the beautiful big flowers at the stairs Amee, the welcoming receptionist, helped me with my room request and was very patient. She offered me room options and I was very happy with the room. The room was clean, especially the headboard. The room was spacious. The bed was comfy! we loved the french pillows! The bathroom smelled clean and actually clean! To have a bathtub was a bonus for a sooting and relaxing bath! The buffet breakfast has a myriad options for halal, vegan, Asian and continental breakfast! We're really happy with the flavoursome steamed and grilled veges! We loved the fresh sweet watermelon, rock melon and honeydew! How about the fresh cream and fluffy pancakes! This beats the other pancake restaurants! And the great chefs cooked us fresh omelettes and were very admirable in handling a number of orders. My cappuccino and flat white were great! The gym facilities were great too with updated threadmills and weight training equipment. After a threadmill run, I used the steam sauna. The changeroom was always kept clean! There were staff who replenished the towels for the swimming pool! It was great to relax at the heated pool. And a dip at the heated jacuzzi was nice too but a bit too hot for us. Not to mention the great location of the hotel, in front of the beautiful Hyde Park and a stones throw away at James Station and Westfield shopping centre. Overall it exceeded our expectation of a five star hotel! I used to work at a Marriott hotel and Sheraton really made a mark during our second time of staying here! Kudos to Sheraton team

The small fridge without a freezer. BUT it's not a biggie!

The best hotel, and great location. Beds are so comfortable and staff super friendly, awesome breakfast so much choice I LOVED the fact I could have a piccolo for coffee not just basic coffee. Honestly the hotel hotel stay I have ever had. Door man remembered my name every time which was a nice touch. Spacious rooms. Had a fantastic spa experience too. Top top hotel.

The bar / lounge area was not open at all during my stay, I would have liked somewhere to go to work and have a coffee, only the main restaurant was available.
