This hotel is in a great location. it’s newly renovated and very clean. The rooms are specious with plenty of wardrobe and draw space. We had a small kitchenette, with good a coffee and tea supply and all cutlery and dishes necessary if we needed to order in. no room service. The bar on the top floor was ambient and great for a night cap!

Entertaining the hotel can be confusing as the entrance is dark and moody with a small desk and I imagine most people assume this is reception, but it’s just Concierge. The staff weren’t overly clear and assume you know where to go but somehow we worked out that the reception and check in is on the 20th floor. I saw this happen several times while waiting for the lift. Confused guests and not overly helpful concierge.

the pool was a great feature of the hotel. studio king felt roomy, was lovely and comfortable, amenitites were new. nice views of the city. perfect location in the city close to bars and restaurants. had drinks at dean and nancy before dinner which was a fantastic NY vibe bar.

the lift system needs to be fixed ASAP. our key card only gives us access to our floor, so we had to wait 15 mins for it to arrive on our floor every time we tried to use it(!!) as other people were picked up from reception and dropped off at their floors first. it is a terrible lift system, why is this even a thing? it's inefficient and there is already a well tested and proven way to operate lifts in hotels. open the card access to every floor so people can get on and off as the lift goes up and down.

Very nice and modern and clean. Great location. 

We called several times to have items delivered to the room and they did not arrive. We had to wait several hours and call again.  there seems to be a disconnect between the concierge and the housekeeping staff.

The dishwasher ran for two days, imagine two days of beeping! Issue with dishwasher was not addressed despite bringing this up with the front desk and housekeeping. No vent or blower in the bathroom. The whole bathroom becomes a steam room mess when you take a hot shower leaving the walls and mirrors wet when you’re done.

Location was excellent, close to light rail and walking distance of most things. In my case walking distance of medical service I was attending. Although the hotel is adjacent to Metro construction, it was quiet at night and on the weekend. Mini kitchen was well appointed, inclusions were good, staff were friendly and mostly had up to date advice. If travelling by public transport it is extremely convenient.

We were told parking was on site, it is close by if you are walking, but a nuisance after dropping luggage, as you can't turn right into Pitt Street. Similarly when collecting the vehicle, you have to do a big loop around to get back to the hotel to collect luggage/passengers. The restaurant had good service but was quite basic.

Really small things but they all make a difference to everyday use 1. Fan in bathroom. Is there one? It needs something better than what is there. 2. Hand wash always needs to be the one closest to the sink, not the hand lotion. 3. Hunter products are nice but the labeling is terrible……the name of the product needs to be much more easily seen and read. Older folks struggle reading that fine print. Poor labeling . 4. Service at breakfast was very average. The waiters are too slow to get water to tables and take orders. There was no way I was going to tip them for that service.

The hotel has a really nice vibe, its modern and a little different to other hotels. The bar on 22nd floor Dean and Nancy's is really nice, with great cocktails. Reception is on level 21 with a great view, friendly and welcoming staff. A nice way to welcome guests new to the hotel. Alacarte Breakfast was great. Really nice facilities, bar in our room was a great touch, curtains automated, kitchen facilities were good with nice appliances, coffee pods, teas supplied. Piped music was great, giving a nice relaxed feel. You can even download the hotels playlist via Spotify :-) Straightener and blow dryer provided. I would stay again. Definitely would recommend.

We stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment. The bedroom was tight, not much room between the end of the bed to the window , only about a foot so it felt a little cramped and not much room to put 2 suitcases.

Our two bed apartment was a decent space for our needs, beds comfortable and separate bathrooms was great. Kitchenette useful and laundry facilities invaluable. Nice small pool. Staff were very friendly and responsive to email queries. Great location and ideal for being near the harbour and centre for shopping.

A few maintenance things niggled, that just needed checking before letting the room - showed drainage poor in en-suite. Vacuuming checked. But on the whole nothing really a problem. We were ok not having breakfast as Pitt St so close for variety of food.

The property is well located in the heart of the city, easy walking distance to the Rocks, restaurants and shopping.

I booked this hotel and room type because it had a balcony with opening doors for fresh air at night. Unfortunately the automated blinds and curtains were a real issue as you could not have the doors open without all blinds open …turning the bedroom and apartment into a fishbowl. These blinds also opened and closed several times in the middle of the night which was very disruptive .. without my touching the screen! Although I liked the hotel, on-site restaurant and pleasant staff, I would not stay here again because of this issue. The hotel engineers did offer to turn off the automation but it would mean all blinds either up or down permanently making it extremely dark during the day or open to all surrounding buildings day and night.

design is bit weird, the location of the bedroom and living can be switched, to be more private, the bed should not be in the 1st position to be seen directly after opening the door. living room TV is on the weird position to watch from sofa. Basin in bathroom is way too small. Cleanness can be improved, I found water bottle cap on floor from the previous customer. Air conditioner heater is not so strong.
