The Dominick Hotel

Great view from our corner room in the 42nd floor (SoHi) over Downtown, Soho and a little bit to the left we could see the 6th Avenue all the way up to Empire State Building. The room is very spacious (compared to other hotels in NYC), the kingsize bed was very comfy. I recommend booking a room in the SoHi category, because it has the most stunning views. You can even save a trip on the big observation plattforms, because you basically have that view from your hotel room.

You could feel the hotel is a little bit aged, but except from a few little flaws (having a small puddle in the bathroom after showering), it's still well maintained. The in-room air conditioning / heater is really loud and you wake up at night once it fires back up after idling for a while. So just cool down the room before going to sleep and leave it shut off for the night. But the hotel is really a lot about the amazing views - so you don't care that much about it.

Staff were very friendly. View was incredible. Cassandra and Jose were great hosts and looked after us. Opening the curtains with a button.

Couldn't find an ironing board. A few dated features in the room, such as the Cisco phones in the bathroom

the location is the best you can ask in Soho, walking distance from all best restaurants, shops etc. view from the room is spectacular. ask for a high floor if you can. also just one min walk there’s a metro station. the facilities are excelente. a very good service from staff. we will definitely come back to The Dominick.

Lobby is very nice , but missing vibrante atmosphere. I heard they are about to open a new club at the hotel so it may give it the necessary vibe.

The location was fantastic, right at the quiet end of Soho, just steps from the best restaurants. Our room was very large, full of light, with a big comfortable bed and many fluffy pillows. Staff is efficient and quickly met our needs and requests. Oh, good beauty products too.

It’s a big hotel with 43 floors so overall it comes out as rather impersonal. The decor is drab and calls for some renovation. Pool is underwhelming. The lobby/reception room resembles some kind of a station, with many passerby’s going through. 

The Dominick is in a fantastic location, on Spring St- a short walk into the hustle and bustle of Soho. The hotel itself meets expectations from the moment you walk in, helpful friendly staff, a really cool lobby and communal areas - and it smells fantastic! The room was good- large for NYC, the bathroom also large with great shower, full size bath and good lighting. The bed was amazing- the comfiest i've ever slept in. Highly recommend.

There were a couple of little glitches, but it would be very unfair of me to go into any detail as they were fixed so quickly that they don't warrant sharing..

Located just a stone throw away from soho, Dominick Hotel is in a prime location. The room was very clean, modern and equip with switch operated blinds. The 1 bedroom suite has a total of 2 bathrooms, which is very convenient.

We found out that this hotel is in fact a Trump hotel. The receptionist that checked us in was rude. Any floor under 23rd doesn’t have much of a view, however we were on the 9th floor and got a fair amount of light.

Incredible view with a very comfortable bed and bedding. Staff was very attentive and helpful. wonderful free coffee set up on 7th floor. The location is outstanding. Shopping and restaurants all near by.

Elevator buttons very hard to see. Needed to use iPhone light to see the floor numbers. Main restaurant closes too early. Could not get a drink at 10:15pm and not open Sunday evening. Concierge wearing a mask was a bit weird. But we are from Florida so maybe some in NYC are living in fear.

Beautiful views from the higher floors. The rooms are very spacious (by New York standards) and very clean. They have also smart details such as a separate sink and a Nespresso machine at the minibar. You can also open the window which makes you less dependent on air conditioning. The blue, red and green subway are near.

Some of the rooms are now a bit aged.

This is an exceptional hotel. We had a SOHi Suite and the floor to ceiling views were unbelievable. The bed and linens were so comfortable. The bathroom facilities and toiletries were great. We ordered a quick lunch and breakfast in our room - and while the food was pricey - it did not disappoint. We didn’t use either but the mini bar was stacked-and great snacks too. We even marveled of the power converter they thoughtfully had in the room if we needed. The iPad to order our in room dining was also very clever! Everyone in the facility was genuinely helpful and thoughtful. It was a great stay-and we hope to be back!

Very little-but I’d I had to pick one thing it would be a slightly bigger tub. I’m almost six feet and it was a little small.
