The Broome

The Broome is a lovely, comfortable boutique hotel. Our room was small (it's NYC, not complaining!) but comfortable and the bathroom was gorgeous. The inner courtyard felt like a special hideaway and the complimentary breakfast set up was a treat - the staff person who manages the breakfast and makes coffee drinks to order was especially lovely. Bonus is that SoHo Bubble Spa next door is an excellent nail salon where I was able to get a last minute mani/pedi before an event.

The location was super convenient to SoHo, the village, the Lower East Side, etc. but Broome Street itself is a popular route for folks heading to the Holland Tunnel and can turn into a messy and loud traffic jam - heads up to folks planning on relying on Ubers, especially around rush hour.

My partner and I stayed in the Penthouse suite for our 8night stay in New York. The room had everything we wanted from good storage, great huge bathroom, fridge, basically everything you can’t find in an nyc accomodation. The breakfast was amazing and coffee was great too. Location was also perfect for our dream soho stay!! The courtyard was great too. We were there in the middle of winter and coming from Australian summer, the temp was freezing for us so we didn’t use it much, but it was great to get some fresh air and also to be able to experience the snow fall on a rooftop 😊

Not sure anything could have been improved.

We had a wonderful stay at the Broome Hotel! the property is in the heart of My favorite part of the city, central to SOHO, little Italy, Nolita, Greenwhich Village. for just a short two day trip the location couldn’t had been more convenient for our needs. The complimentary breakfast was just enough to start each day, offered in the sweetest Parisian cafe style setting. There is also an open air courtyard that adds a nice touch. Easily found on street parking right in front! it’s not a crazy busy street but still so close to everything. The Broome offered subtle sophistication with an old world touch that is becoming a rare find!

The rooms are a touch small but ceilings high. I actually found it quite cozy.

The very best experience we had in a hotel in New York. We've been to NY a couple of times and this was by far the best accommodation experience we had. The Broome Hotel is a nice and cozy hotel near Soho with a lot of personality. The rooms are very well designed with all the amenities (and more) you might need. The interior garden makes the place iconic, and the breakfast helps you to get up in the morning as you can smell the recently baked croissants and fresh coffee. The best part was this: the staff. We left an item in another hotel in Niagra Falls and they helped us retrieve it. When I say 'help' I mean that they received the object for us, waited patiently for us to arrange the pick up of the object from Spain (weeks!!!), and were always able for us when encountering several problems with the delivery company. It was a pleasure to deal with them and feel that our situation mattered to them. I want to publicly thank you for your work and support.

Lovely, small and quiet hotel in the middle of bustling Soho. Rooms are very clean, comfortable and pretty. The central courtyard that goes up through the whole building is beautiful and unique. On the ground floor this courtyard is where the cafe resides and you can have coffee, tea and some yummy breakfast items like eggs on mini-bagels or yogurt cups with fruit. We will be back. All staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Last, our friends stayed in the penthouse and it is lovely, with a patio with loungers and a long table to hang out.

Nothing - it was all good.

The location is great, We've travelled many times to NY but its the 1st time we've slept in the SOHO. We loved the location, near many shops, restaurants, everything open till late. We didn't see any homeless people on the streets in this district and for us it was a major bonus. The hotel is very nice and pampering, we've arrived early in the morning after a domestic night flight and were very happy to get a breakfast invitation and then all our luggage and waiting amazon packages were transferred to our room. The breakfast is excellent - eggs and croissant (European quality) , served in a nice place and in a pampering way. All the staff (receptionists, breakfast preparer) are really working hard to give U a welcome homey feeling. We've asked for everyday housekeeping and were very happy to return to a clean organised room .

We had the smaller room which was quite small and the window was to the patio, I prefer outside windows.

The location (near NYU Broome dorm) was perfect for visits with NYU student. Shops and restaurants nearby were conveniently located. Corner spa offered many grooming services including massages.

Would have appreciated Room Service. At times, we did not feel like walking around and just wanted to order food from the hotel to enjoy in our room. The hotel did offer room service at some point in time, but that service was no longer available. It would've been lovely.

Great hotel, great staff and very good location

If you prefer small hotels, then the Broome is the best place to stay. The staff is exceptionally nice and attentive. The complementary breakfasts were a big surprise. It was so good that we even cancelled our brunch at Balthazar just to enjoy from one more breakfast. The location is perfect if your focus is on SOHO, Little Italy, Nolita, Greenwich Village and NOHO. All within walking distance. All in all, a great experience.

Very friendly staff. The terrace belonging to the Penthouse was amazing. Being in the heart of Soho, a lot of attractions (WTC, Little Italy, Chinatown, etc) are within walking distance.

The breakfast was qualitatively very good but could do with some more variety.
