The location is amazing! Close to everything and very well connected. The beds are very comfortable and the bathroom is the perfect size with hot water never running out. I think that the size of their standard room is actually great for 2 adults with small suitcases. There was a wardrobe and an office so I didn’t find it tiny as other reviews mentioned. Also the staff is very friendly and eager to help!

A small fridge would be great as we travelled with 31 degrees Celsius and would love to have some cold water. Also a shelf inside the shower would be very handy! However, these weren’t really an issue for us.

I really liked the view from the roof, comfortable bed, and bathroom style. Good for a single traveler.

Every time someone left their hotel room the doors slammed really loudly. Not the best for light sleepers. I hope that gets fixed.

- Fantastic location to explore Chelsea and the West Village, access to subway right around the corner for everything else. - Beautiful interior design and high end finishes throughout. - Pretty quiet despite central location in the heart of a lively neighborhood. - Smaller hotel gives a more intimate, homey atmosphere than larger chain hotels

- Room itself is very small, although the bathroom was spacious. Small rooms are to be expected in NYC so that's not really a surprise. - The room doors slam when closed and that's pretty loud in this otherwise quiet hotel. - No shelf inside the shower to put soap, shampoo, etc.

Lobby and decor was great. The 24/7 coffee shop in the lobby and rooftop were amazing. The location was great as well.

The room was quite small, although that is probably too be expected in NY. However, the big issue was the noise. The room doors were not even remotely sound proof. You could hear every word and door closing in the hallway. Made it really difficult to sleep well.

The hotel is nice and cozy, rooms are small but comfortable. Stayed in a corner queen and it was bright with 2 sets of windows. It does get loud from the streets, but you get to see the Empire State from your room, so it pays off. All in all, a good central stay if you plan to be out and about in NYC.

Cleaning was done every day, but we had to ask for toiletries restocking, which I would’ve assumed it’s obvious. The coffee in the lobby, when it worked, was underwhelming, so I suggest you stick with the one from the Deli across the street.

I have been traveling to New York City regularly over the last decade for both business and pleasure, and The Moore is by far the best hotel I’ve experienced in all of Manhattan & Brooklyn. It’s stylishly located in Chelsea, nestled in a very quiet, clean & safe colonial street. It’s location is very convenient for anyone who wants to have a quiet stay but also wants to be a quick walk or train ride away from bars, clubs, and restaurants- it’s the perfect place for anyone who frequents the West Village for a unique night out on the town. I stayed in an outward facing room and was surprised by how spacious and stylish the room was presented. The room itself was sound proof, with the exception of limited noise coming from the hallway, I rarely heard other guests as everyone was very respectful in the common areas, and the neighborhood itself was quiet and far enough from any noisy hustle and bustle you would expect from Manhattan. The bed and rooms are comfortably serviced daily and I slept like a baby every evening. The bathrooms were heaven- I seriously spent both my mornings and evenings melting away in the shower. And the provided complementary Maison Margiela bath products are a superb touch of luxury for anyone who wants to experience what this chic boutique hotel has to offer. The cafe and bar in the lobby is stylishly inviting and open 24 hours with an attendant, which you will never find anywhere else! It’s beautifully curated with local coffees, pastries and wines- a convenient luxury for anyone who needs a morning espresso on their way out to explore, or for the guest who is stumbling back to their hotel room from a very late night out and in need of pick-me-up or a nightcap. But the most impressive quality of this trendy boutique hotel experience and what stands out from all other accommodations is The Moore’s modish staff. Every single staff member, from who checked me in/out to who made my bed every morning, was phenomenal.

Absolutely nothing to dislike about this property.

The staff were all amazing!! We interacted with several different staff members and they were all super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We arrived very early and they accommodated us for an early check in with no problem. We simply went to a neighborhood cafe for breakfast and they texted us when the room was ready. Communication throughout our stay via text was helpful and appreciated. There are tons of amazing restaurants and bars within just a couple of blocks. The neighborhood is safe and has access to transit and anything else you need within a block. Easy walk to the theatre district and to the west village as well. The rooftop patio was an amazing bonus. Unfortunately, we were never there when the bar was open, but we just purchased drinks from the lobby bar/café and took them up for a nightcap every evening - most evenings we had the place to ourselves!! Room design was great, super comfortable and very clean. Hugely impressed by the service, location, value for money....we found our new favourite place to stay in NYC!

The hotel is very well organized. Everything seems to be taken care for you. The staff is great and they are very helpful. The room is a tiny bit smaller than expected but still a very good size for a couple for few days. Nice desk for working and super comfy bed. Super clean in general.

I would like to see a step up to the TV, I wish they had some Netflix or Max integration. The current ones are not smart from my understanding. Also because the room is a bit small and New York is dirty, I would love to see a small show rack for two pair of shoes. Finally, the gym needs a cable machine, as for now it has the minimum weights and cardio equipment.

The vibe of the hotel is really cool. It's understated but stylish and just feels warm and inviting. The staff are excellent; engaging, helpful and kind. Also, bonus points for running all the systems and being incredibly talented baristas - they take their coffee seriously here! The rooms, though small, are really quite comfortable and appear to be really high quality. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was super clean. The fitness room is minimal but the machines (elipitcal, bike, treadmill) are brand new and high end. There are sets of dumbbells up to 25lbs with some singles at 30lbs and 35lbs accompanied by an adjustable bench. You can make due here but perhaps a partnership with a gym nearby could be an opportunity.

Great location, lovely rooftop, nice FOH staff. We stayed in an interior queen room that was facing the courtyard so no noise from outside. Comfy bed (although the mattress was a bit soft), good water pressure, the window in the room could open, possibility of pre-arrival check-in. We erroneously got charged for an item from the minibar but received a refund immediately upon flagging it, highly appreciated!

The room was on the smaller side, e.g. space for one bedside table only. It would have been great with a few separate hooks for the hand towels. The sink tap was inconvenient, in order to get hot water you need to turn on the cold water and then keep turning the tap 180 degrees, which means that the pressure gets unnecessarily strong, but can’t be modified.
