Hotel Richland LES

Great hotel, we got our room upgraded, the bed was comfortable, the room was clean, the bathroom was big (also spotless), the bed had nice sheets, the room was warm (first week of march 2023), the personnel was polite and very helpful. They had complementary water (2 water bottles in the room and a filtered water machine in the lobby), coffee and tea in the lobby. They let us check in early for free (because our room was ready) and they stored our bags at checkout, also for free. The Brooklyn bridge is at walking distance and we were able to go out at night to bars/clubs (also walking distance or by bus -it has a bus stop right outside-). A very pleasent stay.

The temperature of the water in the shower was hot enough but not scalding (not everyone likes their showers really hot, I do). And the only thing I didnt like so much about this hotel is the location, we had everything at walking distance, but since we are two girls travelling by ourselves, returning late at night was a concern.

The place is super well located! Chinatown is not a fancy neighbour but it’s completely safe. You can see the Chrysler building at the end of the street from the door, the metro is closeby, and you can walk easily and safely to NoLiTa and even midtown in less than an hour; everything is less than 20 mins away on the metro. Beds were super comfy, there was free coffee and cold/hot water. The housekeeping stuff kept the place spotless, despite us leaving the room very late most days. The room size is fine for two people with carry on luggage and there’s some hangers for blazers and dresses. Thanks for everything!

The A/C was not straightforward to operate, but I am writing this here so that if that happens to anyone else, just contact reception. They will help sort it out, and you won’t have to lose sleep like I did for the first nights because I didn’t ask. There is noise from the trains, but after a couple of nights and with earplugs I got completely used to it (and I am a very, very bad sleeper). I would maybe have had a different experience if I was staying in the rooms right by the reception (you can see them in the reception pic). Those rooms wouldn’t be suitable for a long, tiring trip like ours, so maybe the management could re-consider having those on offer.

Room is good size for two, we used additional bed to store things. It is well maintained Comfortable bathroom The location is convenient for various underground lines and of course next to Chinatown and Little Italy Walking distance to Brooklyn Bridge Nice coffee places close by Friendly staff

Forewarned by previous reviews we took travel pillows and rightly so. The ones they have are big and hard (as opposite to bed that is bit too soft) No fridge

our stay at hotel Richland with the breakfast included made a lot of other expensive activities inNYC possible. this hotel is in the heart of Chinatown and downtown nyc, with in a hops skip and jumpy to 2 well connected metros. travel and stay economically sorted . The owner Mr Law ,front desk staff mr Hafeez and the minimal staff made sure everything is taken care of. if you need a clean bed to come back to at the end of a hectic, exciting day in nyc, hotel Richland sure is the place to be .

come early or might get limited items for breakfast. it’s first come first serve. the staff do try to help out though.

Located within a short walk to East Broadway subway Station and within walking distance of many areas of Manhattan. This is a little gem of a hotel, small but clean, comfortable and really good value for money.. Our room had two double beds and a bathroom with amazing views of Msnhattan Bridge. Best thing for me was how quiet the room was, no external noise at all (7th floor). Hotel also held our bags free of charge on check out. Loads of eating places nearby as well as atm's and convenience store. Would seek to stay here again.

A little compact in our room with little space for clothes, but as this was the only inconvenience we did not mind at all.

The staff is extremely friendly and able to give good tips about restaurants and other informations. The location is very appropriate as several metro lines are max 5 minutes walking (F is the nearest, but B and D are very close). The room was clean and towels were changed everyday. Coffee is available in the room with daily refeels.

Surrondings are not extremely nice (but I always felt very safe even late in the night) and the room is not really big. Windows could be a bit more clean and soundproof (but overall since the street does not have a lot of trafic the noise was not a problem). Noise from other rooms was way much higher than from the street. When asked to prolong the stay the prices from the hotel were way much higher than on Booking.

Pleasant boutique hotel on the cusp of Chinatown and NY´s LES (Lower Eastside), close to stores, restaurants and public transportation. The front desk staff were helpful and the room was comfortable with a large in-wall safe.

The price fluctuations. However, it's like airline prices, they go up and down. But, it's crazy for something to be $200 at one point and jump to $500 per night, another time. Well, that's the hospitality industry in major cities. Not a fault of the hotel, but shocking, especially for three star places. Note: Book as early in advance as you can, to lock in the best rates.

the excellent breakfast, the perfect location in everything is close: Brooklyn and Manhattan bridges, buses in front, suway, little Italy, Chinatown, the Battery Park to visit the Statue of Liberty, It is a fairly cheap hotel; its very attentive and cordial staff especially Hafeez Rehman assistant front desk manager

We had a great stay in the hotel. The front desk employees were very nice and very helpful. The room was a good size however there were four of us and four suitcases but no problem since we only were at the hotel to sleep. Location was good, lots of places nearby to eat and a short walk to the subway. Some people might not feel totally comfortable walking around when it is dark but me and my three kids did it every night when we came home. Beds are very comfortable. Good shower. AC worked well. Quiet in the rooms. Definitely recommended.

Just the location sometimes at night walking from the subway. It wouldn't be to everyone's liking.
