The room was lovely and the staff were nice, good central location

The buffet breakfast wasn’t as good as I thought for the price point and the internet didn’t work so we could not stream to the tv during our stay unfortunately.

The room was good, it was clean and the styling was a nice change from the modern minimalist hotels - the sink vanity had a nice charm to it. The mini fridge was more powerful than other hotels I've been to, some only slightly cool it but this one seemed to properly chill drinks and food. The staff were friendly and accommodating as we arrived a little early and gave us options to a request before checking into our room. The pool, sauna and jacuzzi were good to visit and had a pleasant transparent ceiling.

There were no photos of the spa bath so I hoped for it to be a large square one but it was a regular sized one so if you're a particularly tall human who likes to indulge in hotels this one wont fit you. (Though there is a jacuzzi on the top floor) The sink was very small and barely fit the provided kettle into it to fill it up. The elevators were a little slow (though one was out of service at the time)

Helpful staff on arrival helping sort parking. Easy to access via tram and walk everywhere in city great location. Excellent facilities and good sized room.

We arrived back late after a concert and ordered room service 11.30pm, everything we ordered and paid for was not available, what arrived was three pies you could buy at Coles for $2.50 each, we were charged $68.00!!!! Absolutely ridiculous.

The beds were very comfortable, and the room was quiet. The location is perfect. The guest laundry is free to use, the pool and gym are excellent. The staff were loverly and Nikki looked after as well, she was kind helpful and a total pleasure to deal with. We also visited Harry's Bar on the 12th and there was 12 of us, tge staff were loverly and the food was excellent.

When we arrived we were meet by a very rude man on the desk, and when we said we were early could we leave our bags he made the comment " yes you are very early" . The frist room they put us in had a broken door, the second had a constantly running toilet the bathroom was very dated, and I didn't use the spa as there was nothing to say it had been deep cleaned. The rooms need some TLC.

as always location is excellent. After reviewing recent reviews I was concerned as to how we would find the hotel (this was our 4th visit- but the first since covid), but I needn't have been concerned as the hotel presented as it always had! We had an apt unit overlooking the street - well designed and good use of space, furnished well, good lighting, everything worked - what more can one says but very good value. Yes some things were dated eg carpet, tiling around the tub, but they really didn't need replacement.

This is only a small point. I felt that hotel was more like 4.5 stars, not 5 stars. Comfortable but not luxurious That is OK because it is considerably cheaper than other 5 star rated hotels in melbourne. Staffing level felt a bit low- probably needs more staff to claim 5 star level of service. Also would help to have more info in the room about the hotel services, city map, local features etc. It feels as if the hotel is skimping by cutting costs on such things which are expected in 5star hotels

The pool area, spa and gym are great for adults and I guess kids as the water is all heated. The common areas are old- 80’s style chic. The atrium is really quite spectacular- like something from the Christopher Nolan movie, ‘Inception.’ The bar called ‘Harry’s bar seems to miss out on it’s potential share of revenue as it’s quite often empty. Maybe a revamp as it’s a strange feeling set up.

This would have been a 5 star hotel back in the 80/90’s however it feels a little aged and tired now. The gold taps and fittings are once again back in… however these are a little unloved. The once gorgeous marble tiled bathrooms feel a little aged as well. I’d definitely stay again.

The central location to everything in the CBD was great, and surprisingly very quiet. The staff were very responsive to issues and each was dealt with very quickly. The room was comfortable and the AC worked well. The bathroom was equipped with plenty of towels and a lovely spa bath.

The room was very dark, being hemmed in by other buildings. There was a lovely comfortable couch, but if you wanted to watch the television you had to sit on the bed because the television was in that space and not in the living area. The restaurant was not open the night I arrived, and I was not told that so had to make other arrangements at the last moment., and when it did open the food was good but not particularly inspiring.

Comfy bed, super quiet air-conditioning, We had a large room with a mini-kitchen so had everything we needed for the 3 nights we stayed. Lovely & clean & housekeeping restocked daily, including towels (even though I didn't expect that). Convenient location with only a block or two to different tramlines. Easy walk to Fed Square & riverfront as well as The Princess Theatre. Not many rooms would have a view, but when you are busy out & about in Melbourne, it's not really important. Nice fasts lifts in the building too.

A little picky - but they didn't offer us to hang up towels to re-use.

Fabulous room, everything you may need. Had a small problem with the spa bath, but they got someone out within minutes to come and help solve the problem! Pool and spa were fab, very serene, and lovely to use. Breakfast was amazing, the best hotel breakfast I have had, a great selection of hot and cold food, and fabulous freshly cooked eggs/omelette. Was a very well needed break from the hustle and bustle of the 9-5 and it definitely delivered. I would stay again for sure!

Sauna was out of order during the stay, which is a shame. Staff at reception seemed lovely, but the trainee who checked me in felt unsure and didn't give me all the details or information about my stay, so I needed to ring up reception a few times to confirm things. But overall, nothing major.
