Aliz Hotel Times Square

The location of the hotel was great! It is right in the heart of everything. My family and I felt very safe and secure staying at the Aliz Hotel.

The rooms and bathrooms are small. I also didn’t like the rudeness of one of the hotel staff that called my 73 year old father “stupid” when he asked her for help when we were trying to leave the hotel.

location is great, rooms were decently clean. maintenance had to be called and the man was quick, easy, great to deal with.

we were placed right by the elevator & I’m assuming the room the cleaning staff goes in and out of and unfortunately for us, they were VERY loud. they would slam the door going in and out every morning between 7-9AM.

Everything was clean, the rooms were good. enough space.

The hospitality of the staff wasn’t good, most of the time the people didn’t say a thing when you say goodmorning.

.Front desk host was absolutely wonderful. I believe his name was Joshua. Very attentive and polite and just lovely to speak to.

I didn't like that as a guest I didn't have access to the rooftop bar. The reservation available was way too late. As a guest in the hotel, I feel accommodations should be priority. I just wanted to have a drink and see the view but I was told "NO" multiple times

The location is excellent. The view from the room was great. The room is small if you're staying with more than two people however the room is comfortable with a spacious bathroom. The hotel is also very modern.

The lady that checked us in was not friendly or welcoming. Most of the staff I encountered at the check in desk were lacking in general politeness.

You get up to $20 or $25 spending credit to spend at their indoor snack store.

The location. I know there’s nothing that can be done about homeless folks sleeping right outside the door but it smelled bad and you had to go around them to even get in. There was always a wait line for the elevator and you couldn’t use the third elevator cause it was only for folks visiting the restaurant in the building. Also, definitely missed some spots while cleaning our room prior to our arrival.

Being next to Port Authority was perfect for me. I did not experience any problems with this location. Very secure building. Right around the corner from the Newarkairportexpress bus. No lugging baggage around city. Train/subway access nearby too. I was able to check in right away. 2 free drinks and $25 credit to use was a nice surprise. So was the Peloton studio. No view, room was slightly dark but comfy bed and large shower. Was able to get room key when I arrived. Although, I never received an email of my receipt as requested, check out was easy.

I never got an email my bill as requested. Hallway noise as expected in older buildings.

Excellent location, helpful friendly staff, great central location, comfortable bed/pillows. Room was equipped with all you would need. Stayed 5 nights. Rooftop bar was great.

Breakfast choice was limited but what was available was good. Room was small but typical for NYC. Pricing could be more competitive although we stayed there over Christmas.

offered valet and stored luggage after check out to allow more time to explore the city.

wish there was an option to choose the floor to stay on. not a great view from our room on the 13th floor. Spent quite a bit of time waiting on elevators.
