Hilton Garden Inn New York Times Square South

Clean, comfortable room/hotel in an excellent location. We usually stay in 4-5 star places but needed a cheaper room for this trip - I was a little hesitant initially that it might be a bit dingy or whatnot but my expectations were definitely exceeded and I would 100% stay here again! Staff was very friendly and helpful as well.

Wifi didn't work or was unreliable for part of our stay (mainly overnight & in the early morning)

This was my daughter and myself first ever Mother Daughter trip. I couldn't have picked a better hotel to stay at than the Hilton. Everything was beautiful! Had a great view of the city and close to everything! Most of all, Tim at the Front desk was AMAZING!! He made my daughter's night the first night we stayed in NY. He went completely over and beyond for myself and my daughter. Especially after finding out this was her birthday trip. I would definitely book again with the Hilton Garden Inn Times Square South!

It was a great location based on my work need. They had spacious room, and had amazing bed. I requested for a quiet room coz i was very tired from trainings, and they didn't disappoint. I had a great sleep <3

Great location near Times Square, very spacious room for a NY hotel, impeccably clean, good Covid measures. It was the most pleasant stay in NY so far. Will try to rebook for the next trip for sure. Luggage storage for early check out. Room amenities and facilities were very good, including the coffee machine, microwave and fridge.

The room was very spacious, well decorated, had everything we could need and more. It had a massive TV with lots of channels, a fridge, iron, safe and a coffee machine. The shower was lovely and the room was very clean.

The staff were very friendly and made sure all needs were met at all times. They held our bags even after checkout which was such a great help.

The rooms are pretty small and the beds weren’t the most comfortable.

The location is excellent and it was easy to reach the different parts of the city either on foot or by subway. It was particularly useful to use to be within walking distance of Penn station (we could wheel our suitcases along to there without problem). The room was on the small side but it was satisfactory and all I would expect of New York in this price range. The bed was OK and we slept well enough. It was relatively quiet considering the location and we used the fan to drown everything out.

The restaurant is permanently closed so no breakfast.

I loved how clean it was and how friendly and personable that Ericka was with us. I also like the fact that you need your card to get in...I like to feel secure😊 Overall....i would stay here again and refer a friend.

View was not the best but I did get to watch the Asians making garments, which was different for me. Wish the restaurant located downstairs was open. Also would love for ALL hotels to eliminate carpet! (Personal preference...allergies, dirt, germs, easier to clean)

We chose this hotel based on location and price while attending the US Open. We arrived early in the morning by car, were able to register, store our luggage, and park our car literally feet away from the hotel. The staff are very attentive and quick. We returned late in the evening, received our room key and our stored luggage and were given a room on a higher floor like requested facing the street - and a residential building. No noise heard from the street - amazing for New York. Our room was small, but still ok for NY standards.. the only thing was that the bathroom door touched the double bed, but otherwise ok. There is complementary coffee in the lobby and a few snacks you can purchase. Checkout was quick, we left our luggage again with the front desk. Car was easy to retrieve, staff at the garage were good and no issues with the car. Would stay here again.

The only drawback to this property is the WIFI... it drops all the time, so don't bother.

Great place to stay, All staff are courteous, polite and greet you with a smile and a hello and wish you a great day as you leave the hotel, even if they are in the lift with you that includes cleaning staff as well. The room was serviced every day, You can control temperature from your room. Spacious room, comfy bed, very clean. We stayed 8 nights. Bonus having a coin operated washing machine and dryer available downstairs, but there is only one of each, so you have to time it well. Walking distance to Penn station and metro/subway.

Hotel WiFi was slow at times, but I knew that from previous reviews
