The Doxie Hotel is in a great location! Walking distance from time square and broadway shows! It is a bit hidden and a bit hard to find at first. The price for the location is beyond reasonable! The space for a queen size bedroom is a bit small but if you just need a clean and comfy place to sleep and will be out and about all day then this hotel is the perfect place! I will honestly book here again on my next visit! The two gentlemen at the front desk were very helpful and welcoming! It’s a small hotel and they recognize their guest!

Nice size to bathroom but no toilet set cover to set stuff on, and needed. Quiet. Comfortable beds. Elevator fit 2 with luggage. Room is small with no closet, a few hangars on a rod and 2 shelves, very adequate for a pre-cruise stay. Good open staircase right next to elevator. Great staff. Great location, safe to walk at night.

room a little humid even with AC use. Not much room to open up suitcases. 30 min walk to cruise terminal so we Ubered it.

It’s around the corner of Times Square. Minutes away from the subway and many restaurants nearby.

It’s a narrow lobby hallway. A small elevator wherein only 3 people can fit in. The bunk bed is not stable and making noise when you move. There is no window to see the beauty of the Manhattan. No garage parking but you can park your car at the rental garage parking like 2 blocks away from the hotel. It costs you $110/night.

The location was fantastic! Incredible value for what you get. Rooms are small, but clean and have everything you need. The building is older but the rooms themselves were all recently redone so the rooms feel very new. The front desk staff were also incredibly kind and helpful. They let us check in early and even upgraded our room to a larger suite. Would absolutely stay at this hotel again!

The twin bed was surprisingly comfortable. The location was great, in the garment district, near some touristy stuff. It was my sons first trip to NYC. The staff there was very nice, from check in, she came to fix our TV while we went to get dinner, to check out!

The toilet flushed very loudly. The room was small, but comfortable

Good basic budget hotel. Clean and provided what it said in the description. Good local location although the street outside was quiet so not sure I would have wanted to be coming back alone at night. Staff helpful. Fantastic water pressure in bathroom. Fridge/ freezer in room was helpful. Good internet access. Quite noisy at night, but this is New York... Air conditioning 'OK'.

First, the location was within walking distance of everything, which made it so easy. We loved it so much this will be our next stay when we revisit NY. It has a cute aesthetic once you are in the room. It was small but spacious. This hotel is meant for those who plan to be out all day touring NY and need a clean place to sleep and shower. restroom/shower in the room has no door me & my sister are comfortable with each other, so we had no issue, but if you plan to stay with friends or family is considered that. They had baggage storage which made it easy to keep enjoying NY before heading to airport.

Service does not automatically go in your room to clean and give you more towels without asking for it which made it a bit uncomfortable because we where coming in late.

The shower was awesome, the bed very comfortable, there was a cool view out of the bathroom window and the staff, especially Shane, were excellent. The room was both modern and nostalgic in design and decoration, which I liked.

TV reception and the channel menu were disappointing, the lobby is a little dark, the elevator is a bit slow and the staircase could be a little cleaner. There was no shower gel in the dispenser and a bath tub would have been nice but not absolutely necessary.

We received a free upgrade to a suite with 3 beds as opposed to just the one because the hotel had run out of queen beds. The room was beautiful and we weren't expecting to have a mini fridge but ended up having one. And the hotel is in a great location with a lot of fun stores to visit and yummy food to try
