The hotel is located near subway stations and in a very busy neighborhood. We came back late at night from a broadway show and there was a lot of people on our way back. There is a very good pizza place in the middle of the block and a 7-11 too. Clean and spacious rooms. They look pretty new and well maintained.

Breakfast was good just hectic to get in line. The line was extremely long but went by fast. They need to rethink the layout of the furniture by the elevators so the line doesn't seem so long. They did offer a breakfast bag that you could take from the front desk but did not get it so not sure what was inside. During breakfast hours getting down or to your room was hard since the elevators were extremely busy and one did not seem to be working. We took the stairs bc we were on the lower floors but had a friend staying on floor 21 and she had to deal with this.

We chose to stay here as the price and location were perfect, although the reviews were mixed we decided to take a chance and we were so glad we did! The hotel is a stones throw from Times Square, Bryant park, Madison Square Garden and Fifth Avenue. Our room super clean, although it was small this is expected in New York however it was perfect for 2 of us but just bare in mind the size if you have lots of bags (we had 2 small carry on cases and a 25kg check in case and it was just enough room). Many of the reviews speak about the queues for the elevators however we only found ourselves waiting for one on 2-3 occasions and it was no longer than a minute or 2 wait which was absolutely fine. I can’t say the same for the breakfast queues as we did not make use of this service and decided to do our own thing in the city, however when passing through the lobby the queue didn’t appear to be overly long. The staff that we dealt with personally were super friendly and made sure we were looked after.

If you’re looking for drinks/snacks I would advise going to a nearby shop (there’s 7/11 on the same road or Duane reade/walgreens a street over) as the stuff in the lobby is very overpriced (almost $8 for a Gatorade). Although the room itself was clean, the comforter on the bed was quite grubby looking. We decided to just remove this from the bed and use the other sheets provided as they were perfectly fine.

Really enjoyed our stay here. The location is great, we explored the city walking and it was always a great place to come back to, with amazing restaurants nearby. The staff was lovely and very helpful. Also really enjoyed the view and the room wasn't too small (considering it was a triple room and it's NYC). Finally, the breakfast was a surprise, as it's very complete and w/ a lot of elements prepared in the morning (not just packed items).

The price was a little excessive for what it is (in terms of the comfort of the room and facilities of the hotel...). But, once again, considering the location and that it is NYC, it's understandable.

In general, finding a hotel in New York is a challenge. Choosing an area also requires careful knowledge of the city. Choice is always a matter of compromise, there are things you learn on the spot. If I had to travel and choose a new location now, I would prefer a hotel closer to Lower Manhattan. A little more comes the intrusive for the European smell of a joint that floats around Times Square, as well as the clustering of many homeless people in this area. However, if proximity to public communications is important, the location of the hotel is very good. The rooms are not big but sufficient, there is no big wardrobe but there is an iron and ironing board. The beds are big and very comfortable. Cleaning is daily and maintained to a good standard. The staff is polite and very helpful. The breakfast is very good by American standards (no vegetables) but monotonous. However, there are enough tasty things to eat well. You should go on time, not during the peak hours around 8.00. I find the price/quality ratio excellent. I especially want to express my gratitude to the management of the hotel for the correctness. They refunded the full value of our canceled reservation during the time of COVID-19. One reason to choose the same hotel again.

Nothing to affect our rating overall, little things. The building is narrow but tall (26 floors) and full of guests. The four elevators can hardly handle the flow during peak hours and you may have to wait several minutes before you can move. Breakfast could be better organized to avoid queues. It is hardly a big investment to put two coffee machines in each of the main rooms to make espresso or cappuccino for the European guests, who are the majority according to our observations. For us, American coffee is watery and definitely not to our taste. Orange juice is very good though.

The location was fantastic, a lot of people will tell you not to stay in Midtown Manhattan but it was the best decision I think I've ever made. We were located close to times square but not so close that it was loud and crazy outside. There were many food options so close to the hotel but with the lovely included breakfast we didn't need to use them often. The beds were very comfy and the room was so clean. The view was pretty cool, we had about 25% of a view which is more than we can ask for given the location. The empire state building was also visible.

The fan. Oh the dreaded fan. Luckily I had brought some ear plugs with me but my family did not, if you're a fan of white noise, you'll be in for a treat.

- Location: the hotel is located in the middle of the Garment District, from where you can reach a lot of sights at a walking distance. Everything further afield can be reached perfectly from the 42nd street subway stations (Times Square, Port Authority, Bryant Park) (about an 8 minute walk) - Staff: The staff has been very nice and accommodating throughout. They printed out a form for me and always helped us with any other questions we had. - Room: The size of our room (1020) was adequate. Since there was a small hallway (L-shaped) leading into the room, we were able to store our suitcases there. The shower is good and sufficiently large, the bed comfortable. There is a small refrigerator (empty), in which you can cool self-bought drinks. Furthermore there is a safe, a hair dryer, a large mirror and a large tv with HBO and the possibility to connect your phone via Chromecast. - Other: There was a water dispenser on our floor where you could fill up your water bottles for the day or get ice cubes. At peak times there were waiting times in front of the elevators (there are four of it). Therefore, the recommendation is to get in even if there are already people in or they go up first. Once you're in, you're in ;) Overall, however, it was usually fast. We were 12 days in the hotel and have taken the stairs four times in that time (from the 10th floor down was no problem). From the 26th and highest floor, of course, it can be annoying. The WiFi was good as well. - Breakfast: The breakfast is okay. The coffee from Starbucks is delicious, the available tea as well. Otherwise, there is water, apple juice, orange juice and milk. There is cereal, breakfast flakes, mostly cut fruit, apples (in foil), waffles, bagels, toast, muffins and boiled eggs (in foil). At peak times it can get very crowded, but we always found a seat somewhere and never had to wait for a seat. - Gym: the gym is located in the basement and is well equipped.

Room: The closet is very small and we could only use three hangers there for jackets and dress - more space was not available due to the ironing board and iron. We lacked shower gel by European standards (there is shampoo, body lotion and conditioner) and a toilet brush. It would be an improvement if a coat rack was installed so you could hang your jackets. The air conditioning/heating was unbearably loud, so we turned it off for the entire stay. Since we had good temperatures, you could do that. Nevertheless, there is a need for action here with regard to warmer days. Breakfast: Unfortunately, hot dishes are completely missing. In addition, the use of plastic and paper is to be criticized because no porcelain is used, only disposable products.

Very friendly and helpful staff, clean and modern room and premises. I couldnt expect better location for staying in NY, a lot of attractions are reachable in walking distance! Highly recommended hotel, especially if traveling for the first time.

Very slow elevators, sometimes you need to wait for quite some time to catch it. Sometimes wifi was also slow in the room. A lot of plastic use during the breakfast, which is not environmentally friendly.

After reading some reviews about breakfast lines & lift availability, I was expecting the same. We spent a week there, never waited more than 10 minutes in the breakfast line & never waited more than 2 minutes for a lift on the 19th floor. The staff were helpful & friendly. There are subway stations within a 5-10 minute walk. Great place to stay.

Room was very small, with little to no storage - but it's Manhattan

Other than the misrepresentation of total bill, everything was great! comfy clean facilities, friendly staff, overall great location!

they should have added the daily tax and all additional fees before the room was confirmed. This was only stated at check-in and added close to $200 to the bill. I was not happy about that.
