Truss Hotel Times Square

The location was convenient. A short walk to Times Square and the convention center at Hudson Yards. Loads of places nearby for food. The staff were excellent, friendly and accessible. The person at check-in even took the initiative to move our groups’ rooms when she realised we were a group so that we would all be together/close by on the same floor. The rooms are a good size and have a nice contemporary feel to them (especially the bathroom)

The pillows - They were a weird size - short and lumpy. The lighting in the rooms were a bit on the dim side (I must be getting old)

Fantastic staff at the hotel - all of them! They were very friendly and helpful and especially David who helped us a lot with all of our questions. Clean all over and very large rooms and nice beds. Perfect with a microwave and fridge. Nice view from the roof top in the evening. Aircondition worked extremely well with cool and also heat quickly and not too noisy either. Not to big hotel, so never que at the elevator like I heard of at other hotels in NY. Lot’s of places nearby to eat and very close to the big busterminal at Manhattan.

This is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in in North America. The location was excellent! Staff were very nice and accommodating. The room was exceptionally clean and the bed was super comfortable. The rooftop had amazing views and the gym was very well equipped.

It was next door to a bar and depending on what side of the building you’re on, it could be quite loud, but the bar seemed to close at about 11-12 so as long as you don’t sleep early you should be fine. The room I was in had an iron but not an ironing board. The pillows were too soft so I had to sleep on two. Nearest subway station was about an 8-10 min walk which is pretty far compared to most hotels in NYC, but the location was still excellent, close to Hell’s Kitchen, Times Square and the Hudson River. There were otherwise no problems at all with this hotel.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a king room, which was very spacious and had all the amenities we needed. Great location, a 10 minute walk from Time Square, but still very quiet outside.

Although our room and the rest of the hotel was very clean and neat, the ladies restroom on the ground floor was very dirty and in serious need of some cleaning tlc.

Service, treatment, taking care of my special amenities. Personal connection, they are very nice, a great hotel, highly recommended. David was the best in taking care of me

Only thing that can get improved for those who are traveling for work- Better Wi-Fi in the room. The signal was okay but can get better to help work even faster

Lovely big clean rooms, nice staff and good location. Great cleaners always fresh towels and toiletries

No kettle in the room??? It has a mini kitchen but no cutlery plates, cups etc. Pool room only open sometimes Room description on booking.com was deceiving, but staff accommodated with no issues

The staff was so professional and cordial, so much so that I am writing this review when I usually don't write one. I liked how spacious the room is with 2 queen beds, not a common thing in NYC! The rooftop area was lovely, wish we could have spent more time there. The location was great, we could walk to the train station easily.

The bathroom could use an exhaust fan or something for the steam that accumulates.

i liked the room a lot! looked like the pictures and was everything I expected. it’s in a perfect location and relatively affordable.

the room only had a tiny window but it wasn’t too bad, since I only stayed for the night. you should also be aware that there is no breakfast option! it is also quite hard to find from the outside because it doesn’t say “truss hotel” anywhere.

The room was large and very clean. Housekeeping staff were lovely, helpful and professional. Reception staff knowledgeable and helpful too. Shower was hot an powerful. Overall a great hotel in the heart of Hells Kitchen.

This hotel was perfect for our quick trip! The staff was super friendly and the room was very neat (we had corner windows and it was bigger than a lot of other hotels we have stayed at in the same area)! It was pretty close to Times Square so a great price for a good location! Will definitely stay there again!
