Our stay was in general really comfortable, we felt welcomed: the staff was really kind. There is also a restaurant connected to the hotel, which serves really good food and it is quite practical if there is one evening when you dont wanna go out. For me this is a typical hotel for first timers in NYC because it is located right in the touristic center with the Emprie state building, time square and rockefeller center right around the corner. This means that the hotel is located in a really crowded area, when you step out of the hotel, you step right into the action.

Sadly (but i think that is the case in the most hotels in NYC) the walls were really thin and we had a family right next to us. They woke up at 6am just to start screaming at each other for like 2 hours. This was just really bad luck but yeah: the walls are really thin.

Our room was very clean and the hotel is in a perfect location. Every staff member was kind and professional. We received outstanding customer service. The fridge in our room did not work when we first arrived but they replaced it within 20 minutes, which is exceptional.

The heating/cooling system in our room did not work very well. Only hot/warm air came out even when we turned the cold air on, so the room was uncomfortably warm at times and we had to open the window. Thankfully, we were out for most of the day so it was only an issue in the evening but we managed.

Location is not the best. Although close to time square - area does not feel safe at night

Clean hotel, good facilities, great staff, well located next to the Garden, Empire state and the Edge - short walk to Times Square.

Food was a tad overpriced, room is small with not much wardrobe space. We had a connecting room, so we could hear everything next door got up to!!

We absolutely loved the location of the hotel, as we were attending a game at MSG within walking distance. Bed was extremely comfortable, and the bar/restaurant was above and beyond our expectations! Beekman products in the shower goes above and beyond and was a BIG plus to our stay!

No microwave in the room made it difficult for re-heating leftovers so we ended up throwing them out. Temperature of shower water was luke warm, although the structure and shower itself was excellent. TV would lag from time to time but we barely watched it only had it on in the background, so not a big deal for our stay.

I had a great stay, everyone was very nice, and the room was very comfortable. No complaints whatsoever. I’ll definitely look to stay here again on my next business trip.

Couldn’t get the wifi to work. I selected the network that I was told to, but for the 5 days I was there I never had any internet connection. The network never prompted me to enter the password I was given at the front desk. I have unlimited data on my mobile plan though, so it wasn’t too much of an inconvenience.

The facilities were clean, modern and comfortable. staff were absolutely lovely, friendly and helpful. The hotel is well situated in terms of being close to the subway and several must see attractions in New York.

The Area…. The blocks surrounding the hotel. (Although this is no way the fault of the hotel) Sadly, as is the same in every large town or city, NY has a lot of homeless people, as well as it’s fair share of ‘characters!’ and this area seemed to attract a lot of both, either taking shelter in doorways or under scaffolding, or just wandering on the blocks surrounding the hotel. They caused us no issues, but after dark when the streets empty the area has a slightly uncomfortable feel, possibly made worse because of the overwhelming smell of ‘weed’ being smoked (it is legal in NY) We noticed there are quite a few shops selling it on 8th Ave near by. Personally I can’t stand the smell, and it hung in the air constantly.
