Madison LES Hotel

1. The elevator were fast 2. Front desk attention was nice 3. Late check out without extra charge 4. The room light could be set completely dark if you want which helped me with my sleep

1. The location was not very good. Specially cause it has one of the most dirty surrounds. 2. The rooms are so communicated with exterior area and to the basement floor, so at times it felt noisy. However I have to admit that in the night there weren’t noises but in case you have difficult neighbors I guess it can be.

I was very satisfy with room cleanliness, location and staff members

I wasn't satisfy with the room size, the description Deluxe double room and the amount I paid for was over price. The room size was small and another dissatisfy there was no microwave or refrigerator inside the room. The room wasn't a Deluxe double room like it was described, actually it was a double standard room. I'm a bit upset for over paying.

Pros: Very clean! Bathroom was spotless and the room was not carpet which made it feel even cleaner. The furniture and vibe in the room felt modern/new. Comfy, large bed. Friendly and helpful staff. Large TV with good channels. Location was good - close walk to the subway and had some good eats nearby ish (check out Joe's Steam Rice Roll and Mother's Ruin which are both walkable from the hotel). There are definitely hotels that are in better locations but for the price this was good. Also, it has a pretty nice view from the room (see pic). Overall: For the price, I would recommend this hotel, especially if you won't be spending too much time in the room. For people who want luxury or plan to be in the hotel room a lot, it's probably not the best choice for you as it is a bit cramped.

Cons: Very small room - there's nowhere to put clothes away or even to keep your luggage really. Just a couple hangers on the side of the room. Noisy - you could hear people talking in the hallway often and loudly, as well as between the walls of the rooms. You could also hear the train going over the bridge but I actually didn't mind that sound at all, it was kind of like a white noise while sleeping.

They have nice amenities in the lobby when you arrive. The room was neat with nice touches. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The linens were very good quality.

Our double room would not be good for people with large luggage. It is small with shelves instead of a closet and not much space to open luggage. The roof had nice views but the trains nearby were too noisy to enjoy it for long. The noise did not bother our sleeping at night.

No storage space, just a couple hangers n could barely fit just 2 coats Could do with a mirror in the actual room (mirror was only in bathroom) I don't know if it's an American thing, but the showers are not short girls friendly. Cause you can't adjust the location so if not very careful, will be washing your hair when you don't want to.

1. The bed mattress was too soft 2. The hotel location is so and so - not the best in Manhattan, not many attractions in the immediate vicinity - but this is not an issue and is definitely offset by the lower price you pay and public transportation is very efficient 3. The receptionist could have been more friendly/amiable

It was the cheapest hotel we could find on Manhattan with ok reviews. The F subway St East Broadway is close by. Fun to walk through Chinatown. It is clean, has comfortable beds and real duvets. Nice to be able to sit outside on the roof top. Great with breakfast included.

The TV did not work. They plugged the cable back in. But the TV was falling off the wall. And they came in to drill. The room was really small, not much floor space Would have been nice with duvet covers instead of sheets that fall off.

Bed -- Comfortable. The room was small as other reviewers said, but let's be fair, this is New York, one of the most expensive places to stay in the world, and this was an affordable option, so this meant I could stay in New York when otherwise I couldn't have. I was on a bike tour and booked an accessible room. You can't leave your bike outside in New York and expect it to still be there when you get back to it, whatever lock you have. I didn't ask but nobody tried to stop me taking the bike up to my room, and the presence of a lift made it possible.

I mean, the room could have been three times the size but I would have expected it to be three times the price. I knew it would be quite small, and it was neither bigger nor smaller than I expected.

You cant beat the price! We travel to the city a lot, and always stay in Chinatown since it has the best prices! This was the best hotel/ hostel that we stayed in for the price. For the same price point as nearby hostels, your amenities are much better than other hotels in the area (and you get your own bathroom!) We wish is wasn't so cold when we visited to enjoy the outside area more.

TV had limited channels and there was no fridge in the room like we thought. This was a bit further of a walk to get to places like the train or to our favorite food places, but we didn't mind

Close to the Manhattan bridge was awesome, we could see it from the window. Very good included breakfast, it made the mornings a lot easier. The room was as clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and professional. Our flight in got canceled so we checked in a day late, we received a one-night voucher. We had an extra bed that we did not use, but it provided more space to lay out our things.

The TV disconnected from the internet and we couldn't watch anything for a few days. I needed to report the problem at the front desk and via email to get it solved. The bedside nightstand is small and the phone takes up a lot of space on it; my father and I struggled to manage the space with our stuff on it. The desk drawer handle and the ice-bucket handle came off when pulled, so we hope this doesn't go against us.
